It was a great time spending time with friends at this location. Our waitress Donna had the entire restaurant when we entered so she was quite busy but capable of handling our orders when she could. We enjoyed the chips and salsa that tasted fresh and homemade. The establishment felt very clean and organized. There was a lot space between tables and gave it an airy feel. I loved how it was an open concept where one could sit outside and still feel the cool air from within. The drinks tasted fresh and were not weak like a lot of places during happy hour or taco Tuesday can make them. One thing I did not like was the price of the fishbowl upgrade. I was unaware the original price would be added to the fishbowl price and do not feel as though I got the best value from that. In the future I would perhaps choose another beverage option. The skinny organic margarita was delicious and I was happy that was an option. I also enjoyed the split check options and that the manager came by during the meal to make sure everyone was having a nice time. read more

We had a great experience here! Fun atmosphere and great service! The most difficult part of eating here was making a choice between tacos! There are so many tacos tonight choose from at this place! I ended up choosing The South American and the Garden, which were both amazing. We happened to go on a Monday, which had $5 margaritas, so that was a nice bonus. From start to finish, our server did an amazing job! There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and parking was no problem! Overall, great experience. We'll be back! read more

We strolled into Naples around 8:45pm. This town shuts down around 9pm so finding a restaurant still open was a little more difficult than imagined. We settled on this spot. Can't go wrong with Tex-Mex. We were seated quickly near the garage door allowing us to feel the AC but also the warm breeze outside. I ordered the steak burrito. It was a little smaller than expected but still pretty good. Had it been earlier I would've ordered one of their margs. They have a burrito contest to eat a 6 lb burrito In 45 mins. Very intriguing! Just a pretty standard Mexican spot. The food wasn't the best I've ever had but it was still tasty. Honestly the decor is the cutest thing about it and is what convinced us to stop in. Plus it was open a little later than other restaurants in the area which is a plus, when everything else closes so early. Out waitress was nice and provided some local tips on places to go and see, since we were just visiting. She was a little bit slow to get to us, and the restaurant wasn't all that busy. I ordered the fajitas- pretty standard and a good portion of meat. I had half as leftovers. My friend ordered a burrito and thought it was pretty good. Holy cow this was absolutely horrible. Like this makes Taco Bell look like fine dining. First of this taco was all oil. Not even flavorful just pure oil and the fries could have put me into cardiac arrest with how much salt was crusted on top of them. Very disappointing a lot of better place to visit in Naples. Came in for lunch today with my husband....place was packed to the brim (new years day). We have been here a few times before food is great and chill atmosphere. There was a new guy working today doing just about everything....hosting, serving, greeting people, delivering food to tables. Andrew was kind, gracious, and funny and an absolute delight. Saturday night dinner and drinks for four people...total failure! Mckenzie, our server was hesitant to get our meals served at the same time. She blamed it on the kitchen. Then when the fajitas came out which were ordered with no onions for a food allergy, we're loaded with onions. She just laughed and they went back to the kitchen. The manager was asked for three times to have a discussion about this colossal failure of service she never, or he never showed up at the end. The check was presented, not even with an apology or an acknowledgment that we still wanted to see the manager. The food was not bad. Overall the drinks were not bad overall, but the experience was a colossal failure for a Saturday night out in Naples, Florida. read more

Very nice place with friendly staff. However it's a bit slow but once you order you get your food very fast. The nachos and tacos were very nicely presented. But it was not pleasant to eat at all, it was ok but sooo much salt. If this wasn't the case it would have been excellent. I absolutely loved my experience here. Every single thing we got was amazing. Everyone at the table agreed that their taco/tacos were fabulous. Personally I believe that they were the best tacos I've every had. The corn was out of this world. I finished it so quickly. The service was also spectacular. Our server's name was Adam and he was wonderful. He was so sweet and helpful with telling us things about the food. Last but not least, the atmosphere was wonderful. It was so inviting and open. Food is full of flavor and delivered to your table quickly. I have had many experiences at tacos and tequila and have never been disappointed. They have a great layout of the restaurant with the central area being a bar and lots of tables to sit out in the restaurant area. I really like how their menu has original tacos that cater to any palate. Highly recommend going there on a Tuesday or Sunday for the two-for-one margaritas. I had a cucumberita tonight, and it was full of flavor, and very refreshing at the same time. I got the Baja taco and cuban Taco. The Baja taco with blackened mahi is refreshing and delicious. The Cuban taco is well balanced, with flavor in every single bite. And I will be back here again as this is one of my go to taco and margarita spots. read more

As someone who works in hospitality opening hotels and restaurants around the US....I really wanted to like this place. The bartender just ruined everyone's vibe. He was really young and just full of attitude and pompous. He would get offended with any adjustment anyone asked regarding a drink. He doesn't even seem old enough to drink which makes it comical. I asked if we could order food and he didn't want to be bothered with me so he asked his co worker to do it. He just really set the tone in the wrong way. Disappointing Policy and Poor Management Response I've been a regular at this restaurant, but after my recent experience, I won't be returning. They now charge for extra salsa--even though the chips are unlimited. That's not just confusing, it's absurd. If you're going to offer bottomless chips, charging for a small cup of salsa on the side feels like a petty and unnecessary upcharge. I brought this up to the manager during my last visit, expecting a reasonable explanation. Instead, I was met with hostility and a condescending attitude. The manager--an ungroomed man with a beard who acted like he was still in high school--clearly hadn't been trained in handling customer concerns. He offered no understanding, just attitude. Sadly, what used to be a regular stop for me has lost my business. A small charge isn't the issue--it's the way it was handled that made it clear my loyalty didn't matter. read more

It appears poorly managed and prepare to wait even with tables open. You will wait especially during the snowbird season. It's basic tacos. Simple. Hard to mess up. Usually good & quick service. Sometimes gets slow when super crowded (Tuesdays and weekends). They have great happy hour deals, the best queso & guacamole, and very good salsa! I could sit there and eat the chips and dips for hours. The al pastor tacos are delicious. Can never go wrong with a Sunday Taco, Moms Tacos, Cheeseburger tacos or really any! As I consider each review I start with 5 stars based on expectations and drop from there. Thankfully, no stars were dropped on this visit! The hostess was fun and a bit sassy (love it) and sat us quickly. We were greeted by our server and given beverages quickly, including a very tasty blood orange Margherita that wasn't short on tequila. I had my stand-by carnitas street (traditional) tacos and a side of guacamole/chips - all of which tasted great. There could have been a bit more cilantro on the tacos and the salsa could have used some spice, but going back to my original statement...my expectations were met, or exceeded so 5 stars were earned. So, once again, my family sent me out to get them lunch and the kids wanted quesadillas so we decided to try Tacos and Tequila Cantina. Pretty close to Naples Cay where we were staying and they had good (mostly) reviews. My daughter and I were greeted by a VERY nice hostess and waitress who wanted us to stay instead of getting takeout. Seemed like it would be a really fun for dinner or happy hour. We ordered two chicken quesadillas and one order of Baja Tacos (grilled Mahi Mahi) with an extra side of chips and salsa to go (I had leftovers from the previous night so I did t partake). While we were waiting for the food We sat at the bar and ordered a Tropical Margarita - Corralejo Silver Tequila, Cointreau, guava purée, lime and pineapple juices, churro sugar rim (really tasty, but $12). Bartender was very good, but his 'helper' must've been new...she seemed kind of clueless. Got the food back to the hotel and the kids liked the quesadillas a lot-my son especially liked that they used shredded chicken. My wife's tacos were actually just one taco. She thought it was pretty good, but for the price I expected two. Like most places down here in Naples, it's a little pricey, but the flavor and quality of the food, the friendly service, and the great margarita gets them four stars. read more

Four of us dined outdoors for a late lunch around 2:30 on 2/12/25. We had chips and guacamole, specialty tacos, enchiladas and a cheeseburger taco served "salad" style. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. When we left one of our friends left her purse hanging on her chair. She didn't realize until we were 10 minutes down the road. This caused her much distress. Happily, her purse was safely awaiting our return at the hostess stand. Everything was intact!
