A small spot, with only three tables; however, the Thai tea is very good, we also ordered soup dumplings, which were really good, fried chicken, wings, and fried shrimp with cheese. Will definitely go back, reasonably priced and good.

After a hot summer day, my sister and I were in need of a sweet treat. We decided to check out The Whale Tea and were pleasantly satisfied with our experience. The inside was nice and the worker was quiet but very kind. The peach slush with lychee jelly has quenched my thirst and left me feeling refreshed. I will definitely be coming back here and the lid with little ears is so cute

I came upon this place after searching for bubble tea around my area. Surprisingly, I saw this place just had their grand opening! After searching online, I realized this is a franchise bubble tea company that I just never heard of. First time here, I ordered their signature milk tea and a mango slush to share with my daughter. Their mango slush was pretty good. My daughter kept hogging onto the drink, just like another other kids would if the drink is yummy. Second time I visited, I ordered their signature milk tea again. My husband had an oreo milk tea. The staff in the cafe was so nice and gave me some samples of their coffee crystal, aka coffee jelly, with milk to try. My husband drinks black coffee, so he actually had me ordered the coffee crystal for him on top of his oreo milk tea. But for me, I think the coffee jelly is slightly strong for me. I am still debating if I should try their dessert next time.

Super cute place with lots of options! Only thing is their Creme brûlée taro tea just tasted like taro tea! Wish there was more of a Creme brûlée flavor

For example, appx 8 oz Vietnamese coffee here was $5, whereas you can get like 12 fl oz for 4 buckaroos in the city at most places. The service was great and on point. I mean, the staff gave me literally a tablespoon of water just to keep my glass 100% full. He even asked if we wanted to keep any sauces from our apps when we was clearing our plates away. Spring rolls were standard, as well as the grilled pork spring rolls. It's worth a try if it is your first. Pho: while flavor was fine, I'm not accustomed to seeing cloudy pho. I took leftover home, and there was not a layer of fat that formed (which I didn't mind)... so while the broth is leaner, that would explain the flavor being slightly compromised. The bo luc lac I did not like as much. It was more "beefy" flavor than a chargrilled flavored I was looking for. We were also bummed they wouldn't serve it over a bed of fried noodles instead of lettuce, even though we said we would pay extra. It's much better than I was expecting for suburbian pho.

Sitting right next door to Pho Palace on Bustleton Avenue in the far Northeast in Philadelphia,…read moreYaudim Dim Sum & Noodle is a small modern semi fast food Chinese kitchen that models itself as a quick dim sum (small bowl) house where you order at the cashier from the large laminated menu on the counter the most popular traditional plates, and then sit at a table until the order taker/chef/server brings your food to you on plastic trays. All that would be fine if you don't miss the old ladies with their pushcarts hawking their goodies at your table. I sort of did miss them as they are what I remember most fondly about those enormous meals around a large round table with family and friends that I enjoyed growing up. But, this is certainly not that, and therein lies the difference of having a totally enjoyable experience vs a fast food version without any cultural entertainment value. Without that, the food was just not as tasty and fun. The Xiao Long Bao skin was too thick and chewy, although the pork infused hot soup within was decent. Similarly, the sui mai and shrimp dumplings had better texture outside, but tiny shrimp within. The glutinous rice rolls had a pleasant light soy sauce and right textured wrap, but small shrimp in both size and number. The best we had was the potato croquette (crunchy outside, hot and grated tato within). The room was all blond wood and large traditional Chinese kitchen mural on the wall. Service was efficient. Prices were about right given the recent restaurant inflation. For my three stars I would rather return to the enrapture of the old ladies and their carts.
