I don't leave reviews often, but as a business owner myself, I know constructive feedback is necessary for improvement. I brought four wheels to Radial Tire to have a new set of all-seasons mounted and balanced. My car runs a staggered setup, meaning the rear wheels and tires are physically wider than the fronts. Since I maintain a small fleet of my own vehicles, I do almost all my own mechanical work, but tire mounting is one of the few things I have to outsource. Unfortunately, this experience highlighted a critical breakdown in basic quality control. I brought the wheels in loose to make the job as straightforward as possible for the shop, but they sat there for a few days before being touched. When I finally picked them up, I noticed the front tires were stretched onto the wider rear wheels, and vice versa. While the team corrected the mistake immediately once it was pointed out, this isn't just a minor technical oversight. Mismatched staggered tires can lead to a catastrophic bead failure or blowout at highway speeds. It is a severe safety hazard that could easily cause a fatal accident if it goes unnoticed before the wheels are bolted onto a vehicle. On top of the critical mounting error, the general pride in workmanship was non-existent. The wheels were handed back to me covered in caked-on mounting paste all over the outer rims without even a basic effort to wipe them down. To make matters worse, the shop also misplaced the summer tires I explicitly stated I wanted to keep. Management did the right thing by waiving the mounting and balancing fee, but at the end of the day, I am still short a set of my own property. I understand that mistakes happen, but a triple failure of safety verification, basic cleanliness, and property management means I can't risk bringing my vehicles back here, nor can I recommend them to any of the local car groups I'm a part of. read more

I had a bad experience with Mr. Tire in Laurel, MD and a friend suggested Radial Tires in Silver Spring, MD to solve the problem with my new tires and the replaced tire sensors that Mr. Tire had broken during my new tire install and after several tries, suggested I take my 4Runner to a Toyota dealer. I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. Whenever the occasion arrives that I need my tires serviced I gleefully look forward to the "Radial Tire" experience. The spirit of benevolent service I have experienced over the ten years I have been wonderful until it has infected me. Now whenever I go I don't go empty handed I take some pastries of some sort. The last I went I got a couple of trays of large muffins. When the service techs so the muffins in my arms they gleefully approached me with outstretched hands. But I told them these were for the owner. So when they got him and gave them to him he knew what to do. He took them back into the service bay and began doling them out to the joyous workers. I don't know who was the happiest I or owner as we watched the happiness on the workers faces. That joy is seen on the faces of customers as the depart. Do we look for an excuse to come back. I do if but to have the air in my tires checked. I have not experienced the level of professional care and workmanship which I have experienced during by tenure with Radial Tire. Their reviews are fake!! They also started deleting the fake reviews after I posted this. Luckily, I took a few screenshots for everyone to see. This is a horrific place. They damaged my car and refused to admit it. I had spoken with Francesco about it, but he did nothing. He passed me onto an older gentleman who said that he was the manager, but all he did was try to claim that I had brought in the car that way. And finally, I guess Bilal, who is the owner, only degrades and insults anyone who has a complaint. Please save yourselves some trouble, go somewhere else. There are so many good shops out there. I wish I had gone somewhere else. Their reviews are fake (on Google) ! I was wondering how such a bad tire shop has so many good reviews? I mean, if you look up some store, you'll see maybe 50-100 reviews, some good some bad. But if you look at these guys, they have 1000s of reviews and are all good? No way. So I dug into it. If you look at the recent customer comments, let's say one from 5 days ago, the shop replies with a thank you from 3 years ago! How can a shop thank a customer 3 years ago, when the customer just wrote the review 5 days ago? Because it's a fake review. They write a review about themselves and periodically update the post to make it seem like it's more recent. They have 100s of fake posts that they update weekly, saying fake things. I will need to report this place to the authorities. This is fraud, and they destroyed my car! Never go here! read more

Paul and his team did what others couldn't. They balanced my brand new LT275/70R17 BFG K03 AT tires which are notorious for high speed balancing issues. That was amazing and I'm very thankful, but even better was the very friendly service, actually inviting me into the shop to watch the process. Paul explained everything about the tires and recommended better ones next time. And the workflow is interesting where you put your car in line and in my case they actually allowed me to drive my 10K lbs diesel camper van into and out of the shop myself. I really appreciated that. I typically do all my own maintenance to make sure it's done right, but may give some of to them because I watched them work and trust their expertise. I highly recommend Radial Tire in Silver Spring and will definitely go back for anything they're willing to do. I couldn't believe they did what others couldn't for only $20 per tire and mine are over 100 lbs each! And they're one of the few shops in the area that have very tall shop doors. This is the tire place everyone in my neighborhood recommended and I now understand why. They are very professional, with no upsell. I brought my car in for an alignment, which was slightly tricky because of two slightly different tires. The first alignment did not go so well and I had to bring it back to try again. However, I will say they didn't dismiss my observation that the car was pulling, were willing to take it in on my schedule, were creative about a different solution, and were pretty easy to work with. The waiting area can get a little crowded and there's nowhere else to really go wait, so that's something to keep in mind, but I understand now why this is the tire place that was always recommended. I wish I didn't have to leave this review but they such messed up so bad. I scheduled a day to drop off and they didn't realized that I was scheduled and almost turned me away until they realized their mistake. Then they told me the work was done at 330pm. Then when I came in at 4:30pm they said they gave me the status of the wrong car, told me it should be only an hour. It took 3 hours. To top it all off this was the day my wife was leaving for a deployment and I missed out I spending time with her because all of this miscommunication. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else to buy tires. They are efficient, they are honest, they give advice that is in the best interest of you and your car, and they take care of those tires long after they sell them to you, including fixing nails and holes -even melting thick asphalt slurry seal off the rubber to restore tires ( that I was fully prepared to pay to replace)- at no cost . Dealership told us we needed new tires ASAP thinking we would buy from them. We have run flat tires. The dealership was trying to hit us for $1300. We went to Radial Tire this morning. Got there at 7am. I'm VERY familiar with how popular they are so you have to get there early to be first in line. They open at 9. Nick came out at 8am and did an inspection and advised that the tires were fine. No trying to quick sell or upsell us. Nick advised that the little cracking on the side of the tire was just road rash and wouldn't affect the tires performance. Nick also advised us that there was still a minimum of 16-20k miles to drive on the tires we already had but stated that they would rotate our tires for free since we bought the tires there. That on top of GREAT and FRIENDLY service? Can't beat it. This is how you stay in business and keep customers loyal for 20+ years. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! read more

While it's not ideal to go from a mechanic to speciality tire shop to fix a problem, I have no hesitation recommending Radial Tire. Everyone in the shop is friendly, helpful and wants to understand your car's problem to its full resolution. Spacious and welcoming waiting room. Strong WiFi and coffee! So the problem with my car could not be diagnosed by two "mechanics", but "tire whisperer" Francisco took his time and found tire cupping and flat spots where my regular mechanic just shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. It's rare to see customers with smiles on their faces after car repairs, but that's what you'll see at Radial. Pro Tip: Get there EARLY as they open at 9AM, but the line forms at 8. Also, to be clear, they are a tire and wheel shop (brakes also a specialty) - but very knowledgeable about all things automotive. Give 'em a try! read more

After repairing one of the original tires on my certified pre-owned car, I was told that my tires were performance summer tires and would eventually need performance all-season tires before the winter months. The sales professional showed me several different brands of tires that would fit my vehicle. He explained their differences and warranties. He then provided his recommendation based on my driving habit. I ordered four Michelin performance all-season tires on 9/4/25 and they were delivered and installed on 9/9/25. They are a great value.
