What he didn't mention, was that he would have to delete ALL keys already programmed to my vehicle and reprogram ALL remotes again and charge me full price for each remote. I checked with another Locksmith (Gio Keys) and he confirmed that ALL keys do have to be deleted and reprogrammed, but it was included with the reprogramming, as it only took an extra 2 minutes for each additional key. A1 Locksmith tried to take advantage of the situation to make some extra cash for a minute or two of his time‍, just to sit there while the machine did the work!

The first call was disconnected by the person who answered. A subsequent call was not answered, and I ultimately reached the store from another number and was told the item was in stock. When I arrived, a different employee assisted me and completed the sale. During checkout, the employee opened the product box without my request while responding to a product-related question. The question could have been answered without opening the packaging. The item was not needed and remained unused. When I attempted to return it, I was informed that the store does not accept returns under any circumstances. This policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is not stated on the receipt. Under California consumer expectations, material terms such as a no-return policy should be clearly disclosed prior to purchase so customers can make informed decisions...especially when packaging is opened by store staff. Posting this so other customers are aware of the store's policies before purchasing. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

Skimmed a few places but honestly just took my chance with Liberty Lock & Key. I can't say I shopped around for price or went review crazy. Here's the rundown, my man arrived in about 35ish minutes. He was nice and was whippin' in the company van. Took about 15 or so minutes to pump & unlock my door. Nothing too crazy & was relatively painless. $60 flat rate was the tab but I rounded up to seventy cause that's how I roll. Easy, not overly pricey, & they obviously do "house calls." good enough for me especially since I was in a jam!

They were quick and efficient but I did ask if they're travel fee would roll into the final invoice…read moreon the phone. They said yes, but when the technician came out, he charged both the travel fee and the install. Three stars because they did the work but were not up front with the cost.

He couldn't find a simple pry tool and was searching around like a filthy teenager shuffling through their bedroom. This place is disgusting and ran by amateurs. Everything he said was wrong about the process of duplicating and programing. Proof is that he broke the oem key fob I brought in because he's too stupid to know that you can't use a metal flat head screw driver to open plastic parts. The rest of us have the sense to use a plastic pry tool as to avoid breaking key fobs. Try at your own risk and downfall.
