You'd be surprised what you can get in that washing machine. The washing machines are always clean and well maintained. As for the laundry mat itself its clean well lit and has seating available . You can also use the tanning booth there . Although I wonder if anyone uses it. Interesting concept to say the least. The women that work there are always friendly and helpful. It's a short distance from where we live and in terms of a laundry mat it's my favorite hands down. If you forget your detergent or fabric softener or even bleach you can buy it from the vending machine.

I'll tell you why not. Out of three items only one was actually clean. One black and white dress had an obvious white stain that looked like crusted deodorant on the front left breast pocket. The white skirt was worse with stains in three places and a customer note that said we need more time. However, the lady who handed me my items didn't mention anything, there was never any phone call saying they needed more time, no discount, no apology, no nothing. Did they think I wouldn't notice? I essentially paid $23.97 to have one skirt cleaned and a dress and another skirt not much better off than when I turned it in. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere.

I just was unimpressed. I went home, searched (on Yelp, of course) for a new tailor and went back to get my pants. The other tailor was nice, smiled, and had my order completed for a minimal price in just two days. The only reason I decided to go ahead with such a bad review? I called later that week to speak to a manager or the owners to tell them about the bad experience and was told that my request to have the pants hemmed sooner than two weeks was ridiculous and that they had many important orders to fill. Not an apology or a 'please understand' - I got the feeling they just did not want my business. So they don't have it.

The water is always hot when you need it to be and even on their busiest days, there is still always room for one more. The atmosphere is always pleasant and it just has that old school style about it!!! It is peaceful, old-fashioned, no-frills, full of a variety of tried and true machines, including 35+ pound high capacity washers as well as top loading Maytag agitating washers and an array of large and small wall dryers. It is typically two dollars to wash a regular load in a top loader and $1.50 to start a large dryer for 30 minutes with each additional six minutes $.25. The vintage Maytag washers are reliable and get my clothes clean. Fellow patrons and the proprietor have been helpful and pleasant. I prefer this laundromat and am willing to go out of my way as it has plenty of space to spread out. Often the door is open with an industrial fan going to keep fresh air circulating. I don't like to spend any more time doing laundry than absolutely necessary, so I appreciate the ease of getting in and out with clean laundry with as little drama and cost as possible.
