I ran upstairs to find gushing water coming from a pipe behind the toilet. We we're able to shut off the main water valve quickly but that meant we had no water to the whole house until the busted valve was fixed. There was also leaking water coming out the ceiling and leaking into the living room below. After several calls with our different property managers, they finally sent out Kevin to help. Kevin came in, saw the child in my arms and the first thing he said was "why didn't they call me sooner if you have a child here!" and I completely agreed! Kevin got straight to work and was very open with us that the pipes in this house are polybutylene which were banded in the 90s due to many lawsuits of them bursting. Kevin let us know that he was completing a quick fix and that he is going to talk to our Property Manager directly about having the pipes in the house changed. Kevin gave us his business card and said to call him right away if we have any other problems. My fiancé and I sat down to finally relax and the crash and rushing water started again! I called Kevin straight away and he turned around and came right back! (This is all happening after 7:00pm). Kevin replaced some piping and talked us through everything he did. He even gave us advice about the drywall that was currently leaking into buckets in the living room below. Even to mention that he would come and replace part of the damaged drywall if the leaking had caused structural damage. Furthermore, he conveyed that he would be willing to to accommodate our schedules to complete the job so that we would not miss out on our daytime work hours. Kevin let us know he tried working things out with our landlord but they decided they don't want to fix the pipes. He definitely went to bat for us when we felt like our property managers weren't listening to our concerns. Follow up review for our initial issue of needing our pipes snaked. After the issue persisting, we…read morehad scheduled a day to have the lines hydrojetted but due to scheduling they weren't able to service our pipes that day. They did offer a complimentary snake to get us by until a day that worked better for them and ourselves. During the snaking, Zach did pull back a bit root ball and discovered we did indeed have root invasion problems, which he offered replacing a section of the pipes as a solution. We were given ample time to mull over the info between hydrojetting or replacing. Since hydrojetting was a temporary fix, we opted for the pipe replacement, during which they would descale the existing pipes once given access during replacement. They also offered to add in an additional clean out location outside the home in case we have issues in the future. They showed up on the scheduled day ready to work. Despite a small hiccup which delayed them being able to start, once they did they worked through the day to finish the job. They communicated clearly as they started each step, making sure to show me how the descaling worked in a removed part of the pipe as well as where the roots were invading. They also put back the dirt and removed portion of sidewalk the best the ground would allow, also leaving some extra dirt so that it would settle more level as time passes. I am very pleased to have found Priority Plumbing for these services. It can be a real headache to deal with these issues, but they were easy to work with and very quick to respond to any of our communications. I will continue to contact them in the event we have other issues in the future!

When asked why they don't provide this, they say they are a service company and this allows them to avoid collecting sales tax. I don't know what that means. The quality of the work was very good and the person was very courteous. Based on the hours worked, I do feel like I was way overcharged and the lack of a detailed invoice may allow them to charge whatever they want at their discretion. My error was not scrutinizing from the beginning because I just wanted the work done. Lesson learned for me but proceed with caution.

Him and I text a lot about other things a as well like the new Renei tankless water heater and the HVAC. He told me to install the new remote it would be about 200 dollars. So we move in and we find out he passed away. So I ask how much would it be to install the remote in our new house and that it is just like the other one in our old house. I was told in a text about $150-$250. I scheduled for the Tuesday after Veterans Day because we are both veterans. They no show us. No call at all. I was told the next day that they texted me and I did t respond. If you have an appointment with someone, and your not going , pick up the phone and call. So they then reschedule and one would think it would be the next day. NOPE, it was 8 days later. So the guy comes out and asks where the logs are? Since I have had this before I know you don't need the logs to install this. Lowe's didn't have the logs in Oct when I started looking and I got the kit on Amazon. I googled it and they had it at Lowe's. So while he was doing the install, he told me this will take an hour and that it will be in time to put them in. When I got back he was still working one because he said he was having a hard figuring out where to put the gas line. He then asked, do you want to put the logs I. Or do you want me to do. I figured since he no showed me, let them do it. I was having him come out the following week for the one outside. I ask to pay and he said no will put both on the same bill. Ok I get a bill the following day for 400 dollar! Not what we discussed so of course I questioned if this was for the two of them. They said no. For one. They said they would do the second one for $175. If the next one is $175 then both should be. AND it the bill is not in the range that I was told then someone should have called me before the guys started if they were told it was a different than what they came there to do. Their excuse to me is that they thought this was a replacement. If I have been a customer for YEAR, and I now have a new house with a new address this is a new kit. PLUS, I sent them a picture of the new kit I purchased. Buyer BEWARE! They will bill you more money if they think you have the extra income to pay for it. Just because we can afford it doesn't mean we should be ripped off nor does it mean you charge me more after you quoted me without my knowledge. We paid our bill and they lowered it to what I was quoted however, they refused to do the second fireplace and made sure to send me email as to this being my fault not theirs.
