Went in to have my windshield replaced. The woman who was working the front desk was friendly and helpful, and I would say the same with the man I assume is the owner. I actually have zero complaints with the customer service at the initial time of my visit. My complaint is about the $120 that went missing from my backseat. I do not have cameras in my car- only my word and my daughter's. Backstory- I am an anxious person on a normal day- if I have a purchase to make- I will count the money multiple times before arriving. I'm thorough: I know I had this money when I left my house to drive to Mr. Windshield. When I arrive at Mr. Windshield, I grabbed my purse from behind my driver seat; it dumped and I quickly grabbed what i could from over the seat and went inside. When it came time to pay, the 6 - $20 bills I had put aside wasn't inside anymore. I thought no big deal, took my spare $100 bill from my wallet and knew to look where I had dumped my purse the hour prior. I put my daughter in her seat and drove to a gas station- I started collecting my belongings from my backseat. I found my license, all my change, and my debit card. (My license and debit card were loose in my purse with the $120 because, like I've stated before, I physically need to touch my money and license when in my car to assure myself I have everything- I know, I'm overly thorough. This is where my complaint starts. When my daughter asked me why I was crying and searching the car for a half hour straight. I told her. I'm looking for something. "What're you looking for?" 'my money' "where did your money go?" 'idk baby, I'm looking for it now. Have you seen it?' She points to the floor where my license and change were and says how "you dropped your dollars". My daughter was very specific when we talkee- she even slightly scolded me for dropping my dollars and my purse. Sucks my situation wasn't so crappy otherwise it would of been a pretty cute moment with her and her detailed memory. Point is. We called to let the place know. Never once did anyone even listen as if I wasn't saying something crazy. Instantly, "we've been in business 40 years" Yes sir, I believe you. You were friendly- at first- and I was impressed with your business. I know my money went missing inside your business and your workers were only ones who had access to my vehicle. You made sure to clearly state that you were not even going to ask your employees. You even laughed on the phone and yelled, "did anyone steal anything out of that red thing" Literally mocked me. I was not expecting my money to be returned because I'm not naive. It was cash- it's gone. But I did expect the owner to hear me out and take my claim seriously. I want the employees who had access to my car at the time of my missing funds to be documented. That way when the next customer gets robbed during service, there will be a history to follow and catch the bad apple. I don't think every employee there is automatically a their; but I do know there is at least one fishy worker and my complaint was entirely swept under the rug. read more

Called first thing Monday morning and they had an opening available by 10am to fix my broken window from an unfortunate vehicle breakin over the weekend. I had a windshield replaced today (6-11-15). When I picked my vehicle up, a dirty dash and floor were waiting for me. And to my disgust, the remote starter receiver was hanging out of the front of the headliner. dangling in front of my face. This was their 'finished work". I asked the nice gal at the counter to help. She sent a tech out, who affixed it to the top of my brand new windshield, in plain view. This item had been installed out-of-sight, inside the headliner. The install person at Mr. windshield decided it looked better where I would have to stare at it. I thanked Joe Dirt, then went back in. I went back in and advised the gal behind the counter that this was not good. I didnt have time to wait there ( I was on lunch). She told me, "im giving you the option to come back". I said thank you, but Im afraid it will be worse if I come back. Like, how much butchering would they do, to try to fix what they had done, without having to take the windshield back out again. They were neither clean nor concerned. I just hope it was actually put in with more effort than the effort they put into being clean and thorough. I do NOT want to go back to them with any issues. I had a SocialLiving coupon to fix 2 small fissures in my windshield. In ten minutes they told me they were done and they had clearly not done ANYTHING. When I went to inquire inside, before I said a word, the guy behind the counter said to me that they had done what they could and the hole could not be filled in. I have a friend who owns this type of business in CA and he was very clear that they did not do the work and that the hole should have been filled in and only a shadow of the lines should be showing. I think they just didn't want to do any work to honor the SocialLiving voucher. Which in my book, means they're disreputable. read more

I got a crack in my windshield on 1/20/2018 and sent an e-mail to Mr. Windshield that night, a Saturday. Within 30 minutes I had an answer back telling me that they had my window in stock and could help me. I called first thing Monday morning and got an appointment for 1PM that day. I got there at 12:35 PM and was on my way home within an hour. I would go here again for windshield repair or replacement, however; I hope I don't HAVE to! :) I delt with Steve via e-mail and Karen in the office. Both were really nice and helpful, I would refer this business to anyone needing windshield repair/replacement. I was recommended to go here by a number of people, and I'm glad that I did. Mr. Windshield accommodated their time for me to be able to make it in. When I arrived I was greeted quickly, and they already were aware of my car and ready to go. Then I went over all the insurance info with a nice lady, and felt very comfortable. If you want the worst experience of your life with a local business i recommend, MR. WINDSHIELD. I easily give MR. WINDSHIELD negative digit review. On sat. 3-10-18 i had a chip repair left lower windshield. After the MR. WINDSHIELD supposed repair when i left i noticed the repair was highly visible .Even worse i noticed a dent on my hood left side in my line of sight. The dent had black silicone on it, obviously they did this when pushing them selves up on truck to do repair. Incorrect repair procedure.When i called to discuss this MR. WINDSHIELD belittled, berated and swore at me on the phone.Same thing when i called later. This time i was referred to as anal. I later contacted the business owner of MR. I took my minivan to Mr Windshield to have the rear window replaced and specifically asked if the glass would be cleaned out of the lift door, he said of course and I will clean all the glass from the car. That next weekend we used the door for the first time, it sounded like a babies rattle just like when I dropped it off and also ther was glass under the seats. We called to complain about all the glass in the van, he was such a JERK! he said he personally cleaned the car and then he made my wife on the phone call him a liar! He acthually said on the phone "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR" My wife had to say from all the glass and rattling noise yes you must be there is so much glass in the van. But he said bring it back and I will do a better job. Upon arriving just has I walked up to hand him the keys he turned his back on me walked away and started helping the two other guys install a windshield on a Ford Escort.(I guess it takes 3 guys to do an Escort, RIGHT) anyway the attitude got worse. On the walk to my van "So your wife called me a liar so show me the glass". I opened the door and said "you told me you would clean that out" (it rattled just like when I dropped it off) he said I am not going to detail your car for you. He told me when I dropped it off no problem getting that glass out of the door but NOW I want a free detail job. As we were leaving he was backing another car out of his shop and he yells out the window "you wanna move that car, maybe you can find the parking lot" The car was not in his way in anyway we were just dropping off and he knew we were leaving in that car right now! That did it I told my son to get the keys back LET'S GET OUT OF HERE! when he gave the keys back, my son said "we will never come back" The JERK said good! and I hope anybody you know doesn't come here either.
