First time trying Mr. Shrimp, and overall it was a great experience. We ordered two empanadas de camarón, a tuna tostada, an al pastor burrito, and two shrimp tacos. Out of everything, our least favorite was the al pastor meat, but all of the seafood dishes were fresh and flavorful. They also have a mini salsa bar with a few select salsas. I really liked that they offered chili oil and rabanos. The food does take a little while to come out, but everything arrived hot and fresh, which made it worth the wait. We're talking, ceviche, shrimp cocktail and of course what they're famous for, thier aguachile. They recently won the morgan hill aguachile festival. They're food is on point. The aguachile is spicy but very tasty. I've been back twice to try something different. The vampiros,cocktail de cameron, tostada de atun all are deliscious. They have outdoor seating and a small parkong lot in back. Look to spend about 30$ per person, so it's a little more pricey than a regular taco truck. But it's worth it. read more

My husband came in on a Sunday around noon. It's a food truck that makes everything fresh to order but we didn't wait very long for our food. I order carne asada tacos with a fish ceviche tostada, my husband ordered the ahi tuna tostada and an al pastor burrito. Everything was 10/10, although they were out of la llorona and la víctima but it's okay it just means we'll have to comeback to try it! This spot is where one of their food trucks is located, as in a (permanent?) set up. Lunch and dinner. I've been here twice and I can't wait to go back to try something new. On my first visit, I had their Al pastor burrito. Then I realized my friend got tacos, so the second visit, I got a shrimp taco (I mean, name sake so it's got to be good, right?). Well, yes, the shrimp taco was absolutely delicious. So was the Al pastor. Don't miss their orange sauce and guacamole sauce. I can't wait to bring my family here one of these days, since they do have a big tent with lots of tables and chairs. And if you catch one of their food trucks out somewhere, you should definitely stop and try their food. (I saw another in the lot, so they have at least one more). Note tho my friend who introduced me to this truck mentioned the food seems to be better when a certain lady is present. My boyfriend had been raving about this food truck because his work hired them for an event, and he'd been wanting to bring me here for a while. We were excited to finally try it, especially since they're known for their seafood. We ordered one Aguachile Negra ($27), two ahi tacos ($12 each), and two micheladas ($6 each). By our math, the total before tax should have been $63. Before San Jose sales tax (10%) and a stated credit card fee (around $2), roughly $71.30, we were shocked when our Apple Pay charge came out to $85.47. To make matters worse, I had already tipped in cash. Thinking there had to be a mistake, I went back to ask for an itemized receipt. They refused to provide one and instead verbally calculated the total without showing how they arrived at the amount. That left us with more questions than answers. I'm not upset about paying for good food, but I do expect pricing to be transparent. When a business can't provide an itemized receipt or explain a charge that seems significantly higher than expected, it's hard not to leave feeling disappointed and misled. I hope this was an honest mistake, but the lack of transparency is enough that I won't be returning. read more

Recommended this place by my cousin. They operate out of a truck in what is probably a permanent spot. I will mostly recommend the Shrimp Emperador Tacos and Birria Tacos. The Vampiro tacos have both beef and shrimp, but the beef overpowered the shrimp in my opinion. The regular Cameron Tacos were too basic in comparison to the Emperador so I'd stick with the latter. I've had the tostada but it's so loaded (not in a bad way), the tostada was getting hard to stay crispy so I'd go for the ceviche next time.
