Some call it a dive bar, some are more generous; are there sticky tables, servers with tattoos, a busy bar were suds and cheaper whiskey prevail, and original paint? You bet! Let's get to the food. Lucky's menu features a variety of burgers, salads, wings, hotdogs and sides. Don't expect beer on tap, but an extensive selection of bottled beer should satisfy most folks. We ordered a Black and Blu burger with onion straws and a patty melt with fries. From the time we walked in until our food arrived probably took about 25 minutes. That was our own fault as we took way too long deciding what to order. When our food arrived, I immediately dug into the well constructed burger. I could barely open my mouth wide enough. And the taste? Very tasty. My wife enjoyed her patty melt--a burger on marbled rye with cheese and cooked onions that holds up surprisingly well! My onion straws were crunchy and sweet. At 8:50, they shut the outside lights off on us, still 10 minutes before closing. I went inside to refill my drink at 8:52, they eventually turned the lights back on, apparently oblivious to the fact that we were sitting out there?? I took our trash in but all the trash baskets were without bags and I didn't want to throw the trash in the can with no bag, so I set it on the top of the trash cabinet. She swiped the bags off the trash cabinet like it was a major inconvenience to her and at 8:55 she locked the door. She was so worried about her cleaning and making sure she could walk out that door at 9pm. Stores are open until 9pm. She shouldn't be so worried about walking out the door at 9. Cleaning can be done while people are still in the store and after guest leave, it doesn't hurt to have to wipe off one extra table? Just very rude. What I will say is that the dining room was clean and the store was neatly kept but service was terrible and the attitude sucked! Not sure why younger employees don't understand what providing good customer services look like anymore (This doesn't apply to ALL younger people, but enough that is it an issue).
