They sent a text with pictures of what they found and explained anything/everything I asked about. Again, very much appreciated! I ended up needing new lower front rocker arms & bushings. They also performed an alignment (due to rocker arm replacement) oil change, tire balance & rotation and replaced the engine filter. I could see it was needed based on photos sent via the text. Jake found a replacement kit that included arms and bushings which saved me some money. Yay They also found the tires had been rotated improperly for an AWD. I called to make an appointment for fluid exchanges as my car is nearing 90,000 miles. Before they scheduled the fluid exchanges I requested, they offered to do research to look into my specific make, model, and year to ensure that the items I was asking for would be due and pertinent. They called back within 10 minutes, gave me the research the found, and suggested a transmission exchange service and brake fluid exchange. I dropped my car the morning of my appointment and they were done before 2:00. This is the first car shop I've been to that doesn't smell of oil and tires. And the men behind the counter were dressed nicely in button down shirts with ties. They explained what the services would entail and what they should help with. And boy did my car sound and drive better than she has in a while! I recently went online to schedule an oil change and it was the easiest scheduling platform I've used. So I scheduled a 9:00 am appointment for a diagnosis. Took the day off. I got there at 8;45 am. They told me they could not diagnose it till 3:00 pm. I showed them my email with a 9:00am appointment They said, oh most people just drop their car off. Their appointments have no meaning. English words have meaning but not to them. I'm sure you can't tell them most businesses just give me the bill and I pay it later in the afternoon

My car was ready in about 75 minutes. I'll take it. I had a simple brake fluid flush. My car was returned clean (no greasy finger prints), the service light was reset and my brakes performed as expected. I reached out to several mobile mechanics through Yelp on Thursday evening, and Jim was the only one who responded initially. He was able to schedule us for Saturday afternoon, which was critical since we were supposed to head home that day. Another shop didn't have availability until Monday and the other high rated mobile mechanic was out of town. Because of storm-related commute issues earlier in the week, Jim ended up arriving around 4pm instead of noon. Totally understandable given the conditions. He worked outside in freezing weather and never complained once. Jim was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. He was great with my wife, my son, and even let our dogs jump on him and give him kisses. Despite the tough conditions, he got the job done and got us safely back on the road with a solid new CV axle so we could make it home as planned. I'd hire Jim again in a heartbeat.
