He listened to my HVAC problem story and then went right to work. I watched him work and engaged in conversation when appropriate! He explained everything he was doing and even showed me some things that were not done correctly! It tuns out he and I had a very similar background as both he and I are Veteran's! He was professional and thorough and had nearly (if I recall correctly), 40 years of experience in the HVAC trades. All together the service call was only $75 and for what he did for me and the time he spent here, it was money well spent! They did decent work for us but both Ryals bros and SRM concrete left us with over $3900 in damages…read moreand know one ever took responsibility. Ryals bros said SRM should pay for it and SRM concrete says they don't need to take care of it. Both companies blame the other. I was told by Caleb that he doesn't think it's fair to hold a company he uses for concrete responsible since it's the only concrete company they have. SRM says we are too big to care. While we sit here with a 3k bill from Georgia power and 1k in driveway damages. Basically the SRM guy couldn't drive his concrete truck backwards. First he tore up our yard. Then while backing up he crushed our driveway drainage pipe. When a company came to fix it we found he had pinched our main power line to the house! So upon removal of the drain pipe the whole neighborhood flashed and we lost power. So almost 4k later in damages we now have 2 companies that work together but won't hold one responsible for it. I don't get it. I wouldn't use a company to represent my company that refuses to take responsibility in their own work. Companies don't care these days. This is proof. Screw the little guys. It's was only $3900 in damages which is "chump change" to them. We spent 24k on work. All concrete. I even bought them lunch everyday! ‍

We were told by a different ac company it might be the heater element, which can be expensive. When Greg showed up he wanted to look at the thermostat, and I mentioned that the fan never stops blowing. He went to the unit and started working and within an hour he had the heater working just by replacing a circuit board and fan relay. I was apprehensive about what the cost might be and pleasantly surprised to pay less than $210. So if anyone needs HVAC work done I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Price Busters!

The first service call was…read moreperformed a week or two ago, but I was consulted about replacing a part that still worked, which I chose not to, although the units parts were still under warranty. He could have replaced them for the service charge but didn't and what do I know about air conditioner parts? Then, shortly, this is in June, the early days of summer. another AC failure on a Saturday night. Calling in a service request was met with a full mail box. I called first thing Monday morning and wasn't able to talk to somebody for 30 minutes for the service call which didn't arrive until late in the afternoon, where it was pronounced the part another part had failed, and that he would get the previously injured part to replace that too. The part he did replace cost $192, for a unit guaranteed for 10 years (still under warranty). By the way, you don't get to see the invoice until you pay it. He returned Tuesday and replaced the previously injured part, charged $160 for the service call, the system blew cold over night and failed the next morning. He came back the next day and replaced the dryer, and charged me $569.00 (not itemized although a dryer was replaced) for almost a couple of hours work, tops. Well comes the following Saturday night, and it failed again. The same tech did all this. He is rude, his pants hang down below his ass, he was speaking to some woman on cell in speaker mode almost the whole time he was working, and to justify the price he said to the effect that I live in a nice house and he lives in a shack; is that like white privilege or something. I don't know. I guess that Bart has retired and is no longer involved with the company or the market allows for bad service and he just does not care. I requested a working AC on the system I purchase 7 years ago whose compressor was already replaced once and I pay a semi annual fee to be maintained. The quality was trash, and there was no value in being inconvenienced, and the astonishing claim from that technician that he as performed a valuable service for the value of the money I paid. I pay for protection, but the providers are incompetent.

This company does NOT have their employees working on a commission basis...and they are extremely honest as well as very knowledgeable. I originally scheduled an AC maintenance…read moreappointment, but on the day of service, after waiting 4.5 hours with no communication at all, I finally received a call saying the technician would not arrive until another 2.5 hours after my scheduled time window. I was understanding about the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week after being promised I would be the first appointment of the day to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was just as frustrating. With only 15 minutes left in my 8 AM-1 PM appointment window, I still had not heard from anyone and had to contact the company myself. Instead of accountability, I was given excuse after excuse about why the technician did not arrive first as promised. I was even told their internet was down, which was supposedly why nobody contacted me. The lack of communication and reliability from this company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down a business for updates on scheduled services. The only positive part of my experience was the technician himself--he was professional and did a great job. If he freelanced, I would absolutely hire him directly in the future. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service and repeated scheduling issues, I will not be using 3HAC again.
