Upon arrival, we were greeted by Glen (goes by glendabarber) who was the most rude individual I think i've EVER met in my life. He lacks basic personal skills, manners or hospitality. Upon arrival, he was "acting" as though he was the coolest person in the room and as though he owned the shop. He made our requests feel like they were silly, degraded us and undermined the fact that fact that it was our first time at a barber shop like this. My fiance who was getting the hair cut accidentally stepped on his foot rest to hoist himself into the chair to which Glen replied "let me show you how to sit in a chair- its not a step stool, its a foot rest" and proceeded to "son" him and little boy him- acting as though we were idiots. He then proceeded to ask "how old both I and my fiance were" just because I was showing him reference photos on how I would like wanted his hair cut for our engagement photos. Which by the way, we had to cancel beacause his hair cut looks so stupid. Like a bowl cut. Glen didn't even bother to style his hair after blow drying it. We spent $50 (to low tapper fade on the sides and the back)-- and said he had to "charge him extra bc he came with his hair wet" when-- mind you, we usually get wet cuts from other salons. We wasted time on that BS.. and poor custom service. I would never recommend this place to anyone -- in fact, I plan to make other reviews. I do want to note that the other members who worked there seemed extremely kind and treated their customers with respect. The Base Barber- I HIGHLY recommend having a major sit down with Glen. He lacks every ounce of customer service or friendly nature that you could ever expect in someone. We wanted to walk out from the moment we sat in his chair.
