We are from out of town and looking for a good coffee place. We ended up coming here and to be honest I wasn't too thrilled. The coffee was decent, the atmosphere was outdated. The sandwiches are pricey. My friend ordered for his family, they ended up forgetting a drink on his order and still made him pay for it after waiting 20 min. I honestly wouldn't go back. The servers have a rude attitude, they aren't welcoming like the shops back home. I'm not sure if there are any more options around Sandusky. But I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

Coffee was great and well priced. Lots of options. Service was very fast and it's comfortable in the coffee shop with tables and couches.

My family and I decided to stop in here before going to the park and loved it. When we walked in we noticed how cute the art was and the vibe was awesome. After a wait in line we decided to order some food and coffee. I ordered their pumpkin pie latte, a cinnamon carmel muffin and a breakfast sandwich. My aunt got a hot chocolate and a tea. Everything was fantastic. The pumpkin pie latte was literally the best pumpkin pies latte I have EVER had. Was incredible. You know how the pumpkin spice in those things normally tastes fake? This didn't have it. It was perfect. The breakfast sandwhich was spot on and the muffin was incredible. We loved everything. We would most definitely come back here and would recommend it to you if you're looking for a cute coffee shop with character in the area!

The place was poppin. Line moved fast. Place has a nice vibe. We go pour over coffee. They had the flavor I wanted on drip and seemed confused for the request for pour over. We got our coffer in minutes. The "pour over" either was too fast or they just gave us drip.. but it left a harsh after taste and not anlot of flavor. Just for reference, we have had pour over from several coffee shops, so there is experience and history with it. Did nkt have their other stuff.. but if I cannot get a simple pour over done proper... i imagine the rest is just ok?

Uh, what a cute place! Places like these need to survive a pandemic. And I am glad they seem to be with minor adjustments. There is a spacious amount of ...space.....where tables used to be. The place is adorned with local art and its very colorful along with new place mats for COVID regulations. The staff behind the fiberglass asked all the right questions when ordering and didn't forget one thing. The Asiago bagel with egg and cheese was seriously so good. It wasn't like some grand thing, just for whatever reason hit so right. I also appreciated the (ready) iced peach green tea with peaches in it. Big for me. Perfect little breakfast prior to riding coasters. Sucked that there were so many bees when we ate outside. Relentless.

Coffee is what brought me in. Food is what made me stay. Mr. Smith's Coffeehouse is way more than that. It's more of a cafe. There's a good sized food menu. I came in and only wanted a coffee. I didn't know there was food. There were some things that sounded so good I couldn't resist. First there was the coffee. I ordered the regular drip. This is about $2 for a medium. After this I needed to get some of this food. The special was the veggie burger wrap. It was about $8 and included a side of your choice. This is made with avocado, hummus, and spinach. It was a good size for what they charge. They have a lot of choices for vegetarians including salads. I could go here again. Maybe enjoy it even more when I'm hungry. This is a must stop in Sandusky.

This is a cozy, locally owned spot in Sandusky to get a coffee! The frozen hot chocolate is amazing too. It's definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area, or even just need to get some work done on your computer. They have a really good selection of wraps, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast options! Smoothies, tea, lattes - just a few of the options they have as well. The menu is also available on their website too! Everyone is always so friendly and service is fast! Grab your coffee, support a local business, and take a walk down to the pier - a great way to start your day.

Yelp brought my friend and I to this little gem. What a great coffee house. Would be my go-to if I was a local. The atmosphere is upbeat, yet relaxing. Art work on the wall, both for decor and for sale. So many different coffee beans. You can pick out your own beans and they will grind them up for you to take home. More than just coffee...menu seemed to have a large selection of food and pastries. I went with a chai tea. Very yummy and I was able to taste the clove and cinnamon. They have a ton of different coffee flavors....flavors that I've seen or tried before. Lavender, banana rum, s'mores...just to name a few! Service was speedy and friendly. Prices are super reasonable. I will return when I'm in the area again!

A really cute spot to grab a delicious coffee drink or smoothie and a breakfast sandwich! We really liked the atmosphere and the sandwiches were good! Wish there were more GF options

Strong coffee, a lot of choice, friendly staff. One star off for the interior is quite dark without windows.

It was a smaller store front, cozy and a hidden gem! The restaurant has so much personality, with years of awards proudly displayed throughout the dining room. Before the food even arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. We started with the Bistro Onion Soup and the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque. French onion soup and lobster bisque are two of my all-time favorites, so my expectations were high. The Bistro Onion Soup absolutely delivered--rich, flavorful broth, perfectly tender onions, and an incredible blanket of melted cheese. Easily one of the best onion soups I've ever had. The Red Pepper Lobster Bisque was equally memorable. The sweetness of the roasted red peppers paired beautifully with the lobster, creating a unique twist that really worked. My husband and older son both ordered the Momma Mia. A spaghetti sandwich? We were intrigued! My son gave it a 9/10 and said it tasted like a lasagna sandwich. He'd order it again without hesitation. My youngest chose Ziggy the Piggy and declared it "the best sandwich I've ever had." That's high praise from a 10-year-old! He gave it a perfect 10/10, and the sandwich was nearly as big as his head. Honestly, reading the menu made us want to come back just to try everything else. Every item sounded delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake, and it made us feel right at home. If you're passing through--or even if you're not--Zuppaman is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

The Gyro salad is also amazing. In fact, I have never been disappointed in anything prepared here. The selection of baked goods is amazing. The wine selection is also outstanding. ( Now for the other side of the story). Going back to the time when I was born (in Ireland, but this story began in another part of Europe) In the 1950's outside of Athens, Greece when a family traveled from there to the United States in search of a better life. The mother found comfort in a foreign land while working as a baker, hand-making the recipes she brought with her. She passed these recipes on, with love. Another begins in the 1980's on the Italian island of Sardinia when a young man in the U.S. Navy, met a local girl & brought her back to the United States to raise their family. She keeps in touch with her family & her homeland by importing the food products she grew up loving. Their stories eventually intertwine through a marriage.
