I do not normally write reviews, but these guys were wonderful! I found them here on Yelp! They were super responsive to a quote and answered any questions I had before hand. They had one of the best prices I found getting estimates and that includes and cleaning AND inspection. They educated me on proper use and care. We selected Jay for the great reviews but unfortunately we did not have a great experience! We scheduled with Jay, who I assume is the owner, to come repair our gas log fireplace that runs off of a switch because it had stopped working. Jay showed at the scheduled date/time (12/2) and promptly serviced the fireplace. Let me state here that when he left, the fireplace was working! Several hours later we went to turn it on and again it would not light! We contacted Jay right away to let him know that again it was not working and he stated that he would try to come back out on Friday (12/4) but would give us a call. We followed up with him today (12/3) to confirm the time for Friday only to be told that he would try to make it Monday (12/7). I expressed to Jay that we could not be available on Monday and since he was paid for his service I would think that he would want to make this a priority. Jay responded by stating "was the fireplace working before I left?" My dispute is not that it wasn't working when he left but that apparently his services are only good for several hours!! I would think in the interest of good customer service, Jay would make us a priority when he has already been paid for services "rendered". His response was that he is busy this time of year. Yep, we get that too. It is also important to know that it is Jay's business practice to be paid in CASH which he did not preface when we made the appointment. Not sure who keeps hundreds of dollars in cash for home repairs but we sure don't! We opted to chalk this up to a lesson learned and will be seeking repair from another vendor. read more

Excellent customer service! Called on Sunday and Jay came out Monday to diagnose our issue. We have a gas fireplace that turns on with a switch and we could not get it to turn on. He diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes. I asked him if he could get the part to repair it prior to Thanksgiving and he did just that!
