The food here is amazing! Portions aren't crazy huge too. The French toast was delicious, and you can order them with less toppings if you're not on the sweet side. The service was so quick, we had a table of 3 and we went in the morning. Waitress Thais was super polite and offered recommendations. It's very clean and spacious inside, good to have a nice conversation with loved ones.

First of all they have parking which is great. Great ambience really family vibe. The service is perfect from the people working there but I feel like they are short staffed since they took over an hour to get the food ready from the kitchen but I mean they only have so much people and they can only do so much right? I really blame management for this. Antoni was our server and she was absolutely great and friendly she apologize so many times for the delay even when it was not her fault she was working so hard and had so many tables to serve but she was not in a bad mood at all she is great. The food was like always fantastic the eggs cooked to perfection and the pancakes so tasty, the whole family loves the place and has never let us down just this one time but again is understandable. I would definitely go back soon and yes I recommend this place.

I stopped in for breakfast last weekend with my sister and a friend. I'd visited the Stacks location in Crestwood a couple of times and thought it was decent, so I figured this location would probably be a safe bet. We walked in mid-morning and snagged a table immediately. Our waitress was friendly, but she wasn't very attentive. She didn't come back to ask if we needed anything, but we tipped her well despite not being satisfied with the service. I ordered a grill cheese with ham and chicken noodle soup. The soup was fair, and the grilled cheese was greasy. Honestly, the grilled cheese was the worst one I've probably ever eaten. The sandwich was served on sourdough rather than Texas toast , so the bread was soggy. Yuck. The fries were okay, but nothing memorable. My friend had the ruben sandwich, and my sister had the BLT. They both liked their food. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and cozy. There's a juice bar which appeared to be offering delciious looking drinks. We didn't order anything, but everything looked yummy!

Tried a new spot out and wasn't necessarily thrilled with the experience. When the host ask where you'd like to sit and then sits you in the exact opposite of the request in a primarily "clear" restaurant at the time.....yea thats not good sign of things to come. Oh yea take a look at where they sat us..... When the server starts debating about what's clearly on the menu? Yea another not so good sign ....with all that said......the pancakes were good...that is all..have a good day

Not a good place to have Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch. Very bad quality. My order was Mac and Cheese and it looked like the a store bought Kraft Mac and cheese. No effort whatsoever in the quality of food. I also order a "Philly Cheese Skillet" not even close. Greasy vegetables and the meat seem very gross plus it had a tiny bit of cheese. The house Coffee is very water down. No wonder the place is empty for breakfast. Red Flag. I did not eat any of the food. Ambient could be better.

Actually super impressed with this! Place was nice wide open space. I placed an order on Grubhub and it was ready in about 20 minutes. I got the bacon avocado scramble sub egg whites and no cheese. I don't believe they charged extra for egg whites. It was really good! Lots of bacon! The scramble came with your choice of potatoes, I got the ranch seasoned which were good but could've been a bit crispier! Next time I'll ask for extra crispy. You also got the choice of a pancake or toast side. I upgraded to the cupcake pancakes without whipped cream and they were delicious! Happy with them and the perfect amount of food. Price wise, they were a little bit lower than you'll see closer to the loop. This was about $14.50 for all of it. Overall, very happy!

Great breakfast they have large portions

Server added the party on one ticket without asking. Reburan meal was gross . The BLT CLUB was great

I've been here twice to give them the benefit of the doubt, both times have been for pickup. First time I ordered their breakfast sandwich which I requested for sausage instead of bacon and one of their mixed juices. When I picked up my order girl looked extremely confused when I said I was there to pick up an order. After waiting for about 5 minutes she shoves the bag across the counter saying you're all set! I tell her I ordered a juice also- again looking perplexed looks at the slip and goes to her co worker and they go back and forth for about ten minutes. She finally tells me their out of Kale- so then I just say no big deal any other juice is fine. Again she goes back to the coworker it's been (15 minutes by now) and the co worker says I cancelled the juice the moneys back in your account. I was annoyed but okay just shrugged said thanks and left. When I open my bag when I get home I see my breakfast sandwhich is two pieces of toast with a sausage patty thrown in between lol! What?! Well I Gave them a second shot today, called ahead to make sure I was giving them enough time to finish the order, a lady answered the phone like it was her own number. They were still really confused when I arrived this time the young lady at the counter kept looking over on what I assume were the milkshake recipes and looked EXTREMELY stressed. Food was bland and eggs were pretty cold, sausage links had hard pieces inside. Hope they get better! Management needs to actually train the staff It looks they they were just left to figure it out themselves.

The staff at Stacks Cicero is kind and the food is good. The ingredients were all fresh and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous and considering what you're getting, the prices are more or less the same if you got that same dish with the sides at IHOP. I prefer this style of food more. Everything was clean and it is refreshing to have space in a restaurant - the floor plan was nice and open.

The food and service were amazing! Ronald was so friendly and made us feel like we were eating at his own place. The menu has a lot of great options and I look forward to trying them all. Today was all about omelets for me!

Short on staff the food took forever to come to our table and it came incomplete. The taste wasn't very good no flavor at all. I'd rather go to IHOP across the street.

The 2 short hair I have blonde hair soo they can not day it's mine!!!! N there was egg in the soup!?!??

Went to Soul Food Lounge for a birthday dinner. The space is pretty small and every seat was taken,…read moreso there is really nowhere to wait if you do not have reservations. Definitely book ahead. We all ordered the Grand Tasting, which lets you try three entrees plus a beverage. It was so much food but everything was delicious. I had the short rib, fried chicken, and catfish, each with different sides. The only thing I did not really care for was the dressing. They also had live entertainment, which made the vibe even better. Customer service was just okay, but I would still recommend it. I definitely want to try their other location since I have heard the menu is different.

I recently visited Soul Food Lounge on Chicago's West Side and overall had a good experience…read more The restaurant itself is pretty small, and the layout feels a little awkward when you first walk in since you're looking directly into the kitchen. The ambiance wasn't quite what I expected, but the service and food made up for it. I ordered the Caribbean stuffed turkey leg, which came with pasta, spinach, a couple of jumbo shrimp, and a turkey drumstick. The dish was flavorful and satisfying overall. My only criticisms were that the spinach was chopped so finely that it was hard to really taste it, and the turkey drumstick seemed smaller than expected. I was hoping for a meatier drumstick, but most of the meat was concentrated toward the bottom of the bone. For dessert, I had a slice of carrot cake, and it was excellent. I would have loved for it to be served warm, but it was still moist, flavorful, and a great way to end the meal. I also tried the fried pound cake, and unfortunately, it was a miss for me. It didn't taste like pound cake, and honestly, it wasn't a very good cake in general. It's not something I would order again. One thing I noticed is that the menu doesn't appear to offer appetizers or salads, which might be something to consider if you're looking for more variety before your main course. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. While there were a few things that could be improved, the stuffed turkey and carrot cake were enjoyable, and I'd be willing to come back and try something else on the menu.
