So, we came here last night because we have been craving good Vietnamese food. I read some reviews and was like... "hmmm... OK, lets give it a shot!" I will be honest, I was skeptical at first, only because they didn't bring the highchair like we had requested, and my husband had to end up getting it himself... so at the very beginning I was worried it was a sign of things to come. Boy did my opinion change. This place was wonderful. Service was on par, food was AMAZING. I had the Shaking Beef, my friend had the Grilled Pork Vermicelli bowl, my Husband had beef pho, my two kids gobbled up their chicken pho, and we all shared spring rolls. The broth was outstanding, so fresh and flavorful. My beef was like BUTTER I cut it with my fork. I can't recommend this place enough. This place is awesome, foodwise. The waitress was a little less than helpful and kids were running around messing with stuff (probably bc they're staff kids and on summer break)...it was sorta annoying. Wow, authentic Northern Vietnamese Ph. Mr. Ph gave me such a pleasant surprised with their food ever since I came there a few weeks ago and have been back multiple times. I even host a private dinner for 70 after hour. What I tried so far there: * Ph fillet, meatballs, tripe - so good. The deeply rich beef broth balanced with seasons was so perfect that I did not need any hoisin sauce. (I did put a little fish sauce to my bowl to balance the sweetness). The pickled garlic was a nice additional taste that I have not seen before. My buddies love to sip the savory broth to the bottom of the bowl. Lol. * Fried Rice- very flavorful. It was full of different meats, shrimps, sautéed onions, scallions and black pepper. Topped with a nicely fried egg. The chewy rice was NOT clumpy or too moist. Only thing was I added a little extra hot sauce to my liking. * yogurt drink- my oh my. This is definitely Viet yogurt. My wife and my guest loved it. Said it was such refreshing unlike any other drink. Must try. I held a private dinner for my guests and they did an incredible job at hosting. The food was different than the normal menu and my guests were very impressed. What we ordered: * grilled meat spring roll - everyone loved it! I agree it was so good along with the special fish sauce. I sipped the extra fish sauce to the last drop. Yes it was that good! * asparagus purée soup- wow! Refreshing and just perfect to start the meal. * grilled: steak, salmon or shrimps with garlic butter pasta were so good some of our guests asked for extra. (I don't know how but I could finish my steak since it was a large 14 oz.) The service every time I came were super friendly and super attentive. I got a chance to meet the owner, Kenny, and his partner - Yen. They sure love and very proud of their cooking. This is a generous 3, not sure I would return. My waiter had an attitude. The atmosphere is nice except the music is waaay too LOUD. Asked them to turn it down twice but they didn't. Vermicelli was ok, but one piece of pork was fat. Fish sauce has a little kick to it. Peanut sauce needs work, tastes like peanut butter, was too thick and just not right. read more

Had the Vermicelli with Bbq chicken and it was amazing! My meal was served hot but the egg rolls were cold so the waiter was nice enough to bring us a full order/fresh batch right out of the fryer. They were delicious. The staff were very nice and accommodating and encouraged us to try the house special Phô next time and also informed us that their establishment uses no MSG, which is nice to hear! Some of the best pho I've ever had, which is really saying something because we live in Houston. Broth was very flavorful and fragrant, and the portion was generous, especially for the price. So glad we tried Mr. Pho tonight! We had the spring rolls which were amazing- the owner told us there is a person that just makes spring rolls. He had just made the peanut sauce & suggested we add some sriracha to give it a kick- we did, it was so good. Then we had Pho- the broth is cooked for 20 hours! All bone broth- no msg, no powder broths. It was the best I've had in a while. We have definitely found our new spot for pho in Cypress. Oh- we also tried the Banh Mi (grilled pork) it was super yummy too. The food was fantastic & so was the service. My office had a dinner here for 50-60 people and it was a great experience. One of the owners, Kenny, and his staff were so kind, caring and accommodating! We were using a pre-set dinner menu and I was the only vegan in the group but Kenny and his staff were gracious enough to whip up a tofu spring roll appetizer and tofu & veggie vermicelli noodle dish for me on the spot. Both were delicious! The food is great and the staff genuinely cares about you and your experience at their restaurant.
