    Reg Romanburger to go
    Kevin M.

Stopped in to pick up a family lunch. Haven't visited a Mr Hero in 45 or so years due to where we were living associated with military/civil service. I ordered a Roman Burger, my wife their Chicken Pita, and a Hot Buttered Cheesesteak for Mom and her partner. We also ordered an order fried pickles and loaded tots to round it out. We downloaded the app but wanted to walk in a peruse the menu. Audrey took our order and I wanted to get the points for the order. Twice Audrey disavowed any knowledge of the app saying she needed to scam the loyalty barcode to get us our points; however, she didn't know how to get it or where it was on the app. I looked fairly thoroughly and couldn't find it. She advised we could call the phone number noted on the receipt. Audrey's lack of assistance and the growing line behind made me move on. Too bad the app wasn't more intuitive or their employees more knowledgeable. Though the food was average, the experience was less...2 stars. Probably will continue to drive to Ontario to get Jersey Mike's and their Shore Points!

$32.20 order and received no food.

Wish I could give this place a zero. I placed an order on their app, received a order confirmation, went to pick up the order and the Manager told me there was no order. I confirmed I was at the correct location, I verified the pending charge on my bank app. She once again refused to give me my order. She said the order "failed" and that the pending charge would not go thru since the order failed. Guess what happens next. The DID go thru. I went back to speak to Manager and she said "call Corporate" there is nothing I can do. Never once apologized, never offered to replace my order, never offered to look into why this happened. Never use the Mr Hero app to place your order. Horrible experience.

A Slice Above--This Tower Leans Right Into Your Heart (and Arteries)…read moreLet me tell you, the Leaning Tower of Pizza doesn't just lean... it lunges at your taste buds like a carb-loaded ninja with marinara on its hands. We rolled in hungry, and left questioning if we should update our wills to include pizza rights. The lineup: A Large Meats pizza that looked like it bench-pressed smaller pizzas for fun. A Medium Pep & Sausage with white sauce--or as I like to call it, "Garlic Oil's Greatest Hits." A Personal Pep & Sausage, because someone said "I'm not hungry" and then ate half the large. Three Subs that could double as home security devices: A Meatball Sub that came in like a wrecking ball (Miley Cyrus not included). An Original with Double Meat--they doubled the meat and tripled our joy. And the Pizza Sub, which basically said, "Why should pizza have all the fun? Put it on a bun." The service? Absolutely top-notch. Friendly, fast, and they didn't flinch when we ordered like we were feeding a small village. The food? Delicious. Cheesy. Meaty. Saucy. The Leaning Tower of Pizza isn't just a name--it's a culinary landmark that should probably have its own zip code. Would eat again. Would unbutton pants in advance. Would tell others, just like I'm telling you now. Grazie, Tower. You leaned... and we fell.

They just keep placing another brisket on, and the ribbons of beef keep falling. The order counter is tiny, with a line out the door: regulars, tourists like me, and food delivery drivers all waiting their turn. There are meat trimmings everywhere, tubs of pickles, and the sense that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they are doing. The small dining room is packed with people sitting elbow to elbow, gripping massive sandwiches with stadium mustard in the corners of their mouths. It is loud, cramped, messy, and glorious. I've gone to heaven.

I joined the line just before 11 and got inside about 11:50 AM. I'm currently standing in line waiting on my sandwich which is a corned beef melt. I ordered a corned beef melt, which is toasted rye, cornbeef, double Swiss cheese - hot & melted with Kraut on the side and dressing. I got a side of potato pancakes, and also coleslaw. The folks were extremely friendly on the inside, very welcoming and very efficient as they worked to make who knows how many meals. And you'll be glad to know every sandwich comes with a dill pickle, wrapped in its own paper and ready for delicious consumption! The dill is a big deal to me because I like spears, as in the pickle not necessarily (in this case) the pop star! Come early and be ready to wait! The place is really kitchsy and has a great atmosphere. And the folks really make it awesome to be there. It has the feel of a destination restaurant the kind of place that is an experience to visit not just because of the food because of the culture and the people and the phenom that it has become.

It was a smaller store front, cozy and a hidden gem! The restaurant has so much personality, with years of awards proudly displayed throughout the dining room. Before the food even arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. We started with the Bistro Onion Soup and the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque. French onion soup and lobster bisque are two of my all-time favorites, so my expectations were high. The Bistro Onion Soup absolutely delivered--rich, flavorful broth, perfectly tender onions, and an incredible blanket of melted cheese. Easily one of the best onion soups I've ever had. The Red Pepper Lobster Bisque was equally memorable. The sweetness of the roasted red peppers paired beautifully with the lobster, creating a unique twist that really worked. My husband and older son both ordered the Momma Mia. A spaghetti sandwich? We were intrigued! My son gave it a 9/10 and said it tasted like a lasagna sandwich. He'd order it again without hesitation. My youngest chose Ziggy the Piggy and declared it "the best sandwich I've ever had." That's high praise from a 10-year-old! He gave it a perfect 10/10, and the sandwich was nearly as big as his head. Honestly, reading the menu made us want to come back just to try everything else. Every item sounded delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake, and it made us feel right at home. If you're passing through--or even if you're not--Zuppaman is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.
