Wonderful staff, great ice cream. Multiple vegan options. And ice cream tastes delicious. Ambiance is very colorful and vibrant and so inviting. A must try if you in the neighborhood.

Trinidad x Caribbean inspired ice cream flavors ? Say less ! They have a large offering, something for everyone. Vegan Ice Cream- Made with oat milk, agave & natural flavors. servings come in three sizes, in a cup or cone. Honestly don't let the price disuade you, this is home made small batch ice cream. They also have beverages and baked goods available. My favorite so far is soursop.

I always try and stop in here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I'm always happy to support this family-run business. They have always been so pleasant and helpful whenever I stop in. My personal favorite flavors are the mauby ice cream and the soursop ice cream. The flavors for both are so pronounced. I highly recommend stopping in here, supporting, and getting delicious ice cream.

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Mr.P in person. Wonderful man and he was so informative. He gave me a card so every visit I get a stamp and once I get to the end I'll get free icecream. The unique icecream flavors are breathtaking. I try the sorrel icecream. Flavorful The overall store was very clean, organized and colorful.

Walked here from Queens on a hot summer day for a YES! event and had the best reward of tasting Mr P's ice cream. This place was packed on arrival. My boo and I had to wait outside until there was a smidge of room to stand inside. The decor was nice and the seating area was tiny. A few stools by the bar height table next to the window. Mr P himself was there and he and his helpers were truly extraordinary. They let us taste as many flavors as they had available (some were sold out)! And we got to choose a few flavors for a small cup which holds more than you'd expect. One of the flavors I got was the charcoal and don't dismiss it before you try it. It was actually really good and divine. It was so refreshing compared to the other flavors and it tasted like charcoal but sweet and not gross!!! It was absolutely epic. We did get some other flavors too, that were also good. One thing to note is that their ice cream isn't actually creamy. The texture is more like ices or sorbet. I have some pictures from back then and when I locate them I'll post it here. Happy eats!

The best icecream in NYC. Quality ingredients. Made with love. So many different carribean flavors. Shout out to Dwuane for explaining everything to us and being so kind. The icecream is perfectly sweet. Nice custard. I give this place 10 star. Vegan and Dairy free options with icecream and cakes and shakes. The peanut and banana were my favorite. The ginger flavors outrageous. The mauby tree bark so unique and delicious . Guava and grape nuts great. Charcoal was fun. The elderberry and ginget special was outrageous. Beautiful inside. Well be back. Top notch.

I have been wanting to try this ice cream shop for a long time. I was so happy to have been in this area for brunch. We went there and I felt the warmth and friendly atmosphere of this shop. It reminded me of an ice cream shop; I use to frequent as a child. The service was amazing and everything I tasted was delicious. I ordered the ginger sorrel, guava and soursop. I definitely recommend this place and will be back with my family soon.

On Juneteenth, hubby and I dropped by this ice cream shop for ice cream of course. It was so hot, we needed something to cool down. That day, this shop was also giving away free ice cream for kids between 2-6pm which I thought was commendable. They had a DJ playing music outside and creating a buzz. There were so many people going in for ice cream. I've been wanting to bring my hubby here so he can try their yummy ice cream and he finally got to. They let you try 3 flavors before you have to choose the one you want. My hubby settled on the coconut flavor. I even got him to try very and ginger even though he doesn't like beets and he liked it. Mic drop!!! I got 1 scoop of sorrel and ginger and 1 scoop of beet and ginger. Now I have 2 flavors I like at this place. We both got the smallest size which was $4 each and they give you 2 scoops for that price. It was plenty. Definitely check out this place. It's family owned and the staff are really friendly, helpful and down to earth. Don't forget to bring your punch card so they can punch it for your purchase. I'm looking forward to bringing my family and friends to try this place.

It's a cute little ice cream shop. Dwayne was friendly and accommodating. I sampled a couple of flavors before I decided. I liked the soursop but the sorrell ginger was a miss. It was very sweet with only a hint of sorrell. I was disappointed that they were out of grapenut. I chose the soursop. I will come back because it is close to me. Hopefully they'll be fully stocked soon. If you aren't looking for this place, you could easily miss it. I didn't know it was here until I got the Yelp invitation.

A family-owned business serving up delicious caribbean flavored ice cream in the heart of Brooklyn. I tried the activated charcoal ice cream and lemon ginger which were both delicious. The Lemon ginger was packed with ginger flavor and was so refreshing on this hot summer day. I also got a slice of vanilla cake which was heavenly.. Mr. P's son was behind the counter and was so friendly and hospitable. He greeted everyone that walked in and was so knowledgeable on flavors and ingredients. There's also a spacious seating area and dope artwork throughout the establishment. I can't wait to visit again to try more unique flavors like the avocado & soursop... Ig:thefunfluencer

Mr. P is a solid 4 for me. It has the old fashion vibe and it features many flavors including a few vegan options. I love seeing flavors other than chocolate for ice cream. This is a place to go especially if you're looking to try more Caribbean flavors. I truly digged the Beet and Ginger and Mauby. Peanut was great and creamy too! Looking to return to try more. Every scoop is $3. Very friendly staff and clean space to visit. Can't wait to return! They also sell milkshake and cakes.

The owner Ashley was very sweet and took time to fill us in on the concept and give insight on more additions coming to the shop ( bakery items). She gives samples so we tried the dairy free mixed berry- bursting with fruity goodness. We then got cones of Black is King -the most intense chocolate (Madagascar)flavor I've ever tried. It's insanely good, don't skip it if you're a chocolate fan. Both my hunby and son agreed it's the best chocolate ice cream we've had. I had the Ethiopian Coffee ice cream, so good. The ice creams are made without eggs and preservatives, made with fair trade ingredients from Africa .Vegan options are available. Frozen drinks offerings as well. There's loyalty card that I'm sure will not be difficult to quickly fill up. There's a cute little table for kids too. Great aesthetics, great service and great ice cream. Cash or card. The staff since I was friendly and I tried a couple flavors before settling on two which were $8.50 with one scoop being $6 and three being $10 I believe with the scoop sizes being pretty big. In terms of ice cream texture, it's not as creamy as some other spots but I don't mind a thicker ice cream and the sorbet was not too icy which was definitely a plus. I went with one ice cream and one sorbet with those being the Sorrel Rum and the Soursop Ice Cream. While I usually prefer ice cream pretty heavily over sorbets because of texture, I preferred the sorrel as it was strongly flavored and just outstanding. I love sorrel having had it multiple times because of my workplace and this was a excellent version with a bit of sourness but not too much and a bit of spice presumably from the rum or some other spices they use for the sorrel with both being likely. The soursop was a bit lighter but still had enough guanabana flavor to be unique (though without the texture of course) and I would still recommend it. I also tried someone else's Guava Cheesecake Ice Cream which I also liked and I was happy that it wasn't overly sweetened as many guava pastries/ treats are. I would be very happy if this place opened up a location outside of Crown Heights as I liked the flavors a lot and it would be a nice spin on the general ice cream places usually located in Manhattan or the Asian ones popping up. I think LES would be perfect for instance but for now, there's definitely a possibility I would go back down here and get more of this if I'm going to be going back here for dinner or something similar.
