4 wings, 3 tenders, 2 waffles, a basket of fries, and a mason jar of cool aid. That's what $70 gets you here. Both the wings and tenders were dry, and the tenders were 85% breading. The cool aid was the only decent thing, but I guess it's not hard to mess up water and a cool aid packet. At least you get to keep the mason jar I guess. The waffles were okay, but very soggy. We got the cheesecake waffle and the Oreo waffle. The strawberries weren't fresh, the cheesecake tasted store bought, and the Oreo was just cookie crumbles and melted whip cream. I have a hard time believing they actually make any of their food from scratch; it's definitely giving pre-bought food they re-fry. Even if the service had been good, it wouldn't make up for the amount of money we lost on such an awful dinner. Both people running the food truck look and acted like they wanted to be literally anywhere else. When we brought up our dissatisfaction with the portion sizes compared to price, we were rudely told this is what it is and it's the same thing you'd get at wingstop. As of the day I am writing this, I can currently get 20 wings, 1 large fry, and 2 dipping sauces for $20. For $20 I can maybe get 8 wings & 2 things of fries. I've had better food at the state fair for less. They've also deliberately blocked off all the pricing on their menu, and are not transparent at all. They came back to us a second time after paying because apparently they didn't charge us for the tenders, which was an additional $10 (for 3 tenders mind you) on top of the $12 for the one waffle it was supposed to go with. My apartment complex hosted this food truck the other day and I figured I would try it out because I hadn't had comfort food in a while. When I first walked up to the truck, I saw the menu and was surprised by what the prices were. 12 dollars for chicken tenders, 10-12 dollars for waffles, 8 dollars for wings, and even 5 dollars for their special "ghetto seasoning." But I figured what the heck, I'll support a small business and pay a bit more for what I assumed was going to be good food considering their rating on Yelp. I ordered their chicken and waffles and when I was handed the food, I honestly thought it was a joke. I paid 22 dollars to a not so happy cashier for 4 chicken wings, 1 small waffle, and 1 small packet of syrup. This portion could be the same size as what you would get in a kids meal. And the worst part was that the wings tasted like wings you could get from WingStop. I honestly was disappointed because I was looking forward to having some tasty comfort food. Mr. wonderfuls chicken and waffles came to my apartment complex for a food truck night. I was so excited to have some southern fried chicken but this was disappointing. Upon opening the box, I only had four small chicken wings and a pile of fries for $20... I was expecting much more. I was hoping that the meal would at least taste good but everything was so salty and the fries were soaked in oil from the fryer, I couldn't even eat anything. (Update) I went and told the gentleman that I couldn't eat it because it was so salty and he did provide me with four more wings with light seasoning. I have mixed feelings about this place. The wings are very good but the size of the wings vary a lot. You could get big wings or you could get small wings and it's still the same price. They charge $8 for 4 wings which is pricey but I am alright if they are good but with "taxes" 4 wings cost $10.52. Even at 7.5% sales tax, the tax should only be .60 cents. So not sure what the extra $1.92 is for? Like I said the wings are good and if you are cool with inconsistent wing sizes and being charged an extra $2.52 for 4 wings then you will love it. read more

My apartment complex brings different food trucks a couple days a month and today they had Mr. Wonderful's chicken and waffles from 5-8 right outside. Chicken and waffles is one of my boyfriend's favorite things to eat, so we had to try it! We originally wanted to order the chocolate cream waffle and the chicken dirty fries, but they were out of cream and the dirty fries. I was pretty disappointed. We ended up just getting the chocolate waffle and the wings and fries which came out to ~22 dollars with tax. For the amount of food we got, I would say that it was pretty pricey. The fries were seasoned, but not enough for my taste. In addition, I think they could have been a little more crispy. The wings were my favorite part of the meal because they were really crispy and were seasoned well! My boyfriend really enjoyed the waffle. While it was good, I didn't think it was anything special. Overall, I don't think I would visit this food truck again because of the price and the lack of certain menu items. read more

This food truck came to my complex. I was looking forward to this food truck, as I love chicken and waffles. To my surprise I was throughly disappointed. I ordered the chicken and waffles, with a side of seasoned fries. There was a strong fried oil smell when I opened the box. Once I tasted the chicken and waffles I had to spit it out. It tasted just like it smelled as if I was eating oil. I did finish the chicken. It wasn't the best but it was edible. I did feel that the seasoned fries were way too salty. I have to say it was not what I expected at first. The chicken was chicken wings but you know what... it makes total sense! You get a crunchy flavor packed bite EVERY bite!! And that waffle... Upon arriving at it's parked location, I could already tell that it was going to be good with the sheer deliciousness that was wafting in the air. I had the tenders and waffles and the first bite of the waffles took me off guard. All experience of waffles was a type of thick almost pancake like texture. But with this one, it was thin, light and crispy, just like a funnel cake. And just as a waffle should be. Then came the chicken tenders, so warm, crispy, savory, and delicious. It was so much so that I couldn't drop myself or slow down from eating because I wanted more of it. And once it was all gone there's the satisfied notion that one had touched a piece of flavor heaven. We are talking deep fried chicken, perfectly spiced, and a deep fried Belgian waffle. My Daughter and her Friend age 8 and 11, both got the chicken tenders and fries. They couldn't stop smiling, they loved it. This is a fun food truck, perfect for when you want to indulge and treat yourself to dessert or a dinner-dessert. Can't wait to have it again!
