They know how to do business!!! Customer Service is 100/10!!! I called in advanced to see if they had the tire I needed and spoke with the most pleasant gentleman ever! He said he had it in stock, I asked if I need an appointment, he said come on in and we'll get right to work ‍ I have never been to Auto shop that takes as much pride and effort into their profession! When I pulled in, their packing lot is clean, no clutter. Easy to find parking. Before I even walked in I was greeted. As I walked in, there was another gentlemen at the counter, I explained I called in about my tire (less than 8 minutes) and Like a Kane and Undertaker Tag Team match, The mechanic walked in and told me to drive right on up when the next car comes out. Which turned out to be Mr. Brent the same gentleman who talked to me on the phone! Who was also the gentleman who greeted me outside as I walked in! I'm a sucker for customer service and that right there tells me that someone is paying attention. A lady from the back even came up to ask if I was already helped. THEY ARE ON POINT do you hear me! My silly self was so caught up in giving a beginning review that I missed my turn (don't miss your turn people!!!) That's how fast and efficient they are getting things work done!!! I thank Mr. Brent for noticing and giving me a quick response with addressing that I missed it. But not even 5ish I can say minutes I was in the tire lane and they were giving my baby new feet and a rotation. Side notes: In the midst of waiting, I asked to use the bathroom. Which is public. And I must say it is the cleanest I've ever seen. Sadly I couldn't take any pictures because I was next and I had my car keys ‍ don't mind me just asking Mr. Brent educated me on how the walls of tires are made and where certain spots can BUT are not recommended to be plugged due to it only being a temp fix. Which he recommended it be fixed entirely..we both had the same idea They kept me informed and THROUGHLY inspected the condition of my car. If they aren't coming to you even about the little things then they aren't treating it like their own! They checked my tires before looking and found a second slow leak that they showed me and fixed immediately. Every service here is worth the price!! We were traveling from SC to Easton for Thanksgiving. We discovered a flat tire late Saturday afternoon. AAA found slow leak. Driver said go to Scurry's on Monday as everyone was closed. I was there at 7:45 Monday morning. Explained we had to get back that day. They took me right in, plugged the tire and off I went. Very friendly from start to finish. I had a tire with a slow leak and my Mom suggested Spurry's. Also, my car battery terminals were corroded with a lot of gunk. (Dealership told me I needed new terminals, I declined based on price.) Spurry's said they could look at both several hours from when we called. I was driving in fear and Kerry helped me so much!!! First, he came out & said I didn't need new terminals, he cleaned them and sprayed with protectant. The tire was quickly plugged, and I was out of there! I'm not sure if he could sense how utterly terrified I was, or if he could sense my "money is funny," but he quickly took care of me with kindness. Additionally, all other customer interactions seemed incredibly positive. The shop was busy but functioning like a well-oiled machine. First rule of customer service: counter before phones. Don't walk away from a customer standing at your counter and leave them waiting while you answer the phone and talk at length with someone else who's not physically there to ask for your services. Second rule of customer service: listen to all of the customer's needs (not just the first one they mention in the 5 seconds you gave them to tell you why they came in) before you cut them off and walk away. For Md State inspections and all my tire needs my family and I will always go to Spurry's . It's a wonderful local family business. It's amazing how friendly and how quickly they are resolving and turning over issues . Unfortunately a lot of people these days are very angry and demand special treatment. Nobody is perfect and people make mistakes, but grace and patience should be our approach . During the short wait I experienced several angry people who were treated with Grace and Patience by Spurry's . I had went in to get a. Tire plugged , I was there for approximately 15 minutes...pulled the screw it was visible..plug ,put back on give it air .they charged me $45.00.which was a shock .my husband called and was told that his overhead was what was causing the price .I googled the price for a general tire repair and it was between $10.00 and $20.00 that was price gauging in the worst way .I didn't think to ask the price since the last time I had a flat fixed it cost me $20.00.lesson learned!! read more

There was no miscommunication I said I wanted to take the car elsewhere for tires, which lead to the whole conversation that I had 30 days and couldn't put more then 1,000 miles on the car before I brought it back to finalize the inspection. That sounds pretty damn clear to me! Fact is your company did work that I did not want done and charged me extra money that I don't really have to spend. News flash, a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck and that extra money that means nothing to you hurts my household! As for a discount, no I got no discount! I still paid full price for economy tires, which were still more expensive then I wanted to pay for tires, you didn't cut me any break whatsoever, so stop patting yourself on the back thinking you did me a favor. What you did is indeed shady and illegal! YOU DID WORK TO MY CAR THAT I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU NOT TO DO, then I got stuck holding the bag! What if I didn't have the money in my account to cover the extra charges that I never should have incurred? Oh that's right, you'd keep my car, and if I didn't get the money to you you then are able to sell my vehicle as a mechanics lien. Let's make this clear again, I DID NOT WANT THOSE TIRES ON MY CAR!!!! You best believe all my family friends coworkers and anyone else I can think if knows exactly what you did to me, as well as all of my sons friends and coworkers. These guys did not attempt to sell me a new tire as others have done when I had similar issues because these are expensive tires and everyone knows it. Honest review of Spurry's Tire Service Having lived in Easton for only 2 years at the time, I asked my neighbors where they take their cars to. Again and again I was told "Spurry's". I needed a new mechanic because it turns out my old one, who I thought was honest, had been periodically overpricing me. Hiding the lies within a sea of truth. A mechanic friend actually went thru all my receipts and it was like... legit... legit... legit... legit... woa no no no... legit... legit... legit... woa bad again... and so on. Fark yeah I keep em. When I first moved here I had asked a friend, but that place turned out to be trying to screw me. Not bothering to drop the name, and this isn't a review about them either. So when I had not one, not two, but three neighbors all say the same place, I felt... wait... actually it was not three, it was five... yes FIVE neighbors tell me Spurry's... so yeah I felt a little more hopeful after being repeatedly burned and attempted burned. I looked them up. "Tire Service" Dafuq? Are you guys SURE this is a place to get work done and a quality inspection? It's a TIRE PLACE!?... Yes relax. They do pretty much everything. Here look, your tint isn't going to pass inspection you'll need to get that removed and they won't pass it unless it's legal.... but but but... Look, shje says, just come with me I'll introduce you to Nick he does the inspec's. OK Fine. We go over. Go in to the office. Ask for Nick. We get Nick. He looks at my car. 'Nope that's not gonna pass. Come back when you have it removed.' So I get it removed by the same awesome neighbor that took me there. (She runs a tint service a block away. You should look them up. They to a fantastic job!). I schedule an inspection with Spurry's with my new used car I had just purchased, yes the one with the tint I was just taking about. I drop it off. They inform me of how long it is going to take, and I ask, and the owner is able to give me a lift home. They called me a bit later when it was done, and one of them comes and picks me up in their own car. No huss, no fuss. No extra charge. No 'oh god I gotta drive a customer home or pick him up! GAWD NO! BOoo!' No beer cans or a car that's like a dumpster with wheels. No chains-moking mechanic that picked me up. No negativity at all. It's just, 'Hey your car passed come get it.' Cool. 'Hey we're here, get in.' Cool. 'Hey here's your car. Here's what you owe, just like we said.' Cool. I have since brought my beloved vehicle back to Spurry's on a couple other occasions for work. Always happy with the work done. Always happy with the honesty. I'm the type that hangs out in the engine bay and chats and watches the work done. I don't just sit in the front office twiddling my thumbs. Nick doesn't hesitate to show you anything he's found or the state of anything you might have concerns about. Mechanics that aren't afraid to work right in front of you are my kind of mechanics. I'm also the type that googles problems and prices before I go to a shop. The kind that has a code reader on their car and connected to their smartphone so I KNOW what the problems are before I bring it in. The kind that orders parts ahead of time as well. The kind that watches online videos on how to do things that need to be done to your car ahead of time. The kind that can catch a place when they try and B.S. me. And most importantly, I am NOT the kind of nub that goes to a Tire Service place for an Inspection and then wants to 'shop around for other tires elsewhere' when I'm literally AT A DISCOUNT TIRE PLACE and have a smartphone and could literally sit in the parking lot/waiting area and find other tires for sale or call around... you know what we did in the 'old days' before smart phones. That one star review down there. Yeah I was there that day. I remember the complete look of dismay on the Spurry Team Members who you could tell from their tone and gestures felt profoundly insulted by the implication they were trying to screw someone over. I can't speak for them, but it was painfully obvious they felt they couldn't do anything to resolve the issue with a person who just wanted to blast them in person and online. Wow. Lots of good reviews on here. Maybe if you're from the area originally you are really taken care of here? We moved from out of state and had to get the safety inspection for our car in order to get a Maryland registration. We went through Spurry's for this. We paid for the inspection but our car failed the inspection and we had to get a few minor repairs: normal, no big deal. You get thirty days or one thousand miles to get reinspected for free. If you go over those, you have to pay for another inspection. *Somehow* the gentleman at Spurry's wrote our mileage down a good 1,000 miles off. So, we were a little surprised, a week later to find, when we brought the car back after getting the repairs done (at Spurry's, by the way: we didn't go somewhere else--they got our business), that we were being charged for the inspection again. We told them, "Something is wrong. We don't use the car that much. There is no way we went over 1000 miles because we were work from home, and we live less than ten miles from you." We were told multiple times by several guys there at Spurrys that we had gone over the limit. Thankfully, we had just titled the vehicle and we had the Maryland title, showing our mileage, that was lower than the number that Spurry's put down as our supposed mileage. So, their bogus numbers beat out the number from Maryland, a month before. We showed them the title and THEN they backed off their claim that we owed them more money. Obviously, they were the ones who were caught in their own lie. So, if you wish to go to their shop, make sure you keep every bit of paperwork and double-check them on it. They might be great mechanics, but where I come from, these are *very* shady business practices at best. We will not go back. read more

Had to go back 3 times to get the job done and they still trashed my painted custom rims on my $50K car. I had an air leak and confirmed that they could do painted rims. Not only did they scratch my rims all to hell, but I had to go back 2 additional times because they didn't balance the tires the first time (vibration when driving) and had to go back a second time because they had the inside of the tires on the outside. Their quality of service sucks. If you don't care about your car, this place is fine. Car enthusiast, stay away! This is a tire shop, and they can't even do that one thing right.
