We initially called on a Saturday morning and spoke to Shawn to see if they even had the proper staff to check out our car. He communicated that they could check it out and do a diagnostic and see if we just needed a transmission flush. Well, they got halfway through the diagnostic and trying to drive the car and knew it was a lot worse than we had hoped. Although we did not get the transmission fixed by the team here, I had a very good experience. Shawn was exceptional in communicating with us from start to finish, was very honest and accommodating with helping us out. Because they did not even finish the full diagnostic, Shawn even only charged us half the original price. I would highly recommend Shawn and the team here.

Steve explained that they don't normally work on Saturdays but because we were in a bind, he would call one of his employees to see if he could do our brakes for us. Sure enough the employee came in and replaced all the brakes on our truck in a very short amount of time. We felt that we received excellent service and were treated very fairly with the price. The best part came when Steve's young nephew brought us each a handmade sign that said "have a nice day". That note really made everything better! Thanks Pit Shop for keeping us safe on the road!

My car collected dust in his shop for 3 years, with very little progress. He had no problem asking for more money but flatly refused on many occasions to provide an invoice justifying his charges to date (which is illegal in Nevada). $7,500 and 3 years later, I had him drop off my car and parts and am moving on to a professional shop. Lack of progress and transperency as required by law was by far not the worst of it. He demanded more money in January (still no invoice for the $7,500 spent to date mind you) and when I failed to come in first week of February as promised he berated me in text and said he didn't have time for my "games". I apologized and explained my wife had a serious spinal injury and was having surgery the following day. I asked him again for an invoice and and said I'd be down as soon as my wife was out of the hospital. I also told him I resented his tone and asked for professional courtesy. He messaged me a few days later and said to get my car out of his shop. He told me he didn't give a sh!t about my "personal problems". Nice, right? When I went down to the shop he was even worse. Cussed at me, yelled at me, I honestly began to wonder if he was going to try to hit me. At that point I just took my losses and had him drop off the car. I don't want to give anyone with that bad of an attitude my business. Stay away. Very unpleasant man with zero business acumen. By the way, never got that invoice. What an entitled jerk! And Doug, if you're reading this and want to come for me for slander, remember, if it's true it's protected speech and I have all the texts still!
