It was a terribly hot Saturday afternoon, and these guys had a stack up of cars to work on, but when they could see how worried we were about our car's steady service indicator light coming on during a cross country trip with kids - the guys at Mr. Tire were kind enough to at least take a quick look at our dip stick and mileage since the last oil change. I was back in Western Pennsylvania for my 50th high school reunion. After having a great time at the reunion, I had a flat tire on my way back to my hotel. Normally, a flat tire is not a big issue but my car is not equipped with a jack or a spare tire. This is something I didn't realize when I bought the car -- I just assumed there was a donut spare under the floorboard in the trunk. Anyway, I had the flat at 11pm on Saturday night and had to be towed off the highway. AND -- there is no where to buy a tire on Sunday in the greater New Stanton/Mt. Pleasant area. So, after spending an extra night in the hotel, I was on the phone with Mr. Tire as they opened on Monday morning. The staff at Mr. Tire was very accommodating and said they could get me right in. SO, I again had my car towed over to Mr Tire to have a new tire installed (I could see that my tire was beyond repair). I was impressed with the options they offered for tires and they were able to replace the tire with the exact same model of tire to match the flat. They had be "in and out" in less than 30 minutes. A 25 year old kid is the manager so don't even bother looking for any type of leadership there. Employees are treated as disposable garbage. Furthermore, they had TWO TIRES fall off of two different cars after they gave them back to their customers, and at least one car has been stolen off the lot. I had my vehicle inspected there, the total was over $800. Go somewhere else if you value your hard earned money and your life. Idiots. read more

Long story short- we're a military family who has a main residence in PA, but live in Morgantown, WV. Our cars are registered in PA, therefore must have inspections and emissions done in PA. After issues in Uniontown, I called this location. They were able to get me in same day. The guys at the front desk and the guys in the shop are absolute professionals. Not only did they get the oil change, emissions, inspection, and tire rotation done for me for a total of $107, they also helped me find a much needed part for my car. Our tire started leaking air dramatically while we were on the highway on our way from Philadelphia to Chicago and we were trying to beat a bad snow storm that was going to hit the Midwest before the holidays. We were FRANTIC. We had the car totally packed up including our cat and our dog and it was 5 pm on a weekday and didn't know the area at all. We tried a few places but they were all closed then we called Mr. Tire at 5:30 it was going to take us 15 minutes to get there and they closed at 6 but they said they would still take us and we were SO GRATEFUL! They took us with only 10 minutes left of their work day, took the time to patch the tire really well, and even allowed our dog to come in the waiting room after their regular customers left (it was freezing outside and she couldn't really stay in the car while they were working on it) staying well after the time they had to and we never felt that they were annoyed or rushing us out. They were incredibly hospitable and a Christmas Miracle!!! Thank you guys! read more

These guys are terrific. I recently had an alternator on my 10 year old van go out when I was traveling the PA turnpike. It was the day after Christmas and I was trying to get to Ohio. Knowing nothing about them, I pulled into the Mr. Tire hoping they could help me. Well, they couldn't have been nicer or done a better job. They took me into the shop to show me the problem in the engine, went out to the auto parts store to get a part because the store was about to close, fixed my alternator and had me back on the road in a hour and a half. The price was right, too- less than I would have paid at home. read more

This place is terrible. First they try to sell you everything under the sun. Second they screwed up the alignment in my truck. I had it checked and they made it worse not better. I had to go somewhere else and get it aligned again. Stay away from this place. read more
