Very underwhelming. Definitely don't get the burritos, they are small and all lettuce and tomatoes, menu says they come with avocado but none on it. The chicken in it was tiny rubbery tasteless bits. Always a family favorite for authentic Mexican! We love the handmade tortillas, tamales, soups, salsas and all of it is made by hand. So flavorful and we order from here every week! Since the tamales are freshly made, it takes about 1.5 hours for them to be ready. We haven't tried breakfast here yet, but we have not been disappointed. read more

OMG this Birria has moved up to my all time favorite foods! I'm literally obsessed and get it at least once a week I've had birria from other restaurants, and they do not compare! They always come out hot and fresh in a timely manner. Waitresses are attentive and welcoming. The complimentary soup is always so good and makes me feel like I'm at home. Great food. The tacos al pastor are very tasty and my go to here. The salsas are thick and flavorful. Only wish they were a bit more spicy. I've tried the enchiladas, tacos, tortas and everything has been great so far. The employees are nice and have great service. Plenty of seating available on site. I stopped by this little Mexican restaurant for some lunch before my manicure appointment at the nail salon next door. I ordered the chilaquiles in green salsa with cecina on the side. (FYI: cecina is thinly sliced, salted and partially dried piece of beef) It was cooked perfectly to my liking, the chilaquiles had a generous amount of green slightly spicy salsa topped with crema and queso fresco (sour cream and cheese). Even the beans had very good flavor. The waitress was also very attentive. Not many places make good chilaquiles, I enjoyed my meal very much. I will be coming back to something new. read more

I like to come here for breakfast but have started coming in for dinner lately. Food is good and i like the small cup of soup they give you at the begining of the meal. I only have one complaint, and that is i wish the food was a little warmer. More than once it has been just warm instead of hot food. This mostly is for the sides, though. I ordered delivery from this place. The food was hot & on time, but the chicken burrito was horrible. The chicken tasted like pieces of tough sponge & had a watery flavor like it was boiled. The lettuce, tomato & beans were all very bland too. I thought they forgot the avocado, but it turns out there wasn't any on the part of the half I forced myself to eat. Place deserves a 5 out of 5 stars. When your food is as good as these guys? Then maybe i'd listen to a fair argument. However, Every place will have its quirks its not a big corporate ran food operation. Its a small business just like anyone else that just so happens to make great food, in a great area and where the food is popular. You are paying for the guaranteed satisfaction of the food. Just had carry out for lunch. The lady behind the counter was very nice. Even asked if I was in a hurry because the sopes I ordered would take a little time since they make the fresh. I told her that wouldn't be a problem. The food was very good and flavorful. The chicken was not dry. And there was more than enough food in one order of sopes for one person. The two sauces a green and a red that came with it had a good amount of spice without being over the top spicy. I do like fairly spicy though so it might be too much if you are used to mild. We ordered delivery from here, so the food arrived warm, not hot, but was pretty good. I ordered the steak nachos, which came with steak, beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Sounds like a lot, but tons of the chips were pretty dry. The dry chips were good for trying the salsas which were pretty good and had a decent kick. My guy enjoyed his quesadilla which came in a large portion. Would order from here again. Might be better to stop in and try it fresh so everything is hot! read more

Stoped in because it's nice to support our local business.Everyone was super nice, we promptly got greeted and asked if we wanted anything to drink, after we ordered something to drink our waitress brought us complementary soup with home made salsa , definitely reminded me of the soup my mom made when I was young so good! After we had our soup we placed our order I had the sopes and my kids had tacos the sopes and tacos were good but as I was looking at the menu I realized they had tamales so I ordered tamales to go (for breakfast the next day) and those tamales taste awesome! The woman that took my order was not at all friendly. She was confused by what I was ordering which was a vegetarian burrito. Simple in my book. The guy in the back cooking completely ignored me. I doubt he cared that I wanted vegetarian because I could taste chorizo and it made my burrito greasy tasting and I could taste the "flavor". It was just barely warm and burned on one side. I ordered carry out so I had no idea when I was there how bad it appeared. This was my first time trying it and I will NEVER return. I suspect they will not be open very long. On top of that they took the guy that came in after me and made his order first even though I placed my order first. I'm not one bit surprised either. They had no interest in speaking English at all. Very disappointed. There are soooo many great Mexican food joints and I love to support local businesses but I will not recommend them and have already told my family members not to go there, they'll be disappointed.
