I'm proud to say Playa Bowls has never done that to me. And this Playa has always gotten my annoying custom order exactly right. I add a lot of toppings, get a mixed base, so I know it's a pain, but it comes out perfect every time. And unlike some other places, their mango is always sweet and the chunks are never too gigantic to chew. Love this place, so many choices, I've got to start trying some of the other options, I just love my go-tos so much, haha.

The last time they actually said they could not give me anything because the acai was too hard. Tonight I arrived approx 8:20 and after my bowl was made the staff member gave me my bowl and said sorry we are out of honey. I find that hard to believe. The store opens tomorrow morning and honey will be needed for orders. My guess is it was already put away and she didn't feel like getting it out again. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The bowls are not the same, in my opinion, without honey. Please educate staff on customer service and the time they can clean/pack up, not make orders. If orders are limited after 8:15 please post that so customers are aware to arrive before that time or they risk not getting what they want. Thank you

The bacon seemed high quality but could have cooked a bit longer. The house made sausage patties were overcooked and tough with more spice than I would have desired. The French toast was well soaked in the egg mixture and more than enough for a serving. Probably ranking high on the list of French toast I've had. However, I don't believe it is a staple of the menu. It was a special of the day. I would only really recommend simply delicious when the yearning for a good scone comes around. Either that if looking for a quiet place to sit and chat with an old friend over a scone and coffee - there isn't much of a crowd so it would be the perfect place to catch up.
