When I first started working out beginning of 2025, I tried several studios in the area and chose to stick with Mpower and I'm so glad I did. The business owner responded to my review of the instructor Celia by telling me that she just had a different teaching style that was not to my preference and that I can choose a different one. I agree that feeling targeted, disrespected and subjected to a 5 minute toxic rant is definitely not my preferred style. If you read the other reviews here on Yelp and ClassPass for this instructor, it's not a matter of style but they all pretty much said the same thing and experienced the same disrespect. Some even came out of the class in tears. Rather than invalidate the views and feelings of your customers, I would hope as the business owner, you would at least look into it. read more

I have been with MPower consistently for a year and a half and wouldn't have it any other way! I almost exclusively take Celia's classes (Mat Pilates, Sculpt, Hot Fusion, and MPower 2) each week because she thoughtfully sequences classes, always has amazing playlists, and will push you to be your best. The purpose of group fitness is to be guided and encouraged to meet your potential. If you want a true fitness teacher, take Celia's classes. another month in and i love this place ! I love the little competitions we have going on the wall of reaching 100 classes it really motivates you to show up! I especially enjoy Laura, Keira, Coco, Telia, Lexi & Kat's classes such sweet girls but dont get me wrong they make you put in the work ! I will say i would love for the studio itself to be a bit more clean. After doing a workout with our disks i looked down and noticed my knees and toes full of dirt from the floor.. when i went to wipe my excess sweat off the floor with my towel it came up so dirty. This is not a bad review i just wish that the studio floor was cleaned more often cause a studio that doesn't allow shoes should not be as dirty as it was. read more

I was pretty disappointed to find out the class I signed up for (Grateful to the core Pilates) was heated to 95° when the description for the class failed to disclose the information on class pass. I disclosed my personal health situation to the front desk and I wasn't given the option for a refund nor an exchange to a different class. Unfortunately my situation makes it very dangerous if my internal temperature reaches above 100°. This a complete failure in my opinion to keeping participants safe. read more

My cousin and I tried hot mat pilates for the first time through ClassPass and fell in love. This class was hard and HOT but you feel such relief and reward when finished. I will say I was SORE the next morning but in the best way. I can't wait to come back! I love MPower for several reasons, but let me start with Celia. Her first words to me during my first M1 with her was correcting a pose that I had NO idea how to do. Then she showed me the correct way. I've never looked back. She has been my coach and fitness inspo ever since. Celia is all about creating a structured space and correcting it when cohesion is disturbed. This is the type of class where folks can attend and feel like the instructor is in control and all you have to do is listen, learn, and focus. I wish there were more stars than just 5 to rate my experience with Celia. She was absolutely incredible. It was my first time doing any kind of group class, I was invited by a friend to join Celia's sculpt class and she was phenomenal. She pushed me to my limit and then pushed me keep going when I was starting to get tired. She was lively, funny and attentive. I was nervous to join a group session since I've never done anything like this before, but she was very graceful and welcoming and I couldn't imagine a better first time experience. 10 stars! read more

M Power Yoga is a great studio that is clean and has plenty of space. The 1 star review is on the yoga instructor, Celia. She expects everyone who comes into her class to be experts in Yoga and if you're not, it will be known to the entire class and she will continue to pick on you if you are not doing the correct yoga posses. She screams and yells during class that is supposed to be encouraging but on the contrary it makes you feel uncomfortable. I left Celia's class today feeling really uneasy due to her attitude and the way she spoke to other women. I've attended about four other classes, and this was by far the worst experience. After class, I checked the reviews and saw one from a woman who was in the same session, and it only confirmed how I felt. I've been in the fitness industry for several years and have attended numerous gyms, and I have never witnessed this type of behavior in my life. Fitness classes should be a welcoming space where people feel encouraged to try something new, not shamed for it. Wasted my precious ClassPass credits on a class taught by Celia. Never will I ever use another credit on this place, let alone let my money go into this place. I would hate for my money to be going to an instructor who BELITTLES and is so rude to people. My sister and I love taking yoga classes together and have tried a good amount of different places. This was BY FAR thee WORST experience we have ever had. We were headed to the back of the class because we know that we are new so obviously, we can follow along and watch people if needed. As we were heading there, Celia looked us up and down and said "Since this is your first time, please go to the 3rd or 4th row" (4th row was the back). Like yes lady, we were heading there. And then she told us where to go, which was the 3rd row?? You gave us 2 options and then forced us to go to one?? Alright, what was the point of giving us options if you are going to force us to go somewhere ... Seemed like you just wanted to point out the fact that we are new. And then she emphasizes to us, not once, but a few times that this class is hard. As she is looking us up and down. First of all, how dare you look us up and down and judge us. I promise you we've been doing yoga for years now, this ain't our first rodeo. Anyways, we go through this class and I remember actually praying to God for it to be over. Not because the was hard, but because this lady won't leave us the hell alone. She keeps coming over to correct our form, which is totally fine but don't keep coming over to us when there's so many people around who also have horrible form. Do you want to just pick on the newbies and make us feel excluded? Genuine question. Also, I'm not used to speaking out loud when I'm working out, so STOP making me cheer when you say my name. You would think after the 3rd time you came up to me and stared at me until I cheer, that you would be able to see THAT I DON'T WANT TO CHEER. STOP MAKING ME. Also, she was forcing us to be in sync with each other. God forbid anyone can struggle or go a little slower. No, she will call you out for being off AND she'll yet at the whole class saying that we are not listening. Unfortunately, we do hear you, it's just that we don't care about timing. You should care that we are doing the workout at all, not shame anyone for going too slow. Honestly, so many things that made me so angry but I'm writing this review simply because it's one thing to do this stuff to me but her targeting my sister pissed me off. Be warned - DO NOT TAKE CELIA'S CLASS. I do not understand how she still has a job here after all the reviews I've seen about her. @MPower, you don't realize how many customers you are losing because of this one instructor. Never coming back again if this is the type of instructor you let teach at your studio. Yoga should be empowering and feel good, not make you feel like shit or feel uncomfortable. Even on your Yelp, let me quote the specialties: "Our teachers make the difference. Tyona has an incredible gentle yoga class! It was a yoga class perfect after a few days of hard kickboxing. She helped with my form and had candles, aromatherapy, jokes, bird/forest sounds and even a sound bath bowl! I'd definitely come again!! I have never had as good of a stretch as I had in her class. Not going to lie, I had a few tears when she said "find focus on your lower back and release the tension held in it." I do a lot of standing for work so her reminding me to appreciate and give grace and stretch my back hit me at my core. Idk. You had to be there. It was a moment as a new yogi Try this place! Such an amazing studio location with great class options. Right off Indian Hill so there's lots to do around town. Sundays are especially fun because you can take a morning class then walk over to the farmer's market a couple blocks over in the Village. Since I can only really make it to evening classes during the week, I love that there's a variety of options each night. Usually a sculpt class and then a couple different yoga options, so there's always something offered to fit what kind of class I may want at the time. I love the staff here - there's a strong sense of community at MPower. Classes are fun, people are great, and it helps my scoliosis!!! read more

This was my worst experience I have ever had at a yoga studio. My instructor was Celia Koshak unfortunately. The whole class time she was picking on my friend and I. Constantly yelling, saying rude comments towards us, passive aggressive and belittling us for no reason. I've never wanted a yoga class to end so fast in my life. What a shame that your studio has such a horrible, narcissist who micromanages the whole time and belittles the class.
