On 2/25/2022, my key didn't want to start the ignition. I called Jose and he came to assist me right away. He gave me a spare chip key, programmed it to the car, and spare key for door. However, he didn't program my original spare key and charged me $160. At the time, I was in need and I thought he did a great job. Now, on 3/18/2022, the spare chip key he made broke and since he didn't program the original spare I had, I couldn't start my car. I called and he stated he was out of town and his daughter was coming. His daughter came out on 3/19/2022 to program the original spare key that he didn't do the first time and charged me $75.00. Additionally, she was going to leave me a spare key but she was having trouble cutting the key and starting the ignition. She stated that her father would come out 3/20/2022, to have the spare she had made on 3/19/2022 work and start my car. She said he would come around 10 am. I waited and when I called him at 10:30 am, he said he wasn't going to come and give me the spare because she had just gone to program the key. I let him know that she programmed a key that he had forgotten the first time and refused to come out. Even though their service was efficient when I needed it in 2/25/2022, they aren't reliable and go back on their word. They have made their service seem untrustworthy and distrustful. I read reviews that they charged others 95 for the same service. Please make sure that they do what is needed. I should have spoke up the first time he came. I'm that person that goes crazy looking for their phone when its in my hand. I'll sometimes leave my keys in the ignition and only realize it when I go to the garage to start my car. What are you going ta do... I lost my keys. So I called roadside assistance they opened my car keys weren't in there.. I have a four year old and two nephews, 3 & 4. I think one of them took it. Probably flushed them. I drive a 1999 Honda accord they original key has a chip so the car won't turn on unless you use that key. Spare will only unlock the door and ignition but won't start the car. Gave me a price unlike all the other places. 95 dollars for a master key, programmed and everything. To me that was a deal. SERVICE Jose got here 20-30 minutes after I called which is fine since he drove from Huntington park to Montebello. Got to work as soon as he arrived in his nice shiny white van. 20 minutes later my car turned on. :D CUSTOMER SERVICE Jose was super professional. He explained to me what was going on with my car. I talked to him for a while and I didn't realize he was coming from Huntington park when I found him on Google so I was like woah thanks for coming out. I needed to repair both car door lock cylinders for my 2004 Honda Civic. I messaged some places on Yelp and Jose's Lock & Key gave me the best deal. All other places wanted to charge me over $100 per door but with Jose's I was able to get both doors fixed for $160. The owner's son handles the Yelp account in English but the owner speaks Spanish and English. Jose brought his truck to my car and was able to repair both lock cylinders. Since it was a repair, I don't need to have a separate key to open the door; the original keys work well. I was able to watch him do the work and I am so happy that he was able to fix my locks in under 2 hours. I am really happy with the service I got. read more

Really happy that I got the price range I was aiming for. Most lock smith's I have contacted wanted to charge me between 185-250$ for a single key for a 2001 honda accord since it is a chipped key. I was super happy to find this place on Yelp and was able to speak with the owner in less than 10 minutes . Now he is on his way to my house as I am writing this review.
