Eric took ownership of my extensive problems with a dud car known as 2025 Honda CRV hybrid. Bad fuel injectors, crack in piston and more sent this car to the shop several times for many days. Do not recommend this car. I do recommend Eric. He is top notch. He kept me informed almost daily of the car repair status. He really took it upon himself to take care of me. I cannot speak for the rest of the repair staff but Eric shines! FOLLOWUP: In order to rid ourself of further problems with the 2025, we traded it for a 2026 CRV based on reports that the 2026 was a much better car not beset by the 2025 problems. We dealt with Kunes again. Pleased to report they gave us a fair deal on the trade. I say fair becuse they knocked a few hundred bucks off the MSRP which is about all you can expect on a high demand car like the CRV.The sales rep, BEN, was topnotch. He was professional. No pressure. Process went smoothly. I don't fault Kunes for the manufacturing errors. We drove away happy and hopeful. Thanks BEN for your assistance

Regretfully purchased from kunes on 6/11. I was refused my paperwork, despite asking many times. I…read moredidn't receive it until 22 days later on July 3rd. The 11 pages of this contract I was given was very different than what was negotiated prior to going to financing. I called the lender to dispute the details of what I was given. Imagine my surprise when the lender said there's a 25 page contract. The lender immediately sent it to me. And that paperwork was completely different than the numbers I was given as my copy. The loan amount was inflated to have me on the hook for over $42,000. There was a $499 key replacement charge I was never told about and the contact info on that paper was changed to someone else's but had my name. The amount they said I make was higher than I actually make. There was also a $99 theft deterrent e-contracting charge, and a $1200 gap insurance charge snuck in... In fact, the finance manager Andrew Harris had changed a lot of this contract down to forging my signature and using the initials AP instead of AM. On 6/20 there were parts updated and signed with a time stamp of 6/20 5:55pm. Now that would prove impossible for me to have done as I was clocked in at work over an hour away.. I did raise concerns to Kunes over it... A Sales manager emailed me and stated "As a direct result of my paperwork Andrew is no longer with the company, so if Id like to come back in I wouldn't have to see him". Ever since then I get daily ssn tracker alerts associated with different address, names and numbers... I can't help but think of how many this may have also happened to... ***Make sure to double check your paperwork with what the lender has. *** Mine did not match and even had different phone numbers as contact info on me for a key replacement I never wanted or asked about. And documents were electronically signed and time stamped on 6/20 at 5:55pm when I was over an hour away clocked in at work my visit to the dealership was on 6/11. These business practices need looked into. To make sure no one else's name has been forged unknowingly, loan applications falsified to obtain a loan, and fraudently obtaining wire transfers to collect on loans. Josh Bock was probably the only person there that wasn't a complete scum bag. James Storey - POS Andrew Harris - POS Brad Bunch - You should never withhold things in exchange for a good Google review verse doing what you know is right.

Then said they would not take our trade in but we are approved for finance. We said we did not want to add a 3rd car payment we want to trade out car in. They said no they will not do it. Then told us to buy the car the have and let our trade in car go back to the bank. That it would not hurt our credit and they most likely won't report it and probably would not even come get that car. Clearly we said absolutely not. We went to leave and two of them chased us down in the parking lot. Trying to convince us more. Swore up and down the bank that approved us would not take our car as a trade in. To get them to let us leave I insisted my husband and I needed to go talk about it ourselves. So they tried to get me to try the vehicle out and I flat out said no. Then they said we'll you want to drive this car around town while you talk about it. My husband said sure. I got in our car and he got in that one. We headed straight to Shottenkirk. Guess what, the same bank that approved us at Kunes approved us with shottenkirk, for a better car and took our trade in! I left there in a rage and still angry. We may not of fell for it but others may. Be warned of this sorry excuse for a business. Go to shottenkirk. No pressure and they work for you not to ruin your credit for 7 years!

Originally called on 11/13/24 to make an appointment because the date I was looking to have my…read morevehicle serviced wasn't yet available online. Spoke with Trina who claimed to have set an appointment for me. She didn't ask for a phone number or an email address which I found odd and as she was hanging up, I overheard her say it was a wrong number that called in. Scheduled an oil change and diagnostic check (because our check engine light was going on and off) for the date that I needed the following week online. Got a confirmation email and text, which further proved that Trina didn't actually schedule my appointment, since I didn't receive either after the phone call with her. Arrived at my appointment on 11/03/24 a few minutes before 8am, greeting was less than stellar from both Trina and the other man working the service desk. They couldn't find my appointment, ended up writing down the info I'd already filled out online. Got the car checked out, was told I needed a new turbo. Got the info on how much it would cost and when they'd have the part in by. Told Rick I could come back on Monday morning since I was heading up to MN for Thanksgiving. Was handed the keys, which I was confused about since I hadn't paid for the oil change yet. Asked about that, which they hadn't done (not sure why since that was one of the services I'd scheduled) Rick said they'd fit me in. About 10-15 minutes later my car was out front and I was ready to pay. Rick said they'd add it to the tab for the service on Monday. Which I thought was odd, but Rick seemed like a pretty trust worthy guy, so I took the keys. There was a new sticker from Shottenkirk Chevy on the windshield, which didn't have a date of service but mileage for the next service. Checked my Cruze's oil dash, which was reset and said that the oil life was at 100%. Came in today on 12/02/24 arrived a few minutes before 8, again no actual greeting just asked what I was there for. Mind you, I was there for almost 3 hours and saw many other customers come in and were greeted with an actual hello or how are you. Told them what Rick told me. Was told the service would take about 2-3 hours, which it took just under 3. Looked at the bill, which didn't have the added amount for an oil change. When I got to the car, checked the invoice and the mechanic who serviced the car wrote in the notes for my car that I needed an oil change. Half of the services that I SCHEDULED for my appointment on 11/03 weren't actually completed and was lied to my face that it was. Hopefully they were being honest about my car needing a new turbo, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. UPDATE::::::::::::::::::::: Chatted with the GM about my experience, apparently Rick thought there was some miscommunication. Which isn't sitting right with me, because that is not the truth. I've added some photos to make clear that there was no miscommunication. The mileage on the invoice from Photo 1 is from when I first brought the car in on 11/03/24 (wasn't updated for this service, not sure how important that actually is) As you can see from the service sticker, next recommended service is exactly 5000 miles from the mileage posted on the invoice. How would have I gotten said sticker, if it wasn't brought in? Either it was brought in the back and a sticker was just slapped on without any work done, or it was serviced. If you look at the Photo 2, you can see the mechanic who serviced the car today says it needs an oil change. The obvious answer is that it wasn't serviced and there was no miscommunication, a sticker was slapped on with no actual work being done. I'm sure if you look at the cameras from 11/03/24 between 8am-10am you'll see that what I wrote above is exactly what happened.
