We waited and waited to get the information on how to pay the earnest money then when it was getting close to being due I finally called to try to get instructions and they said we had already paid. Turns out they put someone else's info on our profile that it had been paid even though we had not - so that would be horrible to be the other person. Anyways, got that piece figured out then when we tried to pay the closing costs it was an absolute nightmare with the reps telling me our account does not exit. Which it had to because we paid the earnest money. After way too much back and forth they EVENTUALLY figured out our escrow team - Shannon something and Nathan Galinat never put our info in correctly so the tech team couldn't find me. Absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money we were putting down. The only saving grace and why it gets a single "star" is because the traveling notary was super convenient. Loved that they were able to come to our home instead of us having to go to them. While this was my first home buying experience I don't have anything to compare it to, but honestly chick fil a has better customer service if that tells you anything.

I asked him to do it conventionally, not FHA, bc I had enough to put down for the down payments etc. He walked me through the steps of getting the appraisal, gift letters, money in the proper bank accounts for the down payments....everything. Told me we would close in December, but that didn't happen bc I found out he filed the loan under FHA (for reasons I still don't understand), and they wanted the deposits for my gift to my wife for the down payment to be in there longer, etc... So he asked for some more time bc his underwriters needed more documents, I returned all documents asked for the same day he asked, everytime. He makes another closing date in February....says we have ALL of what we need, and it's a done deal. On the day before we are to sign the papers, I'm calling, I'm texting, I'm emailing.....and he doesn't respond. Finally, I get a call from the SELLER of the house asking what the hell is going on, bc he just got a call from the title company saying it's gonna take another week bc Josh doesn't have his shit together on his end. After calling Josh, and leaving several perturbed messages, asking, "How in the HELL am I finding out from the seller that we are not closing tomorrow", and that he spoke to them before he ever talked to me......he finally calls me back around 5-6PM that evening. Now he tells me that after looking at things again, FHA regulations blah blah blah aren't going to allow this to be processed for another month, bc of the gift money not being in the bank at so and so date. I fired him on the spot..... My biggest problems with Josh are this.... 1. He was arrogant and confident on his end the whole way, saying he had it under control, doing everything he can....all the while he didn't have a clue what he was doing. I STILL don't know why he put me under FHA and their guidelines, when I told him I had the down payment for conventional, and we easily qualified for it. I never wanted to do FHA, but me not knowing the industry, I trusted this had to be the way. This constant pushing back month after month, cost me $3400 in rent along the way..... 2. Near the end, when he KNEW he screwed it up, and we weren't going to be able to close, when I called and text him at 2PM to see what's going on the day before the close, he texts me he's going to call me back at 3PM bc he's in a meeting. (I have all the text log/call log to prove this) I don't get a call back....I call, I text, still nothing. Then I get a call from the seller around 4PM saying he's pushing it back again etc.....SO INFURIATING to hear that from someone not named Josh Claudio....still no call back!!! I finally get a call from Josh in the evening, and he gives me the bad news about pushing it back ANOTHER MONTH....says it's out of his hands, he's done the best he can with my "special situation". Like I said, I told him I couldn't stand for this incompetence, and was going to explore my options elsewhere. I got a hold of another mortgage broker at 9PM that evening. I CLOSED ON THE HOUSE, USING A CONVENTIONAL LOAN, IN 13 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE TIME I FIRED JOSH. The simple fact that I closed basically as quick as humanly possible, starting fresh with a brand new broker only days after firing Josh, shows that he did not handle my loan properly. Simple as that....nothing can refute that. He simply dropped the ball, filed it incorrectly somehow, and did not get me to the finish line as promised. I can appreciate the fact that he did put a lot of time into this, I honestly believe he tried to get it done....but at the end of the day, he did not get the job done, and basically jerked me around for months, costing me more rent.

Through no one's fault but my own, I found myself drowning in credit card debt and no resources. I…read morecontacted Jim Emerson at ACCRS, who promised to contact my creditors and get a "settlement" - for a fee of $500.00. I stupidly agreed and Jim let me pay that amount in two monthly installments. I signed a contract, which contained a Power of Attorney form for him to act on my behalf. The ACCRS website included a statement that a total refund would be given if I was not satisfied. Jim supposedly contacted two credit card companies for me and I asked to see the correspondence he had sent them. He refused, telling me "If you saw what I sent them, you wouldn't need me", which should have been a red flag. The only correspondence I received from the credit card companies was statements and past due notices, because Jim instructed me to stop paying anything to those companies. This dragged on for five months, I saw no progress and assumed the credit card companies would soon be turning my accounts over to a collection agency. Finally, I called one of the credit card companies and asked them to send me a copy of what ACCRS had sent them. They said they had received NOTHING from Jim Emerson or ACCRS! I told Jim that and demanded that he send me a copy of what he said he had sent the company and asked for a total refund of my $500.00, per the guarantee on his website. He finally sent me a copy of "his" correspondence and it was written as though it was from me, with my "signature" and was very vague, making me look like a worse idiot than I already am. When I again asked for my money back, he said that he had done what I had contracted and he refused to return my money. When I checked the ACCRS website, the refund guarantee had magically disappeared! Mr. Emerson then ghosted me, refusing to respond to my calls, emails and texts. I checked with the Better Business Bureau (something I should have done to begin with) and ACCRS is not registered with them. I have since contracted with a company approved and sanctioned by the BBB and the FCAA (Financial Counseling Association of America) and was with a working program with a great company within a week, for a one-time fee of only $50.00. My sympathetic contact at this new company told me that people like Jim Emerson and companies like ACCRS take advantage of financially stupid people (my words, not his) like myself. So PLEASE stay away from Jim Emerson and companies like ACCRS. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I sent a notification to the agent to cancel my policy in which they didn't do in a timely manner so I was charged for the next 2 months even after telling the agent that I was being charged when I specifically asked that the policy is cancelled. I kept getting the runaround. First I was told their accountant would cut me a check. Next, I had to fill out audit papers detailing how much my business made for the year even though I didn't have them for the whole year. I have no problem being audited which is their excuse is that I have to be audited to get back my money that was wrongfully taken out of my account. I am still trying to get my money returned now that it is April. All this began in December. I wouldn't trust this company because they will say and do whatever to not take responsibility or refund my money.
