I ordered their Iced Coffee x light milk and egg salad croissant sandwich. The cold drink was very refreshing and perfectly made to my liking. As for the food, it was decent enough to get my energy up. Cafe's interior was modest with few tables and very spacious. Staff were attentive and industrious. Prices were fairly inexpensive. I happened to pass by this cafe on Saturday and did a U-turn to stop in. It was huge and I've never seen it before (well I don't frequent Rockaway blvd so I guess that's why ℓoℓ). Anyway, the decor is too cute, it's clean. And after speaking to the staff they say that all proceeds go to fighting injustices of the world. Let's get to the goodies tho. Must try coffee shop on Rockaway. Vast menu with delicious drinks and food. Ample setting which is good as you can sit and enjoy your purchase. Only issue the day I visited is that they seemed short staffed. Toast was not toasted and I ordered whole wheat toast and was given plain white bread what seemed soaked in butter. The eggs were not very good either. Ate at this cute little cafe near JFK airport after coming in on a red-eye flight. It's in an old neighborhood within a mixture of businesses. The menu is limited, but the offerings cover many breakfast cravings. My family and I ordered a bagel and scrambled eggs, a veggie omelet and an Eiffel Tower crepe that had strawberries and Nutella. Everyone was happy with their breakfasts. Flavors of the food were good and service was happy and helpful. It was a nice place to stop in after a long flight. Walked in here on a Saturday morning around 9am, and to my surprise the establishment was packed! Lots of people enjoying breakfast. That can only say one thing, the place is good! And yes it was. I tried my all time favorite coffee, caramel latte and they did a great job at it. My husband had a caramel ice coffee and my son had the Nutella late both also very nice. As far as food goes we had a BLT on a croissant, waffles with eggs and bacon and a sausage egg & cheese on a everything bagel all three Super yummy and fresh! The place is super cute, small but feels very homey. The staff are all very nice and welcoming. What a great little spot! We were looking for some brunch food near our hotel and the cafe is about a 10 minute walk from several large hotels (Hilton, Marriott, Crown Plaza). Such friendly staff and we were so pleased with the food! We ordered a snickerdoodle latte, pumpkin spice latte, regular waffle, and the pancake plate with scrambled eggs and sausage. Randomly saw this spot on the way to a job, and had to stop. Really liked this place from the moment I stepped in. They had a great coffee menu with some different things than most typical coffee shops would have. I went with the Eskimo brew and it was delicious. I tried to escape without grabbing a desert but the tres leches was calling my name. It was one of the best tres leches that I've had in a long time. I'm assuming they do the baking there, my hats off to them. I get that at every restaurant I go to and there are a few spots that compare. Honestly well done. Loved this place. It's being operated by the Church next door and they donate most of the proceeds to charitable causes(including all tips). Coffee was great, atmosphere was awesome and food was really good. It's very cozy and inviting. If you're anywhere near the area, it's a must visit. A friend of ours, on a one-night lay over flight at JFK, found this little gem via an online search, and asked us to meet her there for breakfast (we live in Nassau County). Our party of 3 ordered (1) Waffles, Bacon, & Egg (mine!), (2) Red Velvet Waffle, and (3) Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a bagel with coffees and a tea. Let me tell you it was the best waffle I've had in my entire life and I told them so! The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are excellent! I'm not even sure how they could be better. I also love that this is a Christian coffee shop and their proceeds go towards mission trips. The cafe itself is rather small but has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The only thing that kept this from a 5 is that the service can be very delayed. We waited 30 mins for 2 coffees and 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches with only 2 other people in the cafe. Other than that, we loved it here and will come back next time we are in Queens! read more
