Originally went with this company because they were trustworthy, had great prices, and where very knowledgeable. But the service and communication is really bad. I have been calling every 2 or 3 days over the past 4 - 5 months and I NEVER get a call back. Leaving calm messages on their answering system, being told by the receptionist that someone will get back to you. Not ONE call back, EVER. A quarter of my solar panels have not been operating for over 6 months. Can't get anyone to respond. Spent $40,000+ on solar panels with no support. They used to be a great local company that provided upstanding service and great prices but no longer. Try for yourself. Give them a call and see what happens. Good luck.

Absolute scam. Advertised a sweep for $99. When I called they said it's actually $149. OK - I'll…read morepay the additional $50 because $99 is really inexpensive. I asked if I should remove the rain cap and he said it's not necessary because they sweep from the bottom up. That was weird because my chimney is easily accessible (even without a ladder), but not totally uncommon. When they showed up in a regular pickup truck (no signage, no ladders, just a kid in a truck) he almost immediately said I needed a deep clean for $500. He pushed and pushed and pushed. I should have kicked him out of the house, but he proceeded with the "sweep" using 4 extension rods (only 12 feet total) and a brush that literally had 5 bristles. He could not possibly reach the entire flue or do even a mediocre job with the "brush" he used. HE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! Shame on me for not putting my boot in has a$$ and throwing him out. They are CROOKS.

Showed up right on time. Their system sent notifications letting me know when they were on their way and estimate arrival time. They surveyed, and immediately quoted the work. They did not try to overall sell me they understood the situation. Fixed some cracking in the mortar on top of the Chimney, as noted by inspector and installed new Chimney cap. Everything done in a few hours. Also they are providing an invoice with pictures so I have documentation of what was done.

They have always shown up on time and are very respectful. The quality of their work is top notch. I am more than pleased. Side note: Through ignorance, I was burning some wood that created a lot of creosote in my wood boiler and chimney. They explained, in detail, the best way to avoid that in the future. Now I'm confident that I will avoid a dangerous creosote build up again. I highly recommend this company to everyone. One more thing; as a single older woman, I've been screwed over a few times from other people. Certified Chimney is the polar opposite. The cost of their work is consistent and fair.
