This is the only time I didn't finish the burrito and usually it has a lot more flavor but unfortunately this time I was disappointed in the quality to the point I didn't finish it. Tacos suadero 8/10 cabeza con el vapor 9.5/10 lengua con el vapor 6/10 carne asada 6/10 al pastor 8.5/10 The tacos were the star of the show tonight with the their Al Pastor Tacos and Cabeza con el vapor! Those had the best flavor profile The green and orange sauces were okay, not extremely flavorful and receive a sauce rating of 2.5/5; it's good for the first couple bites then the flavor fatigue gets real. Next time only cabeza and al pastor in taco form. Panchito is a nice taco truck located next to the tire shop. They have extremely nice staff that really make you feel at home. I usually come here whenever I am craving Mexican food and sometimes it is hit or miss. They have tables outside but sometimes it's too cold at night so I Togo the food home, but they always play some great music there! read more

Some places just get it right every single time and this taco truck is one of them. I've ordered through DoorDash and picked up directly from the truck, and the experience is identical either way: fresh, correct, and consistent without fail. That kind of reliability is more rare than it should be, and it's worth calling out. The tacos themselves are the main event. The Carne Asada, Suadero, and Al Pastor are all standouts, but the Al Pastor especially earns its spot. They serve it with pineapple, which is the way it's meant to be done and a detail that tells you they actually care about getting it right. These are easily some of the best tacos in San Jose, and I don't say that lightly given how much competition there is in the South Bay. But the drinks alone might be worth the trip. Their Horchata and Agua Fresca are genuinely among the best I've had anywhere in the Bay Area and that's a real statement in a region with no shortage of excellent options. The salsa bar is a nice bonus: a self-serve setup where you scoop what you want into containers, and they send you off with baggies of fresh cilantro and onion so you can finish the tacos exactly how you like them. They actively encourage you to take plenty, which tells you a lot about the kind of place this is. The staff is warm and welcoming on top of everything else. Truly one of the best taco trucks around. Service - 5 stars, the staff are very friendly and quick when preparing your food. Parking - 2 stars. The area where the taco truck is located isn't the greatest and street parking is pretty limited. There is a shopping plaza within walking distance that you can park there if you plan on being quick. Food - 5 stars. I tried the carne asada & Al Pastor tacos, carne asada burrito & the Torta Milanesa and all of them were fire . The meat has that nice charred/smoky flavor and the tortillas for the burritos are soft , but they grill it so it holds up since these burritos are packed! Sauces - 3 stars. You can tell all of their sauces are made fresh and have 4 different salsas to choose from. I always try to get any orange or guacamole salsa if they have it so I can compare it to other places. Always drive by on Monterey. Parking lot is tiny. You can also DoorDash tacos from this truck! They come with all the good stuff (grilled onions and peppers). When we ordered like 30 tacos another time, they separated all the toppings which helped preserve it for everyone. I will say they're kind of stingy on the sauces because my family loves saucing it up. If I go pick up I have to really ask for more hehe. Overall love it. I go here w my bf at least once a week. Nice staff, friendly service! The asada is grilled and it's so freaking good. The pastor is my guilty pleasure so I usually order three asada tacos & one pastor taco. The pastor comes with pineapples. The salsa bar is excellent. I LOVE their orange sauce. The plate of tacos comes with grilled onions and one serrano pepper. I like panchito more than tres Reyes bc it's much MUCH less oily. My boyfriend and I really enjoy the tacos from Tacos Panchito, especially the chicarrón prensado tacos--they're unique and not something we can find anywhere else! That alone keeps us coming back. That said, the pricing for this meat in particular feels a bit steep considering there are no extras like cheese, sour cream, or avocado included. The sauces are flavorful, but I wish they were a little more generous--only one of each sauce was given for both of our plates, and I personally love having plenty of sauce on my tacos. On the positive side, we really appreciate the grilled onions and jalapeños that come with the order--it's a nice touch, though it would be great if they provided a bit more of those too, especially for the price. Been coming here a few times this year and always enjoyed it. Their orange salsa is genuinely great, probably my favorite thing about the place. Tacos and burritos are good, prices are reasonable. Last visit though, not great. Paid $40 for a burrito and three asada tacos, got $6 back. Should've been closer to $16. I asked for a receipt, it was right there in black and white, and they just kind of shrugged like they had no clue what happened. Eventually gave me the right change. Terrible experience. I ordered the most simple thing imaginable - a plain CHEESE QUESADILLA. No meat, no nothing. What I was served instead was a tortilla with like 5 shreds of cheese and a half a head of iceberg lettuce inside. And, to add insult to injury, they charged $15 for that. Stopped at this food truck with good high energy music blasting. Looking through the window of the food truck and seeing the Al Pastor spinning on the spit, I knew I was going to like it. I ordered a couple tortas, some tacos and a horchata. The tortas were monsters. I had half of mine for dinner and had the rest for dinner the next night. The flavor was excellent and I will definitely be back. If you get tacos to go, be sure to grab your onions, cilantro, etc from the table before you leave. Just stumbled upon the best late night fast Mexican food! This taco spot is right on Monterey Rd. and stays open until 1AM. We decided to try both the tacos and burrito with lengua and carne asada meat. The lengua was so juicy and tender and it was overall one of the best I've had. The carne asada was a little more dry but still enjoyable. Also, the tacos do come with cucumbers and radishes which are always a bonus for me! The burrito was filled with beans, meat, cheese, avocado, and rice and was very delicious. I also really recommend the pina agua fresca. I love how there is no pulp and just the right amount of sweetness. My favorite part about this place is that when you dine outside in their seating area, they give you bottles of sauce to you with it. The habenero sauce is good but the avocado sauce is perfect! Just the right amount of heat and flavor. We've been here twice and both times the service was great and very fast. First time trying this taco truck and it did not disappoint! I was surprised that there was no line when I went because these tacos are amazing. I ordered 4 lengua tacos and gulped them up so fast I forgot to take a picture lol. They have a sauce bar so you can grab all the sauces you want. I personally enjoyed liked the light green sauce the most. Love this place! Been here 3 times in the last couple of weeks, thats how much we liked it. The al pastor tacos hit EVERY TIME. They have an extensive salsa bar that includes grilled onions, among other things. My fave is the super spicy guac sauce. Would be nice if they had chips. They might but I didn't see it on the menu and didn't ask neither. Horchata is also yummy! Service was good. We've waited about 10-15mins for our food when we've gone. Ordered for the first time from DoorDash and overall the burrito was mid. The entire burrito was really dry including the meat. Didn't taste the sour cream. Didn't taste the guacamole. I was craving a burrito at 12:30am on a Monday night so I searched what's open and found this truck only a few miles away. I did not have my hopes up because I've seen food trucks on Yelp in the past that either were not open as late as Yelp suggested or were no longer at the address! Luckily, this place was still open when I arrived at 12:50. I ordered a lengua burrito for $14 and asked for a side of jalapeños which were of no charge. They have one standard burrito that most restaurants would call a "super": meat, rice, beans, onions, cream, cheese and avocado. The burrito is pretty phat! I'd say about 1/5 larger than your avg. The tender lengua and the other ingredients (I opt out of cream) combined for a delicious burrito. It's a pretty straight forward, solid ass burrito! A burrito sounds simple but I think we all know it is not haha Most restaurants I go to might have great meat but their rice and beans are only decent, or they may have great side ingredients but the meat is too chewy, bland or dry, or they will add too much of one ingredient that over/underwhelms the experience like too much rice or cheese, etc. It's not often you find a restaurant where each ingredient is solid on its own and balanced together for a delicious meal. The only other one I can think of that does burritos well in this regard is Jalisco Taqueria, my fave. Jalapeños were delicious as well! They are the narrower and longer kind; charred but still maintained some crunch and decent kick. They were slightly salted which I've never had before but I appreciated it. Besides the amazing burrito and great jalapeños, the sauces were only decent. I don't know if maybe it was cause I came so late but the orange sauce didn't taste as vibrant or fresh as I'd expect and the red salsa was so-so. All in all, I'd definitely come back for another burrito! It's great to have found a closer alternative to my favorite spot that opens later and is less busy. First I'll preface by saying that I was never a fan of food trucks and preferred going to sit down Mexican restaurants/taquerias but Tacos Panchito has made me a believer. This became my favorite taco spot since I first tried it! I was so fixated on the food here, specifically the al pastor tacos with slices of pineapples, that I kept coming back once a week, sometimes more. And homemade corn tortillas? Most taquerias don't even do that but the extra effort just tastes so much better. As for the burritos and quesadillas, the ratio and portion of the fillings are more generous than other places.
