Yes, it is true-among the sea of bagels, pasta and pizza there is a "healthy" option. Which is covientlaty located near the gym. Good idea. However, I'm a little torn about this place to be honest. I love the green foods and smoothies however I think that this place has the potential to do better and that why I gave it a three stars. First, from the outside it doesn't look like much, I passed by it for almost 2 years and never new it was here. Then, there is the cash only option...and a ATM inside that charges 1.85 fee. And finally, the menu. It is a little confusing or maybe they are trying to do too much. You have boba tea, poke bowls and smoothies all served at Mr. Green. Who is this man? Now, the positives. I like the smoothies, decently priced and very fresh. I'm a Ginger and Greens fan. I like my smoothie also on the lukewarm side rather than brain freeze cold. I tried the Poke bowls, which you can also make a salad and burrito too. I love Poke bowls but this one just seemed a little underwhelming to me. They serve a lot of rice and a little skimpy on everything else. The guy ( I've only seen dudes) are nice and polite and keep the place clean. Overall? Mr. Green is amazing. I have tried other juice bars but they can not uphold the taste of freshness that Mr. Green has. Mr. Green is more on the expensive side but i promise you its so worth it . Nice place super clean but the bubble tea isn't real bubble tea. I've never had bubble tea that had huge square ice it should've been blended in. But the tea itself also just wasn't good. It has been a while since I reviewed on yelp, that is because I have been conquering the halls of Valhalla with my luscious beard and ever growing appetite for cooked meats and various types of booze. Honestly I haven't had time and I been slacking, but I had to take the time out of my pillaging of restaurants to review Mr. Green. It had occurred to me that my eating habits where not the best so my wife along with son insisted we try Mr green out so I did... several times....in 24 hours. I started out with the amazing , my wife had the passion green and my son had the tropical green. Jeezus they where really good and I felt a good energy after I drank the smoothies (I prefered the sleepy feeling after you destroy several plates of food but this is a start) I was energized and truly enjoyed it it's a start, the Amazing was creamy and very delicious I had the perfect balance of greens without one ingredient overpowering the taste of the other especially how kale tends to do if not portioned properly. My wife's drink was also very good, it gave me this feeling of being on a tropical island somewhere and all it was missing was some rum you can deffinelty taste the passion fruit in the drink. Earlier today I went in for a second round and had a greens n ginger smoothie along with an acai coco bowl. The greens and ginger smoothie was very good you can deffinelty taste the kick from the ginger which has so many health benefits to it, I didn't mind that at all I like ginger and the rest of the smoothie was very good you can taste the Apple and peach in the mix, the ginger makes you feel like a little furnace inside of you turned on and on a snowy day like today I'll take the extra heat. The acai bowl handled it's business and at the price point of $9.00 I asked myself should I really pay that much for it? My wife told me that Mr greens only uses organic fruits and veggies which kind of eased my mind as I paid the premium price point for a bowl of fruits. When I finally sat down to eat it I understand why it would be a little higher in price they pretty much load it up with banana orange kiwi berries pineapple granola and acai it's pretty loaded and taste really good I wish I would have gone there in the summer because that bowl is very refreshing and doesn't weigh you down like a bacon egg and cheese does (I will always love bacon eggs and cheese) overall Mr green is a little pricey but well worth it if you are trying to eat healthier, the staff is very helpful and will gladly offer you an opinion on what to try, and they keep the place spotless Mr green I give you two thumbs up we deffinelty needed another place with healthier options in this area it helps people make better decisions, thank you for your time. read more
