The last of my sandwich before I devoured it

Omg the best bbq pork sandwich I have ever had The flavor and amount of meat and vegetables on top of flavor was beyond perfection if you add a egg believe me you will thank me later ...

This photo is a picture of #11 on there menu

Was Delicious! Considering it was a Friday at 5 when we arrived I expected it to be busy since the yelp reviews were good but we were seated promptly upon arrival. The egg rolls were crispy and were a great start to the course. Personally I ordered the #11 which was a beef and noodle bowel and I asked to see if bok choy could be added to the bowel. If you like your food with a hint of spice the chili oil they provided was also an amazing addition to add more flavor to the already seasoned broth. I enjoyed every bite of my meal and plan to return sometime in the near future.

This is by far my favorite Pho place!! Sooooo yummy service is always a 10/10! Love the way this restaurant is set up, a calm dine in area!!

We've seen this location change ownership several times in the past few years. We arrived on a Saturday around noon and there was one other table with customers there. Upon sitting, we looked at menu and ordered immediately. We ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Thai Tea, 4 Grilled Pork Rolls, 2 Combo Pho and 1 Bun Bo Hue. Thai Tea was light and watered down. Pho broth was dark color and had no flavor. Bun Bo Hue lacked flavor, wasn't spicy and didn't have huyet or gio heo. The pork rolls were average and they were the best thing about the entire meal. Adding to the sub par food is poor customer service, as the servers sat texting while we waited to get their attention for our check and to-go boxes. It was a horrible first impression and we will not be back.

Fried scallops and fried rice, with garlic ginger sauce.

Very impressed they had so many options on their menu, considering their name led me to think they were only a pho place. They had rice platters, bo né, vermicelli noodles, and traditional and non traditional dishes. They even had French fries as an option instead of steam rice or fried rice! Thought that was pretty awesome of them to be different than other pho restaurants! I had the fried scallops and fried rice which came with garlic ginger sauce, and a bed of bok choy. I was very impressed with the taste, however the fried rice needs improvement. My husband had their pho tai and had no complaints. The interior is quite nice as well and I love the somewhat rustic theme they are going for. The service was fair, and I'm sure they are still working out some kinks. I will definitely come back and try other things on their menu!

My coworker ordered at 12:06 for 12:30 as well.

Ridiculous I scheduled a 12:30 pick up, got here at 12:45 and was told 15 more minutes. It's 1:10, I voiced my issue and still nothing. Businesses should shut down online orders if they cannot fulfill them. This is for Pho of all things. What do you possibly need to take that long for? I see orders coming out left and right and I'm just standing there. Update: I have added pick up screenshots for two of those orders. Again, I arrived at 12:45. I didn't get my food until 1:15 AFTER this review and that's because I finally walked back up after waiting the 15+ additional minutes plus 15 more, 30 total. We all made sure to order ahead for 12:30 so they would all be ready. I arrived back with two cold orders because two were sitting there for 20 minutes. I even told the people at the register that the first order of pho was going to be under temp. Lastly, if a restaurant is too busy, disable incoming web orders until you can catch up. Or as the owner response is stating, don't bother requesting a pickup time, they will have your order ready whenever they can. On the upside the Bahn mi was very good wouldn't choose the wait again though.

Phở Đặc Biệt - Small Size Bowl.

I just relocate to the area for my work, found this restaurant. Ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt, I'm happy to say that the bowl of pho is very good, decent amount of all the meats from brisket, tai, tripes, tendon all were cooked perfectly tender and not over or under cooked . The broth just a tad strong on the cloves spice side but that just being picky . The service is fast & friendly. The place is nice & clean . I came in during lunch time . Will come back and try other dishes .

Good pho near the horse track south on the beltway. Bun (vermicelli) and rice plates are good too. A rather large spot so I hope they keep it full. I like having this as an option so close to the office. Drop in.

Two words....... AMAZE-BALLS Ok maybe a few more words, shall we? This place is operated as an authentic Vietnamese Noodle house. It's a rather new place and the decor is open and clean giving that Vietnamese-French influence. The food... well I had the shrimp and pork spring rolls with fish sauce (not a fan of peanut sauce) and a small bowl of Pho Tai. Excellent on both as the spring rolls were fresh and very tasty as was my Pho Tai. This is my first visit but as it comes to Vietnamese noodle houses, I'm impressed. I will be returning for more and likely will become a frequent flyer. Cheers!

The plastic I found in my banh mi. It was balled up, I had to pull it apart to see what it was. 73. Banh Mi Ga Nuong

The filling is placed in a pan and then a thin layer of batter made with tumeric and coconut milk yellow batter is poured on top. You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. It's nice having an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in our area, close to us, so we don't have to make the trek to Bellaire every time we crave some Viet food!

I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. (#3) Boh-Neh. Not bone.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

Upon arriving, every table was taken except our table w a reserved sign on it. The restaurant was bustling, but I could still hear my husband over the music and noise. The menu is huge!!! I didn't know where to start. But our server, Vanessa, helped us make a few choices. We started off w bánh xèo tostadas, bánh béo, & carpaccio. Then we had calamari and their steak special. I asked for a side of papaya slaw for some veggies. My favorite dish of the night was the carpaccio. So many flavors perfectly melded together. Loved the crunch of the fried onions and peanuts. 10/10 dish, in my opinion. Authentic banh xèo usually has an airier, crisp crepe, but theirs was more crunchy - great for their tostada take. Very flavorful. Each piece had one shrimp, but plenty of pork belly bites. The nuoc mam drizzled on it was tasty. Fried calamari - this is a big dish for, I believe, $'19. I prefer the dipping sauce on the side so that the batter doesn't get soggy. This did happen here, but it didn't stop us from finishing every last bite. The green sauce was good, not the usual dipping sauce for fried calamari. Steak special - they have another steak dish on their menu, but this one was pepper crusted w smashed potatoes. The potatoes were super crispy and flavorful and the steak was perfectly cooked - a beautiful pink medium rare. The portion was huge and justified the $39 price point. The staple steak dish came with a papaya slaw and I had to have it. It was bright and limey - I can see why they serve it with their steak. Bánh beo - my least favorite of the night. A bit thicker than I like. Still good, but there were a lot of other great dishes that I could easily pass on this one. Try their hibiscus artichoke tea.
