I'm a fan! Our usual place is Kinza, but we've heard so many wonderful reviews about this place that we decided to give it a shot. It's always packed (the lot fills up SUPER fast, and the wait is out the door...hence the 4/5) so we've never had a chance to actually eat here, but one Saturday we decided on an early-ish dinner and went right at 5pm when they opened (and there were already people outside the door waiting for them to open!). We ended up doing the $26.95 All You Can Eat, which is a great deal, good variety! The sea scallops were AMAZING. Only 1 order (2 pieces) per person with the AYCE though, but OMG. The portions of the nigiri fish were quite substantial as well, which was a nice surprise, especially for AYCE. The only downside was the sashimi. It was very cold (obviously recently frozen) and actually a bit tough in texture (likely due to the storage). It wasn't bad per se, but it clearly was not Beverly Hills quality or anything like that. It was a new flavor in sushi and it was delicious! Also... If u love jalapeño poppers, you'll LOVE the jalapeño shrimp roll. Cream cheese, shrimp and spicy tuna (yup... I know... But stick with me here), w spicy mayo and sriracha and eel sauce. No rice. Awesome! And spicy! In just the right way. Get the all u can eat if ur hungry and are goin to get a few appetizers - skip the garlic edamame here, the garlic tastes like it came from the pre-chopped jar vs a fresh chop from the chef. Would have given 5 stars, but the two waitresses on duty CONSTANTLY interrupted us to ask if they could get us anything else - no joke - like every 5 minutes. It was horribly annoying and one of my biggest pet peeves when goin out to eat. And as usual in this situation, they walked by over an Over after the credit card was on the table - at least 15 minutes of us sitting waiting and unable to get their attention. I've been going here for a few years now and can honestly say they have one of the best AYCE anywhere. The rolls are always fresh and the nigiri has the freshest fish. There are a few rolls that are dressed up too much with sauces and topping but the amigo and tarek rolls are my favorite here and have a perfect balanced flavor. Their menu is pretty similar to that of nearby Sushi 661, with a few variations here or there. They get very busy at nights and pretty much all day on the weekends, so I'll ahead or be prepared to wait. It's worth it for a great time and sushi eating experience. read more

Ever since my husband discovered this place, I've become a regular customer. I always have a great experience here. The food is awesome, as well as the service. You can always expect to get fresh ingredients at a low price for the quality. The waiters are very friendly, and they seem very well trained. I Got a chance to talk to the manager here, who was also very friendly and so hard working! Overall, it was probably one of the best Japanese restaurants that I've been to. I ordered the appetizers: garlic edamame, beef teriyaki, baked mussels, miso soup, and shrimp tempura. The beef teriyaki was alright. The garlic edamame was my favorite! And both the miso soup (small bowl) and shrimp tempura (3 pieces) were great. The baked mussels were reaaaaaally good too. Next, I ordered the specialty items white fish sashimi and sex on the beach. I wanted to order the live uni, but they already ran out for the day. Both were really tasty, but I loved the sex on the beach! It doesn't come with rice and it melts in your mouth. Definitely must get this when you order! The salmon and tuna sushi were basically sashimi with how much rice they gave us, or I should say how little, but I'm not complaining. The salmon was the star and was really fresh. The tempura tuna roll and OMG roll were delicious as well! My only gripe would be that if you want to order the ramen or udon from AYCE, it will be the regular size bowl. I was too filled to try to eat a huge bowl, but I'll probably try next time. read more

However, I was not a huge fan of the roll I ordered -- spicy albacore special -- but the other roll I tried -- spicy shrimp & crab roll -- was good. Honestly extremely disappointed with service last night. Ordered over $100 worth of food around 7pm on grubhub and was informed that food would be delivered within an hour. After 45 minutes of waiting I got a notification on my phone that our order had been canceled. I called immediately called the restaurant to see if it was some sort of error and basically was told "we're busy so we canceled it" I understand it is a holiday, and if we had been waiting for 10-15 minutes and the order was canceled it would have been no big deal however we waited close to an hour just for them to cancel our order, late when everything is getting ready to close? The girl who answered the phone was extremely kind and apologetic and tried to reason with the "head chef" who said he would reinstate our order which would be another hour of waiting on top of the hour we already waited but at that point we were over it. But if you are anticipating a large crowd on a holiday, why is it active to order online if they are just going to be canceled? It literally ruined our plans because by the time they canceled our order there was nowhere else taking orders or places to go sit down to eat. I go to Mr sushi all the time, recommend it to everyone and it's always first on my list on where I want to go. First time here. I was weary with the yelp reviews, but all the pictures from this place looked so delicious. We had to try it out ourselves. In the beginning, the staff was very attentive. They got our drinks and orders going. Then the crowd on a Saturday night started showing up, and we saw less of our waitress. No one to flag down for drink refills and add ons. Once we finally got someone to add on an item, it literally took 20 mins for a two piece roll. I think they knew that we were already annoyed at the services. FOOD: the food was delicious. The outside of the store looks pretty plain- but never judge a book by its cover! The inside was welcoming and modern feeling, from the painted wall background to the chalkboard with little drawings on it. When my sister and I came, lunch hadn't quite officially started yet, so the service was more attentive. I could tell the sushi makers and servers had regulars since some would talk more casually with the other diners, which I always think is kinda cool. Anyway, coming from a hectic day of Xmas shopping, my sister and I were HUNGRY (who knew shopping worked up an appetite right)? We knew what we wanted- and to our pleasure, they had these AWESOME lunch deals. I got the bento deal: assorted tempura, salad, rice, and gyoza with my choice of assorted sashimi and sushi (nigiri I believe), while my sister got the ramen deal: one original broth ramen with pieces of California roll on the side. We didn't have to wait long for the food to come and oh my god- It was like looking at a mirage of a lake in a desert. Wow! A lot of good food for a good price! It was so great and filling- :) oh major approval points there. Near the end though, this little place started filling up really fast and soon the service was hard to get the attention of. It took them a long time to respond to the stare you give when you wanna get dessert then get out to go home. All in all, a pretty nice place :) could Improve on service when it gets busy though! All You Can Eat Sushi!! You would think that it's a hoax... You're going to get as much rice as possible and as little fish as possible. Well... NOT SO MY FELLOW YELPERS!! We will eat a bunch of rice lol... So we had dinner there and I have to say that this place rocks!! We stated off with Edamame, then some baked mussels , then hit the sushi. We had spicy tuna hand roll, albacore hand roll, salmon sushi, albacore sushi, a deluxe crunch roll, a sex on the beach (which is spicy but Really good!!), and a regular crunch roll, and of course, my wife's favorite... miso soup -I still don't get the whole soup thing... I like solids, not water. Anyways enough about me... I have to say that EVERY item we ate not only tasted great, but was in amazing portions as well!! Not what we expected! We expected on eating a lot of rice... Lol As for service, well other reviews said that service wasnt good, and I think they're right. Service was GREAT!! The waitress was pretty well attentive, and she knew exactly what was in every roll on the menu! Very impressive cause they have a lot of rolls... Overall, this place is wonderful! The pieces of fish are huge, and what else amazed me is that everything is on the all you can eat menu not just certain items like most all you can eat sushi restaurants. A great sushi place to eat and definitely worth giving a shot. I personally love their 8.99$ sushi bento box. I order that whenever I have the chance. You can also order sushi rolls, all you can eat sushi, but I find that you don't get much food for what you pay for. The all you can eat sushi is close to 25$ per person and it a good deal, but you can't take the leftover sushi to go. I would say you save around 15$ on average if you go this route. The other orders on the menu are sashimi, egg rolls, tempura and various other appetizers. The inside of the place feels small and the tables in the middle are crammed, but it shouldn't effect the whole experience. The food here is on point. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and decor of the place as well. The sushi bar is located on the left side and is also a bar, so you can get sake if you like Japanese alcohol. I noticed there was a bathroom in the back of the restaurant and television sets inside. But, I haven't been able to find any WiFi while using my phone. Their service is very good. This was the first time I tried authentic ramen and it was absolutely wonderful. The amount and quality of food I received was a lot given the inexpensive cost. Our waiter, Jin, was incredibly kind and had a great sense of humor. His attitude made the experience that much better. I recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent Japanese food. read more
