This location is a bit hidden. Located behind the hotel on A1A (Ocean Dr). They have several scooters for rent as well as 2 seater go-cart looking cars and we saw 1 golf cart available. The young lady who assisted us with our rental was nice and went over the scooter before leaving. We rented this scooter for 24 hours for $100. They require a security "hold" for $300 additional as insurance. The scooters were in ok shape but seemed to need some updating. They didn't tell me an Apple air tag was put in the scooter either. My phone notified me that it picked up a tag and something had been tracking me. That scared me. I had no clue what it could be or why I was being tracked. First instinct was I'm being followed. I can understand why they don't tell renters but iPhones are so smart these days I think it would've been nice to mention it for peace of mind. Good experience though. If you are a gal with a bigger behind, request a scooter without the "trunk" for more space on the 2 seaters! read more

We were looking for a fun activity for the family to do for a couple hours before lunch and this was it. Sunset's staff was very friendly and we had some of our best time our entire trip on our scooter cruise. We had 10 of us and rented a handful of scooters and little cart scooters or whatever you call them. The kids had as much fun as the adults. Do not rent from Sunset scooter. Can't emphasize enough. The place is shady and a dump along with the cooters they rent. Barely started at the rental ally way. Then the scooter within a mile, of leaving there was an issue with the steering. First time I shut the key off, The ignition fell off of the scooter, I call / text they refused to respond, The scooter was parked tried to start unable to start left it there took an Uber Back to the hotel continue to call and message. No response Uber back to the scooter walk the scooter back to location. Nobody there took pictures. Continued to text and called asked for a refund. No response contacted my credit card company put in a dispute. He responds to the credit card company stating another document signed but refused to provide it, forges a signature on it as had a relative whom was not with me at be the one who signed it. Presents to credit card company as if customer was gonna sign something that states I'll pay you for a scooter that didn't work. There's a reason the last hotel booted them from using their Property way too many complaints from good paying customers They are not the cheapest and if they were still should not use them the hassle as well as your safety. You don't deserve to be breaking down , having the steering go out, or a wheel popping off while you're driving and even if not hurt then you incur the cost of the Uber rides back to your hotel. read more

Rented a scooter from them for part of my vacation a few weeks ago, things went smoothly except when they falsely accused me of getting a parking ticket weeks later. Contacted me through text about it so I asked for a picture of the ticket, and the plate on the ticket didn't even match the plate of the scooter I had! Most unorganized and unprofessional business. Worst place I have ever rented from and worst scooter I have ever driven. Pictures and website are NOTHING like what you get. We were given a scooter with a practically flat tire and were given NO HELMETS even though we were supposed to, they claimed they "ran out." Scooters are rusty, old, and the horns don't work. Workers were rolling a joint as we were checking out and is ran out of a shack on the beach by guys that clearly have no idea what they are doing other than that they are scamming people. Experience wasnt so good 1st off i was renting a coupe and my dad was renting one the guy just charged me for both, and put both 400 dollar deposit on my card, when i said it was separate nothing was done, here it is 9days later and the 800 deposit hasnt been released on my credit card! (Ive used this card several times for renting something and deposit was right back on the card in a few hours) so if u go to this location please use cash for deposir unless u want your funds on your card held for over a week, and it would have helped if the man would have been clear on what he was charging my card, not sure why he didn't understand im renting one and my dad is renting one, never once did i say i was paying for both nor renting 2! Laid back but competent. Super simple to operate the scooter. Full tank of gas (extra $5) which lasts 100 miles or so. Got me to my run in Hillsboro and brunch with friends in Dell Ray in fine style. Tops out at 35 mph but all good as long as you stay in the right lane. Fun to get back on a scooter after 50 years or so. No hassle on return. Showed me as they voided the deposit. Scooter was new and peppy but trim had been beaten up. Otherwise a five star experience. read more
