If they probed and at least emphasized with me, I wouldn't mind. They ended up putting me on the spot of how irresponsible I am. I don't know their system, how they work, or how valuable the booking system is. I understand they have reasonable prices and maybe their technicians are remarkable, but now I will never know since obviously customer service is not a must at the front desk.

(in order of interaction ... not importance) ... 1) I live outside of Toronto, up on the Canadian Shield ... about a 4 hour drive distance to the north-east of the Toronto area. After multiple local attempts to resolve an issue with exhaust system on my vehicle, I was finally referred to Majestic Muffler in the Toronto region. 2) ... The receptionist ... (a title that fails to reflect how very much more she actually is) is so very welcoming, helpful and kind to any customer that walks in the door ... actually, even before their entry, so attentive, aware is she! ... 3) Those "speed demon" blue-scaled fish in the "large" aquarium that sits in the customer waiting area provide an unending source of entertainment (and amusement) for customers ... seriously, they are quite something! 4) The "other customers", who like unto me, all sit together in a common waiting area which permitted me to engage in conversation and interaction with them, which I must confess, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. 5) ... TONY ... The proprietor/owner/manager of this business? (not sure) ... A man of "old school" honour, a rare commodity in this day and age, should truth be told, "honour" ... and that it should be found in the manager/owner? of the business "Majestic Muffler" ... such a very welcome and unexpected surprise. How did I luck upon this? Let's just say it was very good fortune bestowed upon me by the circumstance of events! Yes, I am going to go on about TONY for a while ... 1.1) He took me into the garage work area, brought me under my vehicle that was held on high by a lift, then pointed out the earlier attempts made to provide some temporary relief for the exhaust issues at hand, but which ultimately failed ... 1.2) He actually showed me and explained in detail, ALL of the "new" parts that he would use to address the problem with my exhaust system. He waited my agreement and approval before continuing further. 1.3) Tony maintains an open "office space" - his office space (desk) is actually within the customer waiting area ... on full view and earshot by the customers ... what this means is that all business transactions conducted are on full display and listened to by all customers --- which is what? ... absolute "transparency", no "hidden" business dealings, all things are above board! And, because of this, I even witnessed a point in time when Tony went "more than an extra mile" to try to help a woman from being "legally" and "unjustly" screwed by the ... LAW! ... of all things! So very impressive this! 1.4) Tony does NOT suffer "fools" readily or gladly, owing to the uprightness in his character ... a rare quality greatly appreciated and which I suspect may partly explain the few "absurdly" NEGATIVE reviews I notice have been UNJUSTLY submitted on this web page. 6) "Majestic Muffler" ... thumbs up all the way! ... When I returned with proof, Majestic Muffler suddenly changed their story, claiming the noise had been from the front--completely contradicting the two other professionals I'd consulted. This is classic deflection to dodge a warranty claim. They didn't fix the issue, didn't take accountability, and clearly hoped I'd just go away. If you value honesty, accountability, and basic competence--go somewhere else that will not scam you.
