Okay my interactions with Fruit Fixed was a lesson for me. The staff is friendly and seem to be knowledgeable however the technical ability is evidently lacking or they " saw me coming". I brought a desk top computer in because it was acting up. Working sometimes and not other times with a snowy screen. I was told there was a $50 assessment fee that would go towards any repairs that were done. After two weeks I get a call that the processor was bad. I asked them to replace it. Then a couple days later a call saying the hard drive is bad ( I had already checked that to find no bad sectors) and asked them to just replace it. Moving down from 2 TB to 1Tb of n the process. I get a call after a couple of weeks that it's ready. $227.00. I get it home to find it's doing exactly what I brought it in to have fixed. After messaging the company I received a message from the owner of Fruit Fixed saying I should bring it back in and they would fix it. 17 days later after they replaced the motherboard $94.00 I have it back. I'm anxious to see if my almost new computer is in working order. This is why I used to do my own vehicle maintenance and repairs. $321.00 lesson. Mr Carroll @ Fruit Fixed. I'm not angered or upset with Fruit Fixed nor unhappy with the work that was done there. I am a bit upset with myself for allowing myself to believe this would be an easy fix . " probably just this or maybe just that" and I believed it. Yes, I should have junked the computer and started fresh , but I didn't. My fault for sure. Now as I load my software onto the repaired computer I'm glad to have it working again , and will be able to get some things done as soon as I retrieve the dongle that wasn't returned with the tower. They charge out over $300 to put a defective screen on. I explained to the individual I was from out of state and asked if they had the proper necessities to fix my issue. The young man walked to their back doorway peeked around the corner and quickly said yes.. 2 days after installation my screen started blacking out, you can still hear the phone attempting to operate but nothing showing on screen. Once I was able to get my screen back up I had to switch to permanently unlocked to avoid my screen cutting off at all and I got a weird message advising that the part placed on my phone was not a genuine iPhone part. After leaving my review and requesting contact they told me that they placed a defective screen on my phone and that I could come back and have it warranty replaced or have an old screen put on in order to receive refund. Not to mention said "old screen" would come from who knows where. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Before you waste the money just go to Apple !! Not helpful at all in getting their screw up resolved other than telling me I need to drive 4 hours to come back to there store. As you can see the "owner" is stating I didn't even try but for the price of a refund I'd be using just to get down there. It's not the fact of me not trying more so you being an UNPROFESSIONAL piece of work. If my review will keep others from out of state having that same issue then yes I will use my freedom of speech to leave a review. Please take note of how this supposed "professional" calls himself handling the situation when it was not you I spoke with but a woman. I brought my laptop in knowing that the wifi card had finally died. I explained I knew a little about computers. The young man invited me to their back work area. He removed the back of my laptop, showed me the wifi card, and we talked a bit about it. I let him know I knew that it was the card that was bad. My computer was showing no signs of any other problems. My display was out and I had addressed that problem since I knew what to do. You see I work on computers, I just didn't feel like replacing the part myself, so I played stupid. I guess they did what I should have expected and played Lazy. They told me the problem was not my wifi card and the only solution was to format my computer. I asked if they were kidding and was told the manager had removed all the current drivers, and still the new driver would not work. No Kidding?? I said I knew they were wrong; it is the wifi card. I will be in shortly to pick up my machine. I got it home and they were ever so "Nice". Turn Off the access to everything - The Monitor had been Disabled. First, I had to shoot darts in the dark to get that on. I was only able to lift my screen about 2" (happy to post pictures!), I had to get a mirror to fix things. Once I was able to fix that wonderful surprise, they left me- I found out why my power cord, mouse, and so on weren't working. Their next gift. They disabled all USB, micro-USB, my speakers, everything. I had to fix all of that pretty blind until I could get access back to my external monitor. It took me several hours to fix what those jacka** kids did-I believe on purpose. They damaged my computer monitor. Fruit Fix needs to change its name OR take anything computer-related OFF their posting. By the way, that computer that it wasn't the WiFi card. I decided to stop being lazy and fix it myself. Guess what was wrong with the laptop that I brought into you all and Told you was wrong with it? Need a Hint? Oh, and I want my Gift - Tupperware Bowls - the first day I gave one of y'all before I knew you all didn't know your head from your toes. read more

Holy cow but a tech store that doesn't cry about not having labor and having 6 weeks of back up. I broke my iPhone 13 and didn't have insurance. ATT said since I had no insurance they told me to take it to Best Buy. I stood at Best Buy for 30 minutes and no one to talk to. I read their sign that they were short staffed and no one wants to work. No, I am not so forgiving for the long wait and lack of service. So I went to Fruit Works. They were fast to great me. After hearing what I need, they told me how much and when the part will be there. The next day, the part was there, I left my phone and they had it done! And at the CB price they quoted too. Shout out to I think Brandon who helped me. No more Best Buy in my future!!!!! read more

This could have very easily been a one star review. My phone screen broke. They replaced it on Monday, and I went back Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday because it was still acting up. The screen and my power button had issues, but after the fourth time George fixed my phone! I am grateful for their 90 day warranty and the service staff that is always willing to help more. Update: 9/22. After returning 7 times overall, Ian rebuilt my phone today! I am grateful for the warranty and excellent customer service. Thank you! read more

Slow, rude, not very " tech savvy" says they know what their doing then proceeds to break my device

Came in for a diagnosis for my MacBook Air (due to the black screen display when powering on) and I received immediate service from Jeff. He asked a few questions to gain knowledge of the problem before getting hands on with my Mac. Within a few seconds, he finished troubleshooting and got the screen back on as he explained the possible factors that may have contributed to the problem. The nice lady that worked with him in front also had tips for taking care of my Mac and realistic recommendations as to when to bring in for future service. Both staff were genuine, knowledgeable, and really helpful which gained my trust to come back if I have any future electronic problems. 10/10 recommend. read more

Ok. These guys would have gotten five stars. The guys at the shop were very personable and knowledgeable. They got my computer back time days before their estimate. So you may wonder why only four stars. They put stickers on my laptop.....which don't come off. Seriously this is 2020. We all know there are products out there which just pull off. With 2 teenagers seems like I have been there too often. They have fixed our phones 3 times. On the last visit one of our phones was submerged in water - after not being able to fix it, we still got charged and after speaking with the manager the employee was let go (not just because of this) and I was refunded my money. I will definitely continue to use their service. If you ever have an issue contact Justin. Feel kind of bad that I didn't try to contact him directly in the first place.
