I had called probably 2 months prior to our arrival at our home in Dunedin. The day prior I…read morereceived a text confirming my appointment that I had totally forgotten about as I didn't put it on my calendar. They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings.

My new HVAC system was installed just months ago, and my technician showed me why fogging the vents was necessary. They had quoted $500 for fogging and recommended an additional UV bulb. Bulb installations typically cost $200-$1,000. Air Flo's technician also recommended fogging and installing a UV bulb. The total cost for fogging, bulb installation, air ducts + dryer vent cleaning was $699 out the door. The important thing to remember is Florida's high humidity requires extra equipment to prevent bacteria, mold, mildew, etc. Older HVAC systems may not have a UV bulb, which prevents bio growth. Vents need a bulb too, since growth happens outside the AC unit as well. Once everything's installed and cleaned properly, coupons for $89.99 cleanings once per year are well worth it.

Derek, the estimate technician who arrived at my home on April 23rd, was knowledgeable and addressed my questions and offered options. He was at my home for over two hours! He offered me several options, without pressuring me, simply explaining the benefits of each option. His willingness to explore my request to remove current water outflow pipe that had been on the garage floor for decades, presenting a safety risk, and route it another way outside was taken seriously and creatively. This company installed our A/C and, ever since, this system has been giving us problems multiple times a year. After some research, I decided to call another company. Barry from Blue Bear came out and conducted a very thorough evaluation. He laid out all of our options clearly and showed us pictures and discovered our whole house filter wasn't changed by the previous company for a very long time, even though we have a maintenance plan.
