Mr. You is the perfect trifecta; The food is flavorful, the portion sizes are amazing, and the prices are great. Depending on your appetite, a single combo plate could easily feed two or put one person into a food-coma. If dining with multiple people, I will usually order a few combo plates with different dishes so we are all able to try multiple things. Every dish I've had here has well surpassed my expectations. The orange chicken is flavorful and crispy. The teriyaki chicken is moist and perfectly cooked. Some of my favorite dishes are the spicy chicken wings and cream cheese wontons. I have gone to this location many times as it is close to my work and you get good portions for the price you pay... The food typically tastes decent, but I've had a couple meals that just weren't hitting the spot, but as you can see it didn't stop me from occasionally filling my craving for Chinese food. Today I ordered some chow mein with beef and broccoli and teriyaki chicken (my typical). First bite of broccoli lit my fire, so I was assuming a spicy piece fell out from another tray and snuck itself into my meal. I was looking at the rest of them to see if I could see any pepper on it, but instead I found a couple little worm friends chillin in my broccoli. They were obviously cooked and some might say it's a little extra protein, but my intentions were not to eat bugs today. Makes me wonder how many other times I have eaten these guys. Definitely not returning after this. After tossing out my meal, I was at least hoping the fortune cookie would give me some good news. Guess what, it was half a cookie and no fortune. Such a lucky day for me, I should go buy a lotto ticket. Kidding... I'd lose. Unless you want some squirmy wormies in your food, I would suggest to think twice about eating at this location. So this place really sucks! If I could give it Zero Stars I would. Every time I go in here the Food is always old and I have to ask for fresh food which takes forever to make! The service sucks! I requested and paid in full $177 dollars for a party trays I order and placed 2 weeks ago, but when I came in today to pickup my party trays at 3:00pm, with no one here (no customers) it was not ready. The cook apparently forgot about the order. And I was told I would have to wait about 30-40mins for all my food?! Really? no, I'm so sorry, let me see about asking the manager what we can do for you, for your inconvenience. Nothing! I had to request to talk to the manager. And of course they weren't there. I ordered food from Mr. You because it was recommended by a fellow coworker. I was very sad that almost my entire order tasted like a bowl of charcoal. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and the teriyaki chicken with a side of steamed vegetables and steamed rice. First off, the teriyaki chicken had no sauce on it it just tasted like cooked bland chicken. The Kung Pao was so burnt you could literally smell it when you opened the box. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but after eating it, I felt like I was eating pure charcoal. Not only did it taste that bad but it also left a horrible after taste that I still have in my mouth 20 minutes after eating it. I was even bold enough to keep trying but it was getting worse. I eventually threw it away after like 3 tries. The only thing that was really good were the cream cheese wontons. Those were so good that I had to go from 1 star to 2. I didn't take pictures because it was already in the trash by the time I wrote this review. I don't live in Moreno Valley, but I do work out here and love to try new things. I'm sorry but I will not be recommending this Chinese restaurant. I really hate to say this but it probably has to be the worst Chinese food I've ever had and that's rough coming from me. Also, the peach cobbler was horrible. I don't know what compelled me to order a peach cobbler from a Chinese restaurant but I did... mistake... The peaches (you can taste) come from a can and they use the canned syrup ones because you can totally taste it. The cobbler was soggy and way too juicy. Too sweet and just not what I pictured.
