It isn't often I take notice of exceptional customer care but I want to share my appreciation for Nick and the service team at Mr Tire. They scheduled a simple tire puncture repair straight away after two other tire centers told me it would be a week or more. Nick even accommodated me when I missed the allotted time due to heavy traffic. The repair was finished sooner than expected, at a fair price along with an explanation of their two-part puncture seal system. As the retired owner or a nationally recognized retail/service establishment, I am truly impressed with Mr Tire's staff and recommend them for both value and service. read more

Low tire pressure light went on during our vacation in Maine, faced a 6+ hour drive home and did not want to do it with that condition. A local friend recommended Mr. Tire. I made an appointment for the day of our trip home (was on an island so could not do it earlier). We showed up 10 minutes early, car was addressed immediately, and 30 minutes later we were on the road, very relieved that the problem was fixed and that our drive home was not derailed. Thanks Mr. Tire. so I am 46 years old and been going to them since I was 16. unfortunately they must have new employees that know nothing about mechanics. i had service done new tires oil change that sort of thing. well driving down the road a few days later the driver side front tire fell off. obviously this caused damage which they did make good on because they had over tightened the lug nuts. which I would have excepted and forgive however when i recently attempted to change my oil myself to save a few bucks I found the oil drain plug and oil filter cap had both also been over tightened and stripped. I will never be going to them again after being a customer for 30 years. if they have employees that can't even do a proper oil change how can you trust them for anything? read more

To start off I'm a resident of the Thomason area, I attended high school and grade school with who I believe is the owners son Zack. I have done business with mr tire before and have had (4star) Fair service. This date of service took place on 06/01/2021, The reason of service was due to a "Reduced engine power" reading on my dashboard and lack of power on the throttle of my 2011 Chevy Tahoe. I reached out to Mr tire via phone call after they failed to contact me on the sceduale finish time. I was notified at that time that my Tahoe need a new throttle body and throttle position sensor. I was notified by Mr tire that this problem occurs quite often Especially on Chevy Tahoes and other suvs. The work was then complete and I paid $504. The part alone costed me $378. i wasn't told at this time that I was receiving a refurbished part that sometimes turns up faulty (This irritated me quite a bit after paying 500$ / $504.29 to be exact). After calling around and doing my own research you can purchase the same part for $131.99 threw advanced auto or around $135.00 at auto Zone. And those parts I believe Are New not (REFURBISHED!) After coming to conclusions I over paid, I was just happy that my car was fixed. UNTIL the morning after on my way to work in Rockport. Like any morning besides a smaller wallet I headed to work at 7:30am, nearing Walmart my car started to make a chugging sound as before and all of a sudden the engine light appeared and the same message popped up reading "reduced engine power". I was stuck on the side of the road calling mr.Tire. I told them I thought the issue was fixed and they told me to come back in. I then waited four days for Them to Contact me and they failed to do so. I called on the fourth day and was told they haven't had time. I was extremely understanding and nice even tho I was very fusterated with the whole situation. The next day (day 5) I called mr tire and was told once again my Tahoe was all set, I quote "the Tahoe is all set, we drove around for over 30 minutes to make sure". So I then called a taxi paid 20$ and got to mr.Tire. With out any sort of apology or reimbursement for the trouble they handing me my key and sent me away. I then drove about 15 minutes 8/9 miles threw town into Rockport where THE PROBLEM HAPPENED FOR THE 3RE TIME. At this point I was fed up as anyone would be, they failed to fix the problem and I was left stranded once again. I called mr tire And told them once again the problem happened. There reaction was non caring what so ever telling me just to bring the vehicle in again Like it was no issue. People have life's, jobs, and things they need to do! I stated this "im stuck in Rockport, I don't know what the f**k to do" I wasn't yelling, or saying f**k to anyone. As all adults swear when they talk that's how it came out and he knew that. All of a sudden I was told this "We are done fucking dealing with you, BRING YOUR F**king CAR BACK IN AND WE GIVE YOU YOUR F**king MONEY BACK AND PUT BACK IN YOUR BAD F**king part" I was completely shocked, This was the worse service I have EVER received. I was sworn at Atleast three times, and called a f**king a**h*le when he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional beyond believe. No customer deserves to be treated like dirt from these guys. I will do everything I can to make sure they don't receive any business by anyone I know or anyone that ask me About car repairs. I am left with the same problem I had in the begging that they failed to fix. Over $500 waisted down the drain, and a huge headache and a mind in disbeleif. They should be ashamed of themselves and be closed down, I will decide myself and with my lawyer if I shall take them to civil Court for this matter. read more

When I called and made an appointment I told them exactly what I needed. I emphasized that the front end was not right. When I got there they had nothing and I had to make a new appointment. Second time when I asked about the sticker that I wanted I was ranted at and taken behind the counter to be shown that sticker was not on the list. The front end was on the list but when I looked at the receipt later I realized they had not even looked at it. When I went in to ask them about they got nasty. Enough's enough. Due to their incompetence and rudeness I am NEVER going back. Hey, guys, Your incompetence is not my fault. It gets one star because they won't let me do less. read more

I used to think these guys were the best. My opinion has changed as the last time I took my vehicle in for an inspection, after I told them the left front headlight was out after picking it up with a new sticker I noticed that the same headlight was out. I called them and they wanted me to wait to get fit in. Which I though was quite ridiculous considering that they didn't fix the light. Then they accused me of being rude after I brought the vehicle in, refusing to admit that maybe they didn't fix the headlight. I would have thought for a return customer who was quite happy with their service, they should have said, " sorry about that come right in and we will fix it up", instead of maintaining their belief in their infallibility read more
