Food is usually good n the salad bar is fresher than in most places. On the party side, we had a new employee attend to us but she didn't explain some things until the evening of the party where another employee explained to us things more thoroughly. I never write reviews based solely on customer service experience but there is always an exception. Bird is broken so I got the night off. Pizza beer my hotel room and Astros game. I'm in heaven. Gattis is awesome; many meals when I lived in Austin years a go for college. Pizza is great. Ranch is scratch made and you know it's from this pizza place. Customer service sucked. Girl that checked me out can't communicate. She was cleaning her purse out and forgot my pizza. When I got it back to hotel it was like it got made yesterday. Sad. They have reopened after a lengthy shutdown due to COVID. I placed an order online for delivery and I received an email confirmation however I never received my order. I tried calling multiple times and their phone system would pick up as I could hear background noise, but no one was on the other line. Needless to say I imagine trying to get a refund will be a headache. My advice is don't try doing something or saying you have delivery if you can't execute it properly. To anyone trying to order delivery I recommend you pick someone else. UPDATE: They stated they don't offer delivery however it's on their Facebook page and on signs around the exterior of the business. Oh and it also lets you pick delivery from their website. ‍ UPDATE #2: It has been 2 weeks since I spoke with a manager at this location and she assured me I would see a credit on my statement. My girlfriend had some salad to go with her pizza and she felt miserable after we finished eating. She was sick literally right as we left. The place was chaotic, messy, sticky, smelly, and loud. Everywhere you went everyone was pushing or piling plates on tables that were vacant. I am not a big fan of buffets, but if you arrive early every thing is fresh and hot. They have a nice salad bar and keep everything clean and filled. I prefer crispy crusts and thin for my pizza, they serve a nice variety. The prices are good for seniors and families. Was there with winter Texans from a RV park. read more

This is probably my favorite pizza buffet, every single bite was spontaneous, the Mac and cheese was cheesy, I didn't get the special 2 for 9.99 but the whole whopping 6.99 was well worth it! The popping pink lemonade was popping! Mr. Gatti's is a whole different world I absolutely enjoyed every moment now I am full and deserve a nap! The Ranch Soup is an absolute recommendation!! Also it's a wonder place for all ages there was school buses and elderly centers there! The Pizza was cooked to absolutely perfection the cheese pizza was cheesy like the Mac and cheese and the pizza that contained topping had just the right amount of popping toppings (like the lemonade)!! The toppings on the pizza this could've been a little bit more but overall the pizzas were quite tasty. The pasta Alfredo left a little bit to be desired, there was not enough kept on the line so that it did not stay hot enough. The salad bar on the other hand was exceptional. The bathrooms were clean. The general cleanliness of the establishment was fair. There were some children playing the games but they seem to be under control. This was our first time at a Gatti's Pizza. Would I go back? I decided to go a week after they reopened & it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. To start with, the girl charging for the entrance up front looked really lost, she looked overwhelmed. I asked her what the age was for senior & kids and she was not able to give me a straight answer me. After looking in the three rooms for a table we finally found a clean one, a lot of them were dirty and I couldn't find anyone to help clean. We went for our food and it tastes the same. You do have to wear gloves & they do provide them, when you serve yourself. There were plenty of pizza at all times. The fettuccine Alfredo was trash. Then we went for our drinks & surprise, there's NO ICE. It was a disaster. The women's restroom was a mess. When you entered the game room there was throw up! It was cleaned but it was after a lady with her stroller passed over it. The games were okay, the line to get the prizes was not organized at all. I probably will not be back soon. read more

Amazing personnel with great attitude and attention. Great variety of pizza, salads, and Pasta. The reason why we love to come here is that you can go up to pizza bar buffet and order what ever kind of pizza you like. I mean if you like 10 ingredients on your pizza they will happily make it and save it till you go back and ask if it's ready. Good place to bring the kids they have arcade game room with lots of fun games for all ages. For kids they have a special that you pay $5.99 for buffet and they get a 10 dollar game card win win. I hadn't been to Mr. Gatti's in years. It was always ok. My partner and I decided to give it another chance. The price was ok. The food was ok. The service was ok. The reason I am writing this review is because the food is not monitored properly. I went to get a salad. There was a child, about 5/6 years of age. He grabs a piece of Jello with his hand puts it in his other hand then drops it back in the Jello. I'm at a lost, no parent around or a employee. I see the employee that was refilling the salad bar and I tell her what happened. She has a talk with the child. I expect she got ride of the tray of Jello. read more

This place was so nasty and unkept. We went as an alternative to Chuck E. Cheese and we're thoroughly disappointed. Whoever owns this place invests zero money in maintaining it. 1. The floor of the Theater eating room was so sticky (shortly after they had just opened, so no excuse for it not being clean) that my shoes were making loud sounds and noticeably sticking with each step. I saw gunk on the floor, looked like red frosting. No parties around, though. Gross. 2. I would say 90% of the games were either out of order or not working properly. The games that were working were dated, and if they had a second player, usually the second player game didn't work. There were exposed wires in the Time Challenge game in the back right corner of the game room. There were two attendants that hardly spoke a word when asking for help. Even getting a card loaded with money was a problem. The machine did not dispense the second card, and it took awhile for the attendant to reset the machine. 3. The bathrooms were dirty, did not have toilet paper, and the driers are a bad idea, especially because small children are scared of loud noises. Paper towels would be better, but I don't know if the cleaning staff could handle that. It goes without saying, we won't be going back. read more

The bathrooms are dirty but it is a public place with kids so don't expect them to be clean. Food is 50/50 the pizza is good, but the spaghetti is eh. The games are fun I do not recommend the time bomb challenge one, it does not have much to it if you go. I do recommend the bumper cars tho they are very fun. They have 3 different rooms you can eat in one with a movie theater sized tv screen on the wall playing Disney shows. The second is a room with just tables and booths you know normal stuff that's quite good for the older guests. The third room is sports themed playing sports games with a movie screen sized tv on wall. I would recommend if you like pizza and games but do not get bothered by loudness and maybe not the cleanest place but it's good and it's part of my childhood and always will be. read more

We took our nephew here and could not be more unhappy with everything. It is very expensive, the pasta was very chewy, the pizza was ok (not worth what we paid). The management did not seem too concerned over anything. Broken lights in the restroom, no toilet paper, dirt and trash all over the floors, the "suggestion box" only had old pizza crust crumbs in it, no suggestion forms. Management seemed very comfortable leaning over the rail chatting with the employees. The arcade area seemed old, not too many new games, most were not working. There was a PS-3 as a prize. I didn't think they made PS-3's anymore. Several things not good in the arcade area. Overall, not a good experience at all. Our nephew was not too happy. Where to begin with, upon walking inside I reach to grab a plate and serve myself spaghetti. Immediately lost my appetite as I see this little kid reach in and grab a handful of spaghetti with his hands. I then reach over to grab a slice of pizza instead, the cheese on the pizza was too hard, as was the crust, so I move onto my next option, the cinnamon rolls, the icing was hard and salty, I just don't grab anything at all. I grab a cup and as I'm getting ready to pour soda in, I notice the remains of soda smudges at the very bottom, there were about 3 cups dirty that I noticed, all in all I just drank soda, didn't play any games with my niece because they were all full of smudges of either food or boogers, and the restrooms were really bad, compared to the other Mr.Gattis, the stalls were smudged with poop, the floor was sticky and filled with pee on certain areas, 3 out of the rest of the stalls were not supplied with toilet paper, or paper towels and the faucet handles were absolutely dirty with god knows what. It was a really bad experience, money gone to waste since my little niece and I didn't even eat or play any of the games. read more

My family and I arrived early around 4 PM, and the place was already a mess. There was no one to greet us, we probably could've gotten in for free. Both drink stations were filthy, one no ice. The pizza was fresh as the mgmt and crew kept pumping them out. It seems the managers only concern was what pizzas were needed though, ignoring the rest of the place. There is never enough crew members to keep the place clean. The bathrooms are never clean. Never (they need to install a riser for kids who can't reach the sink). I don't know if this is mgmts fault or corporate doesn't allow managers to hire the help they need. It was pretty slow and like this, imagine during a rush. The Gattisland room was okay, but about 15 percent of the games don't work properly or at all, and all of them need to be wiped down. I hate giving a bad review, but hopefully with enough of them this place will shape up. read more
