This location is a bit hidden. Located behind the hotel on A1A (Ocean Dr). They have several…read morescooters for rent as well as 2 seater go-cart looking cars and we saw 1 golf cart available. The young lady who assisted us with our rental was nice and went over the scooter before leaving. We rented this scooter for 24 hours for $100. They require a security "hold" for $300 additional as insurance. The scooters were in ok shape but seemed to need some updating. They didn't tell me an Apple air tag was put in the scooter either. My phone notified me that it picked up a tag and something had been tracking me. That scared me. I had no clue what it could be or why I was being tracked. First instinct was I'm being followed. I can understand why they don't tell renters but iPhones are so smart these days I think it would've been nice to mention it for peace of mind. Good experience though. If you are a gal with a bigger behind, request a scooter without the "trunk" for more space on the 2 seaters!

My wife and I visited ft lauderdale in December 2023. We decided we wanted to try mopeds for the first time. We went to hot scooter rental. Big mistake. We rented the scooters and put the deposit on a capital one card, but the guy insisted we pay in cash. We payed in cash for a day rental, and we returned the scooters 2 hours early. No drama or issues or damage. The place was busy, but I let the guy know we're were back and I asked about a receipt, and he said it would be a bit, but we were good. It was a hot, long day and we just wanted to leave. Big mistake our my part. We left and thought all was good. About a month later there was a $600 dollar charge on the capital one card. My wife called and we found put it was from hot scooter rentals. The guy claimed we broke the contract because we made a reservation, and never showed up to rent the mopeds. We fought capital one for months, but lost because we don't have a receipt It's completely our fault for not getting a receipt, but screw the owner for ripping us off. Now we have to pay $600 for not renting mopeds that we rented and had a good time on. The owner is a thief and scammer. Plus the mopeds were decades old and falling apart.
