I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

I like it better than SeaFood City becuase it really seems that SC only focuses on Filipino cousine while Asahi offers varieties. The owners, which I haven't seen in a while were always polite and helpful and with their recent rearranging of things, they made the store easier to find things. Their prices are very competiive especially when it comes to basic things like soy sauce which I'm sure is very much appreciated by the community that patronizes them. We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!
