This time I ordered the Quesabirria taco plate, switched out the rice for beans and I was very happy. The meat was tender and flavorful, it just needs salt and/or more seasoning. I felt the same about the dipping gravy. However, I would definitely order this again. The hubs got the carnitas taco plate that comes with rice and beans. He enjoyed it very much. This is the former World of Beers converted to Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant! There are about eight or nine Mr. Tequila around Naples and Fort Myers area. I've been to 4 or 5 local Mr. Tequila. So, I may be a little biased! Mr. Tequila renovated the World of Beers with fun, colorful and friendly ambiance. The chairs and booths are very comfortable with their Mexican accent! Stopped by for lunch and were seated immediately. The staff bring the complimentary salsa and chips. For some strange reason, I just loved Mr. Tequila's salsa. Perhaps their right balance of taste. I ordered a Steak Fajitas with a Modelo beer. The fajitas was piping hot; the steak with onion, tomatoes, peppers blended in and seared properly. Needless to say, I enjoyed my lunch! The staff is friendly and the price is reasonable. Meanwhile, my eyes were on Fish Veracruz, Camarones a la Diabla, Caldo De Marsicos and Molcajete. Will be back soon for dinner, Señor! read more

Service was not good this evening. I had to ask for a server to come take our order. Food came out quickly but then we had to wait for him to come back, he was stuck behind the bar! Could see us but couldn't get to us. Come on! You have great food, but a sat nite is when the bartender shouldn't be waiting tables. We will be back but not on Sat night! read more

Stopped in for dinner. We had chicken fajitas and Enchiladas Yolanda steak. Fajitas tasted great everything was warm and came out very quickly wife enjoyed her steak enchiladas with all the fixings. Waitress helped my wife pick out her meal from her recommendation. Inside decor was nice and the bar carries a big selection of tequilas. Chairs are wooden with carved characters and painted vibrantly. read more

The food was fresh and high-quality, but seriously lacked flavor. Portion size is huge, but you're paying for it. The room is clean and new, but the decor is a little too Americano/Mexican - and the bar is just plain uncomfortable for anyone under about 6'6". Hopefully training has occurred for the bartender. (An expensive shot of tequila isn't 3/4 of an ounce - that one ounce glass it was serveref in was actually just funny.... but It still had more tequila than the margaritas... and I really just wanted a drink, not an orchid. I'll try it again in a few months, but unfortunately, I'm not in a hurry to go back. read more

My first time coming here on a Sunday afternoon and let me tell you I loved it. It has a very cute Mexican cultural colorful decor along with Spanish classic music playing in the background. Chips and salsa is complimentary with an excellent salsa taste. My waitress Jennifer was a great host, very attentive and sweet. I ordered a tostada de camaron (shrimp cevivhe) & steak fajitas mix with chicken & shrimp, both tasting very fresh and just made. The colors of the place is just beautiful! Service and food was amazing, only complaint is the hostess upfront. We have been multiple times before she started working and have never had a complaint. The said hostess in question has been beyond rude every-time we have gone in and she is working. Didn't walk us to our table, had a rude attitude when trying to communicate with her, and we could over hear her talking disrespectfully about other customers in the restaurant. We had asked our server who she was to give detail to our review and he had told us her name was Genesis. I really do love this place me and my family come every week but now we feel the atmosphere has been off and it has effected our want to dine there. read more

The server was fine- friendly and efficient. Machine margarita was terrible......seriously, a Mexican restaurant called Mr Tequila should have the best Marg! This one tasted like premix bottle from a grocery store. Chips and salsa, the salsa was flavorless and flat (Mexican ketchup?) "Burritos Mexicanos" w steak- the steak was good but no flavor. The dish was just meh overall. Not terrible I guess. The place was essentially empty on a weeknight, and I understand why. There are better options. read more

One of our favorites we go to a lot however this past few times it has lost some quality with food and drink. The fajitas used to come out large and sizzling now they are 1/2 the size no seasoning and barely warm no steaming sizzling. Last few months it's been this way. Hope they will go back to the way they started. Really love the atmosphere. Margaritas lost a little flavor too! We will keep going but just hoping they go back to the opening days! read more

Perhaps the most uninspired Mexican food ever. Mozzarella cheese on my chicken enchiladas? Flavorless chicken. Chips and salsa from the grocery store. A taco in a fried Taco Bell taco shell? Loved many things about this place.... Salsas both the regular and the hotter salsa were excellent. Guacamole was excellent. Chicken fajitas were expertly cooked. Wife really liked their steak tacos. Beautifully decor and very clean. First time there (stopped on the way to getting dropped off at the airport) and will definitely be back. Server Brenda was excellent as well. Really bland non-authentic Mexican food at high prices. Everything we ordered was pretty tasteless and lacking any quality. $20 for a chicken enchilada plate and they give a tiny table spoon of guacamole with it, same for the taco salad. Kids meals are $10, more than any other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to and just not good. I get that it's a fancy looking restaurant in a more expensive area but I'de much rather have good food at a humble location. read more

Beautiful restaurant but we walked in and it was empty. A not very social hostess sat us down. Didn't even say someone will be with you nor a smile. We watched as staff were in the back shooting the breeze. We looked over menu. Nobody ever came over and we decided to leave. We didn't order. We feel bad for the owner or investors.
