Best tacos ever!! Tacos los tres Reyes have the best tacos! I've been to the East San Jose and this is my first time trying the Monterey chain. I really enjoy their salsas, especially the orange and avocado salsa! It makes the tacos taste soo good. I don't believe any places makes it as better. Additionally they always are generous with their portions!! They often fill my tacos to the brim. Additionally, they're very generous with a side of grilled onions. Definitely recommend!

Love these tacos! They're so affordable too - about $3 each. They operate out of a truck but there's a tent with seating. There's also plenty of parking since they're on a lot. Cash and cards are accepted! Tacos come out quick and you get a mild green salsa or a spicy orange salsa. They also have grilled onions and chiles. They always have agua frescas too. While I do love them, I think they add too much sugar. Overall, definitely come here to try out the tacos! They never disappoint!

(3.5 out of 5) I saw a lot of great things about this place so I decided to try it after the sharks game, this place isn't very expensive, not counting the Agua frescas... which were 6$e for the smallest size. The tacos were good, a solid 4/5, not the best service but whatever... and great salsas, forgot to take a picture of there onions and cucumbers etc. but they are really good! I definitely think there is better tacos places in SJ, and many better In the Bay Area. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!

There's a small parking lot shared with the neighboring cafe to park at. Some of the most deeply flavored meat on a taco you can get. There's plenty of sautéed onions given with your meal and a large jalapeño. Sometimes there's a wait even with a few people but it's a treat when I come by to eat.

This taco truck will rock your taste buds.! The staff is fast and the drinks are homemade like their Horchata. The little spot makes you feel like home when you eat their tacos. They even have exotic meats like tongue, Buche, tripe, cabeza. The reason they are different from other taco trucks it's because they grill their meat and not fry it like others. The have 2 sets of tables and chairs in case you want to dine in. But take a sweater it gets chili.

Never disappoints. This taco truck has been here for at least 5yrs and the food continues to taste great! The have all the taco meats that there is. All the meats taste fresh, not like some taco places where you can tell the meat has been warmed for a couple of days. They have two tables and chairs to sit out side but I feel it's more delicious eating in the car lol the service is great: fast, efficient and friendly! The aguas frescas are delicious. Home made! None of that syrup stuff.

Best taco place ever ! I love coming here ! Their crispy tripes are always on point ! I love the service as well they're super friendly !! They have sitting areas for you to sit down. They have the mango juice too which is amazing !! Highly recommend coming here !!!

Whenever I'd hear about a food truck back in the day, the first thing that would come to mind is prepackaged food. However, those days are long gone! These food trucks are now capable of whipping up gourmet meals that could potentially rival any local sit down restaurant. At this particular location, the trucks only come out on Friday night, with 9-11 different trucks to choose from. They also provide live music and fun games for the family. They do provide 5 gallon buckets that are used for seats, and a couple of planks/boards that can be used as tables while you are scarfing down your food. I finally decided to give it a try after hearing about the restaurant from food reviewer Dave fiore text. As someone who absolutely loves tacos and is always on the hunt for great local taco spots, I was excited to see how this place compared to some of my favorites. I ordered four different tacos, and overall, they were pretty good. They weren't bad by any means, but they also didn't quite blow me away. The meat was cooked well, the tortillas were fresh, and the tacos had good flavor. The salsa was decent too, although I personally prefer something with a little more kick. Everyone has different tastes, so this is just my opinion. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized the restaurant was. You can tell they take pride in keeping the dining area nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly, and my food came out quickly. It's always a good sign when a restaurant pays attention to both cleanliness and customer service. I've eaten at a lot of taco places throughout the Bay Area, so I naturally compare every new place to some of my favorites. While El Halal Mexican Restaurant didn't make the top of my list, I still had a good experience and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Not every restaurant has to be your favorite to be worth visiting. I also like supporting family-owned businesses because I know how much hard work goes into running a local restaurant. They deserve credit for creating a clean, welcoming place and serving quality food. Will I come back? Maybe. If I do, I'd probably try something different on the menu instead of the tacos. Sometimes a restaurant's best dish isn't the first thing you order, and I'd be interested in seeing what else they have to offer. Overall, I'd give El Halal Mexican Restaurant a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It was a good experience, I'm happy I finally got to try it, and if you're in the Willow Glen area, it's worth stopping by and deciding for yourself.
