These donuts are great. I had a donut with bacon on it, it was delicious. Salty and sweet, yum! Never had a donut with bacon bits on it, that was a first. The blueberry donut was fantastic. Everyone loves this place. I have tried to as well. The creme fillings to me are tasteless and flat- and scant. Im thinking that for around $18 a dozen you should have abundance- no so much. The chocolate glaze is also lifeless and simply sweet. It needs flavor. Overall -- every donut was dry(especially the buttermilk ones) and a bit greasy. The fritters were so greasy you couldn't eat. Wondering how often they change the oil and if they are overworking the dough. Counter workers have a bit of attitude at times- impatient. This donut place is so good! I can taste the freshness of the donuts and it's open 24/7 for those late night cravings! When I enter the shop, I can see that the workers are making the donuts in front of me so I know that everything is made fresh. I have gotten the bacon donut (forgot what it's actually called) and a box of glazed, maple, and chocolate donuts. The staff is also really friendly. Mr. T's is the best in town. Very delicious and a HUGE variety to choose from. They have buttermilk bars, maple bacon bars, devil's food donuts, old fashion, donut holes, and many more. Variety of beverages as well! Donuts are cheap too! Open all the time so very convenient. Only issue I have with them is their donuts are tasting a little dry as of late. When I came home for the holidays I wanted to try another place but my family members all rallied against me and nearly disowned me for not immediately jumping at the chance to try the infamous Mr T's. As far as donuts go, they did not disappoint, although at the time I was looking for something more savory. I don't know what else I expected given that it is in fact a donut shop. There was a line out the door which speaks to it's reputation as being the best of the best. This is definitely a local's favorite that all must try at least once. read more

I've actually never been to Dunkin Donuts, but after driving across town to pick up some donuts for my wife at Mr T's and finding they no longer take credit cards, and finding that I had no other way to pay, I walked out empty handed and went across the street. They seem to always have donuts and they are good, but the service has always been bad; workers seem hostile and unwelcoming as if you're a bother for even coming in and some of the prices are high for items like drinks. My husband and I ordered a dozen donuts and had to try a variety of what they offered. There is a charge for using a debit card, but it was under a dollar.
