I called around to multiple tire places and Bay Area was the only one that told me to come in now, everyone else was busy and told me to come later or the next day. These guys had me in and out in less than 20 mins confirming that my tire was fine and there was no hole or leak. They said the Wawa pump is notorious for messing up peoples tires even more and to not rely on the accuracy of that pump. So they sent me along the way without charging me! What great value. They also told me that in the future to just come in anytime and they will create a space for me in the garage and check the tire pressure and fill the tires with air anytime I need to, complimentary, instead of going to the Wawa. Really kind service!!! Thank you guys. Hopefully I will not have car issues here in the future but if I do and I am in town again, I will be sure to bring it to these guys.

If I am unable to leave my car for service, they propose a time for me to come in that will minimize my wait. I recently had my vehicle towed in after ALL the warning lights on the dash began flashing simultaneously. When the car arrived at the shop it was not acting up. The mechanics spent two days trying to replicate the issue. When the problem finally recurred, they determined it to be something that required dealer attention. I then had the car towed to Hertrich Honda and Bay Area did not charge me anything, stating they would not feel comfortable charging to diagnose something they were not qualified to fix. I give them 5 stars for honesty and performance. Carol H

This was a job that realistically should have taken a couple of hours. The TPMS issue was never resolved. Initially, I was told the sensors had been programmed correctly and that the warning lights were caused by incorrect tire pressure -- one of the most ignorant explanations I've ever heard from a mechanic. The reality was simple: the inner rear TPMS sensors were never programmed at all, which was the entire reason the truck was brought in. They eventually admitted that after the fact. Next was the wheel balancing. My truck has custom powder-coated wheels. Instead of using stick-on weights like the factory setup already had, they installed hammer-on steel weights on the OUTER edge of the rims, damaging the powder coating in the process. Any competent shop should have immediately recognized the proper balancing method after removing the existing stick-on weights. As for the emergency brake concern, they never properly diagnosed it. I specifically brought the truck in for a loud noise under load -- not the normal sound of the electronic parking brake actuator engaging. They dismissed the issue without ever meaningfully reproducing or testing the concern. To top it all off, they broke a wheel stud using an impact gun on the lug nuts rather than properly torquing them as a qualified mechanic should. Because of the excessive use of the impact gun, I now have concerns about stretching or cracking of the remaining wheel studs and will likely be replacing all of them as a precautionary safety measure. Between the damaged powder coating on the wheels and the wheel stud issue, I am now facing well over $1,000 in damages to either have the wheels professionally re-powder coated or replaced, along with replacing the studs they improperly handled. What made the experience even worse was my conversation with Mike, the owner. From the beginning of the call, he was defensive and adamant that everything had been performed correctly -- until several of those claims were proven untrue. Once confronted with the facts, the conversation quickly became unprofessional, including yelling on the phone rather than attempting to resolve the situation appropriately. Two days wasted, damage to my wheels, unresolved issues, poor communication, and additional damage caused while the vehicle was in their possession. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Steer clear of Dad's Garage unless you want your vehicle returned with more issues than it had when you dropped it off.

Recently, I faced a situation where one of my tires went flat after hitting a curb, and another tire had a slow leak due to a nail. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. Thank you for resolving what was a time consuming, frustrating experience!! I'm so glad my friend recommended you!!

I brought four wheels to Radial Tire to have a new set of all-seasons mounted and balanced. My car runs a staggered setup, meaning the rear wheels and tires are physically wider than the fronts. Since I maintain a small fleet of my own vehicles, I do almost all my own mechanical work, but tire mounting is one of the few things I have to outsource. Unfortunately, this experience highlighted a critical breakdown in basic quality control. I brought the wheels in loose to make the job as straightforward as possible for the shop, but they sat there for a few days before being touched. When I finally picked them up, I noticed the front tires were stretched onto the wider rear wheels, and vice versa. While the team corrected the mistake immediately once it was pointed out, this isn't just a minor technical oversight. Mismatched staggered tires can lead to a catastrophic bead failure or blowout at highway speeds. It is a severe safety hazard that could easily cause a fatal accident if it goes unnoticed before the wheels are bolted onto a vehicle. On top of the critical mounting error, the general pride in workmanship was non-existent. The wheels were handed back to me covered in caked-on mounting paste all over the outer rims without even a basic effort to wipe them down. To make matters worse, the shop also misplaced the summer tires I explicitly stated I wanted to keep. Management did the right thing by waiving the mounting and balancing fee, but at the end of the day, I am still short a set of my own property. I understand that mistakes happen, but a triple failure of safety verification, basic cleanliness, and property management means I can't risk bringing my vehicles back here, nor can I recommend them to any of the local car groups I'm a part of.
