They bento box (combo) meals are generously proportioned (we usually end up with enough for two meals out of each combo). I notice a lot of folks rave about this place. First time here last week. Ordered the hama roll, salmon and yellowtail sushi. While food seemed fresh, and the service was very good, I am more a sushi traditionalist. This place seems more designed towards western palettes. I think every sushi restaurant should deliver in icebox filled with ice . Specially in 107 degrees temperature and don't do a few stops instead of one delivery at a time . This is the second restaurant that delivered sushi to us and we got extremely sick since noon , it's 11:30 pm and we're both sitting by the bathroom door . We might end up at the emergency room tonight . Either their fish is not sushi grade or got bad on the way here in a styrofoam container ( which is bad by itself) and left on the passenger side of the delivery guy with sun shining on it, and god knows if the AC was on or not . We did feel the bad quality of the fish and got very sick 1-2 hrs after eating it . God help us ! We try to help the businesses , we could pick it up because we live 3 minutes away , but asked for delivery, paid $16 extra for this and that charges just to support them . The least they can do is use safe food and deliver in safe dishes and in iceboxes . Sorry can't write anymore, have to run to the bathroom :( read more

Love this place! Favorite sushi spot because of it's good quality fish, reasonable price, and that almost everything on the regular menu is on the AYCE menu. Ordered take out here. I placed the order at 7 pm, the staff said 40 to 60 mins. We showed up to pick up our order at the 50-minute mark and were told 20 more minutes. We waited an additional hour for our food. People waiting to be seated, sat, ate, and left before we got our food. The restaurant was packed and trying to be patient, but at a certain point, you know you are spending money to eat cold, soggy food, and it just is too much. We were told that the dine in guests are served first, and I can understand wanting to turn tables, but it would have been better to just not take the to go orders. I would have appreciated someone expediting the food. At a certain point when you know someone's dinner has been sitting in Styrofoam for an hour, you should just get the order done. We were offered a discount but the food was really not enjoyable. The management needs to pick it up and get a system down if they are going to allow to go and delivery orders. The cucumbers were so soggy literally no crunch. After waiting 30 minutes our roles never came and by then the restaurant had filled Up and every single table around us got everything they ordered, which was a lot of food but we had yet to get ours. The service is awesome in particular Stephanie. She not only caters to all your needs, she learns them and anticipates them on your subsequent visits. I come here at least once a week. YES they are best value, the meat cuts are larger than other sushi places BUT I don't come here for the prices. I came here for the VALUE. The tuna on one roll was so deeply artificially colored red, it didn't even taste like tuna. And the tuna cut roll was completely wrong: too big, too much tuna, too little rice, added cucumber, resulting in a roll lacking the delicate flavor and balance of traditional Tekka Maki cut roll.
