This is the second time we have used Mr. Rooter Plumbing and I wish we started using them sooner. Needless to say, they will be our first and only call going forward. They deserve 5 stars for each of the following: * Excellent Customer service starting with first call! * Prompt and will be there when they say they will be there! And if they are ahead of schedule, they will call to see if you would like them to arrive sooner. Who doesn't want their plumbing issue fixed sooner?! * Extremely friendly & courteous employees from the moment they enter your home. * Thorough & knowledgeable. They walk you through the issue, what it will take to fix & provide an estimate before they begin the work. Jacob even provided advice on what to do in order to avoid the issue with our kitchen sink in the future. * The estimate was considerably less than I expected. Always a bonu$ in my book! * And an added bonus was a visit from Jacob's manager while he was still completing the work. * I would be remiss if I didn't mention the pride Mr.Rooter has for our country and those who have served over the years. Nate Wallace really served me well. He arrived on time, was polite and professional and a pleasure to work with. I called the company (after seeing them advertised on Home Advisor) about a slow draining kitchen sink. I feared the worse -- a broken/collapsed drain line outside of the house, which would have meant a very costly excavation bill. Nate [Tim and an excavation guy] explained the scenarios: the worse would be that the drain line was broken and we'd have to excavate; the moderate would be clearing the drain and then power spraying it to flush away all the build-up on the sides of the drain pipe; and the best would be clearing the drain pipe. I opted for the clearing only. Nate was really great. He got to work and cleared the drain. Then he ran a camera through the pipe and while there were some tree roots, there wasn't any break we could discern. While the service was a bit pricey [ which is why I give 4 stars and not 5 stars], Nate was absolutely great! Now the kitchen sink drains perfectly! read more

Called Mr Rooter (and 03 others) on Sunday 5AM for a backed up kitchen sink. Was contacted by Megan (Owner) by 8AM that morning. She was very nice and stated she could have a plumber out within a couple of hours. By 9AM(ish), Steve was at the house ready to mitigate the issue. He was very professional/personable and explained what would be done along with the service cost. About an hour later, I had clear drainage and a new pipe which was "very" much in need of replacement. He provided some very useful preventative maintenance information when asked and insured everything was clean and clear upon leaving. To have someone available on a Sunday morning "Same Day" and to have the owner (no answering service) call and set up the appointment is rare and I feel an outstanding example of staying in touch with the customer. I can't understand the negative reviews. I had an excellent experience with Mr. Rooter when other plumbers charged me twice and much and didn't fix the plumbing issue. There was no water pressure to the urinal in the men's bathroom. I had them out last year and about a week ago an agent in our office asked for a recommendation so I told her Mr. Rooter and gave her the number for this office. She just sent an email to every agent in our office (about 75 I guess) telling them what a wonderful job they did. Her experience was the same as mine. Other plumbers said they would have to dig everything up and Mr. Rooter fixed it for a LOT less. Perhaps there are different workers but whoever they sent for both of our jobs were extremely professional, they arrived on time, and they fixed the problems for a very reasonable price. When we arrived home from a weeks vacation, we found our sump pump empty of water but continuously cycling and very hot! We called Mr. Rooter and Justin was out to look at it within the hour. He disconnected our pump and confirmed what we suspected, that it was not salvageable. He offered options for a replacement system and, once we'd selected one, our technician, Will, arrived promptly. He installed the new pump that afternoon and resealed the system so our radon mitigation system would still work in conjunction with the sump pump (without being asked), showed us the interior and exterior result and reviewed the process for signing up for the warrantee. It was a terrific experience from beginning to end. It was a particular relief to have a company that responded so quickly! We've used Mr Rooter in the past and highly recommend them. read more

We purchased an older home knowing older homes can have issues with aging plumbing and electric. We had a backed up sewer. The Mr. Rooter technician came out promptly and was able to trace down where the blockage was at. They shown me the videos they made and I was kept informed of the progress of the work being done. They showed the root ball from the tree that caused the sewer pipe to crack and caused the backup. We recently ran into another drainage issue and called Mr. Rooter again. They had a technician in the area take a look at the problem and he fixed it right away. We have some other plumbing repairs that will need to be addressed in the future. I cannot say enough about Mr. Rooter Plumbing, not only did they come out same day, they were 2 hours early. Aaron, Martin, Joe and Derek all went above an beyond to take care of my parents issue AND the repair was done immediately. The entire team takes care of ALL the issues, they find the leak, repair the issue, have a team to clean, dry and take care of any mold then the 3rd team comes in to put it all back together. My parents are elderly and having to hire 3 different companies to fix one job was just too much oh an they also spoke to the insurance company to start the claim. Outstanding!! I called Mr Rooter for some plumbing repairs in order to sell my home. it was super easy to schedule an appointment and they called and said the repairman was going to be early. When does that ever happen? The repairman, Nathan, was phenomena. Super professional, made sure I understood what he was doing. The water needed to be turned off to all units in my condo building and he knocked on all doors to make sure the neighbors were aware. He didnt leave until my water was back on and there were no leaks. Nathan made sure there was no mess when he was finished. I will be scheduling again with Nathan for a dishwasher installation. I called Mr. Rooter this afternoon and they got someone out by this evening to give me a quote and install my toilet. Prior to this, the wait time was 7 to 10 days with other plumbing companies- some which said they had same day availability on their website but when I talked to them they actually didn't have anything for a week. Torrey H. (the installer) did a great job and even installed my bidet seat for me on the new toilet. They also disposed of the old toilet for us. Very pleased with the service I had from Mr. Rooter Plumbing. The technician Derrick Henderson has great customer service and was very professional.He went over the valves to the water under the sink that were pulled out by the sink hose and they just needed to be pushed back in.He did a great job replacing my new garbage disposal and left the area clean.I'm very pleased with his service and my new garbage disposal. We had some plumbing problems going on what we thought was a clog turned in to a more problematic issue. Anthony and Jesse explained everything to us and gave us a price on the repairs. They were reasonably priced. They did fix the clog problem and will be coming next week to finish the job that needs.
