The half pan $25 Greek salad was very minimal, no tomatoes, no cucumber, no peperoncini, no olives... just lettuce, beets, chick peas and feta. And they forgot the salad dressing. Yummy yummy. There are a lot of Mediterranean options in the area with places like Lentil, and Kalamata and while they are all similar in many ways Mr. Kabob is my favorite. Set up is basically build your own. You can choose a wrap, salad or bowl and your protein and build from there. I opt for chicken shawarma and load it up with hummus, garlic spread, quinoa, lots of veggies and taziki sauce. So damn good! At Mr. Kabob they let you literally put whatever you want on your bowl and as much as you want! There's no up charge for feta or hummus, you get what you want! Which is awesome, and delicious! I had Mr. Kabob Xpress cater my daughter's grad party yesterday, June 23, and the delivery and set up was fantastic and I love the fact that they do half trays so you can put two trays in one chafing dish at a time and they are also easy to store because they are smaller than a full tray of food. Decent express build a bowls or pita sandwiches. We got 2 veggie bowls and loaded up with tons of veggies, I got the jalapeño cilantro hummus and my husband had his on top of red pepper hummus. Added some iceberg lettuce since the ban on E. coli ridden romaine hasn't been lifted yet. I added every veggie possible and added the crumbled feta and dressed it with fatoosh dressing. I got the recovery juice, since I felt I needed a boost after my wallet took a pummel at Somerset. I went in to get carry out today. We ordered two bowls one vegetarian and one chicken for myself and my wife. When we got home and started eating the meal it felt like we were eating dirt intermixed with the food. There was this horrible crunching sensation as though some of the vegetables had not been washed and had been prepared without being properly cleaned. The meals were both completely inedible and we had to throw away all of our food because it was just way too irritating to be able to eat properly. I have been to this location and other locations multiple times and this has never happened before. Please be sure to clean the parsley before serving. That was the likely culprit On July 9,2020: Sam was quick to reply and found that the parsley was the culprit in my past experience. He credited two bowls to my account pretty quickly which I used today. The food was clean and tasty. It was the usual experience I have at Mr. Kabobs, which is usually awesome! Second time here. Got the shawarma bowl. It's a descent bowl. However, the shawarma has a burnt taste to it and it's over cooked. The service is fast and staff is friendly. Ambiance is casual. I've had bowls from other places such as "The great greek" and "Ten 11" and they are much better and the meat is great. I hope they improve, maybe I'll try back in a few months but there are other spots that are better in my opinion. read more

This place is delicious, clean, fast and even Halal! I got a bowl with a smear of garlic sauce, bed of lettuce, pickled beets, grilled vegetables, peppers, feta cheese and then topped off with Lamb Gyro. Their menu online is a bit misleading, and when you arrive at the beginning of the Chipotle-style restaurant you will be in for a pleasant surprise. For just 9 dollars, I got garlic sauce, tabbouleh salad, 4 grape leaves, cucumbers, pickled turnips, tzatziki sauce, rice, 3 side pieces of pita, beets, chickpeas, and tomatoes. Originally, from the menu online, I thought my order would have costed $13-14. They really make sure to stuff your bowl here, which I appreciate. The lady who was helping me build my bowl was pretty helpful at helping explain what I could add to my bowl. One of my least favorite things about going to new places is when waitstaff makes you feel "dumb" about not knowing what certain menu items are or when you're unfamiliar with the policies and how a restaurant is run. The ingredients are always fresh, the meats and grilled veggies well cooked, the place is very clean (not always a given in these Covid days with limited staff), and speaking of the staff...always ver my pleasant and accommodating to whatever mix and match toppings you'd like. One great thing about this place versus so many of the other Mediterranean build-your-own bowl/wrap places is that you don't have to just pick one base or one grain or one salad topping...you pretty much have free reign of the toppings more like what Mod Pizza and Blaze offer for pizzas. The portion/price ratio is very good for such good quality food. I noticed two bowls of chicken sitting next to the register, which is what i wanted, and was informed that those were for the employees. I have worked at a place like this before, and i hate when customers come in when we're closing, but I've always served them. This is the exact reason why I called well before closing time to place my order. These people were beyond lazy, not to mention the two male employees sitting at a table playing on their phones. This place was cleaned and ready to close probably an hour before the actual closing time. The best part...
